Anyone catch the name of the actress playing Auntie Barbara? I'm trying to look her up to satisfy my obsessive compulsive disorder.

With weak s/ls like this, it's hardly suprising. They are writing scripts with pathetic storylines promoting silly litle 'problems' that are easily resolved - that's what i find so annoying about corrie nowadays. There are no gritty s/ls anymore.

I was to see those extremely cruel old fashioned mouse traps being put down by Tim, I thought they had been made illegal. So much easier to use humane mouse traps. I know, in vast quantities, they are vermin, but they are also cute little creatures.

Me too! I'm glad I'm not the only sufferer, I'm sure she's been in tv for years, looks familiar.

This Les Dennis sl is soo boring, too much focus on someone I couldn't give a toss about, also his acting is crap.

Thank god, this silly dognapping sl is over, that's the fastest I've seen Eccles move, she couldn't wait to get away from Maddeh and Sawpeh.

I'm sure I recognised her too. Her voice sounded very familiar.

Those episodes dragged for me. I recorded them and at the end of the first half of the first episode I was convinced it was the end of the first episode and nearly switched it off and deleted it until I realised - I've noticed that that's been happening more and more to me lately.

There wasn't much I enjoyed: Peter and Jim, Steve and Jim and Steve and Tracy when she told him about Jim were the highlights.

Michael's 'heart' storyline? *yawn* Putting him with Gail has been a bad move for me as I bloomin' hate her when she's simpering over a bloke and he simpers nearly as much as her!!! I did find Kylie's continual putting her foot in it mildly amusing though.

Dev, Julie and Mary? *double yawn* (and I usually love Mary).

The Eccles kidnap story was downright silly, as if Sally would have missed a barking/snarling/whimpering dog living under her roof. Note to Corrie: she doesn't live in Downton but a small house in Salford! Amy's been a right little bitch lately and (IMO) there's no way she's have folded so quickly to Ken's 'interrogation' and just like Max Amy's had a ridiculously speedy change of personality just to facilitate a storyline. She was a sarky little bugger before but never downright nasty. Only high point was Tracy's worried face when she realised that her daughter had been lying - welcome to Deirdre's world Tracy!

TPTB must have realised they were going too far with Michelle as she has softened considerably and there's no longer a Michelle-Liz tag team taking the p!ss out of Steve. Small improvements which I appreciate as before Michelle was so nasty and 'aren't you lucky to be with me' that you wondered why the hell he would want to be with her (and lads, yes you really would get tired of the pneumatic tits if you had to put up with the previous personality )

If this was a school report I'd be writing: Unsatisfactory, must do better.

I really like nice Michelle. She was nice before Steve broke her heart (in 17 places) and I've always liked her friendship with Carla. She was the perfect gf tonight.

I'm so relieved about Eccles, but note that Amy is a budding psychopath who was prepared to have him put down.

The best part of those episodes surely had to be red face Jim being dragged away by the guards shouting to Peter, 'I kiy ya, Barlow! I kiy ya!' I havnt laughed at Corrie like that in ages.

I worry about the mental wellbeing of both the Barlow kiddies. Amy's mum is a convicted murderer, her granddad is in prison for armed robbery, her mum's boyfriend is soon to be revealed as a murderer - she's had very little stability in her young life and to top it all, she has lactose intolerance. Simon's also had little stability - his mum is dead, his dad is on remand for murder, his first stepmum can't keep a relationship going for more than five minutes, he hates his second stepmum and he seems to be constantly batted between Leanne's and Grandma Deirdre's house where his cousin torments him.

I see them in the future as a serial killing couple, hiding the corpses under Bessie Street Infants

We know, but Tracy was released from prison on a technicality and now has to reinvent her past to make herself seem less murdery.
