Ditto for me. They're just on too much.

Corrie definatly has got bad, but people are used to it now. It's like when a team gets relegated from the Premiership, it unbearable at first, but then fans get used to being a bog standard Championship team.

Based on Main showing yeah.
Thing is EastEnders is getting over 1 million views on I Player per episode these days but that's not included into it's figures. (yet)

Your not really.
You have overnight figures (Based on ITV/BBC1 main showing only)
You then have Official Figures which take Recordings/Sky+ ect into account.

Take EastEnders for example.

Main showing
+300k-700k+ for BBC3
300k-700k+ for Omnibus (Last time I looked Friday night got around 700k)
+1 million+ for showing on I Player

Then there is other ways of watching like You tube. I know a lot of ITV content is banned from You tube but whole episodes of EastEnders are added to you tube and seem to be left on there.

Plus of course there is other ways of catching up.

There is talk of Iplayer/ITV player ect being included into the official ratings soon.

I dip in and out of Corrie now but I am seriously close to deserting it. EastEnders has had brilliant episodes all this week and Corrie's just seemed really dire and unwatchable. I think I'll tune out until they get a new EP.

I won't stop watching completely but I really don't care if I don't see episodes. I didn't see it tonight at all

All these are included for a week after the broadcast, and the final figures won't be out until Tuesday of next week.”

I think the comparison is to last year's overnight figure so it is comparing like for like. Whatever you compare (overnights or officials) it doesn't make good reading.

Also the final figures never include omnibus/repeat showings and ITV player viewing if it's done through a computer.

No, I'm talking about the overnights for 2013, not the final figures, I'm talking overnights on digital spy? So if they shoot up in the final figures (which every soap does, especially eastenders, hence the reason it's in the most popular 5 for barb this week and corrie isn't) this year, then they also shot up last year, what's the difference?:/ I know comparing it with the exact episode last year is a bit inaccurate but it just proves how many viewers have stopped watching now...

When I look on barb sometimes EastEnders is in the top 5, sometimes corrie is in the top 5, sometimes they both are... People who say corrie always comes out ahead in the final figures are wrong.

Corrie doesn't have HD or +1 added to its BARB figures. EastEnders already has it bundled in.

Corrie's HD figures are usually between 700k-1m.
