Is the Humax HDR-1010S still plagued by bugs in the firmware?

For me it's just a very quick reassurance that the recording has actually begun. It only lasts a second and means I can continue watching my current programme without concern.

My Humax 9200T used to show on screen when a recording had started, I found it rather annoying to be honest.
So the idea of any onscreen notification I wouldn't like, it's bad enough when the odd series link gets updated and that shows on screen.
