Amazing performances from these 2 stars tonight! Shane richie does not deserve the hate he gets on here!!!

Shane Richie is incredibly versatile, most people don't realise, but he actually plays two roles in EastEnders.

Tonight, for example he played Alfie Moon, who is actually quite a dark, and decent character.

The other 11 1/2 months of the year he plays a character called Shane Richie-lite who is a gibbering, idiotic fool.

Maybe the "gibbering, idiotic fool" is him trying to use jokes to hide his dark, and decent character. I see him do that a lot.

I agree, great actor, one of the best in Eastenders.

I didn't know Shane Ritchie had it in him to act this well, the cheeky chappy character is outdated now and had been since he left the first time.

Shane is great when he's in dramatic mode, imo this is what he does best acting wise but I love him when he's being the cheeky chappy as well because he makes me laugh!

But I guess I just love Shane Richie!

Jessie does a brilliant job too!

Shane is doing a great job of this s/l. He can only work with what he's given and he's been given nothing decent for months.
