Was a good episode, but it proved how much of a stupid bitch tosh is and why everyone hates her, she had a misscarage yesterday ffs, and now she's getting involved with stuff that's got nothing to do with her, silly cow, the sooner she is gone, the better!

I agree she shouldn't have got involved. It was thoughtless of her to put a family who have nothing through more grief. I hope Tina realizes that Tosh has done wrong and puts some sense into her.

Tosh hasn't done anything wrong. Alfie was the one who did wrong.

Tosh is a firefighter, every day she puts her life on the line - and sometimes watches people die - so when people like Alfie purposefully start a fire, I can imagine she wouldn't want him to get away with it.

I wouldn't hate someone who was so broke that they had to burn their house down in order to get cut a little slack.

Yes but it be ok if they were broke not because of their own stupidity and acting like an ass the last few months.

It's certainly better than 2011,2012, and 2013, 2012 and 2013 catch up clips are available on the bbc eastenders websites and it has got A LOT better, it could be better though, there's a few cast members like tosh that need to go! But yes, it is getting there!

In fairness I don't see how Alfie had to burn down the house. Surely he could have turned to Eddie Moon for help or Kat's rich sister Belinda

Alfie endangered half a dozen lives in this little scam. Whether it directly affects her doesn't matter; she's the only one who will rightfully report this crime to the police.

People die in fires and Tosh knows that better than anyone. It's not like Alfie's usual mischief that can go ignored.

Of course she's involved in it. Alfie overheard Tosh talking about a fire she put out a few weeks ago where it was an insurance scam and Alfie even quizzed her on it. She mentioned that tonight.

Apart from that. I don't think there's many fire fighters who would ignore a hunch or a suspicion that a fire was caused deliberately.

Tosh did the right thing.

Alfie's pride probably wouldn't let him accept money off Belinda or Eddie(If he even knows were he is). Also lets be honest it would be far too easy storyline wise if Alfie accepted the money.

Well actually I'd say it proves she's quite on the ball considering she's the only person who has clocked on to the fact that it was arson and not an accident.

Or just like... looked for a job outside the Square. I wonder if he's forgot he's living in one of the busiest capital cities in the world?

True, it does prove she is on the ball and she is in the right, people can't just go around starting fires and with Tosh being a fire fighter she will see the damage a fire can do to people's lives no doubt she will of seen people die from the impact of fires. However as she only had a miscarriage yesterday surely her mind would be on that and not Alfie's house fire.

Yeah its funny how they all live in a bubble on the square most of the time - they all work there, drink/socialise there and do there shopping in the minute mart etc. And yet the day Lucy died it seems like a lot of them suddenly left the square which is really out of character.

I'm not saying Alfie was right but Tosh poking her nose in is going to affect a now badly hurt Kat, the three kids and the rest of the Slater family. Yes Aflie is a stupid idiot who did something wrong but his punishment is what happened to Kat. Tosh making sure a broke family have no where to live seems pretty selfish to me

No one has to burn their house down. How would you feel about him if Kat had died or she'd brought back the twins and they had died

Alfie's act was despicable and completely unacceptable and as much as Tosh is being annoying at the moment I'm glad she stuck her nose in and hope Alfie is made to pay.

They have nowhere to live because Alfie burned their house down. If Alfie goes to prison as he should Kat and her kids are hardly going to be left homeless.

Eddie Moon was skint the last we heard. That was why Alfie had to borrow Amy's money off of Roxy when Michael ran off with the VAT money and denied conning Jean.

Belinda's husband was also conveniently forgotten about when The Slaters needed 10k back in 2004. It was implied in 2010 that she was with someone else. They could at least mention these avenues to make the storyline slightly more realistic though.

Funny how Alfie is Satan over a reckless and desperate course of action that had results he wouldn't have wanted in a million years, but Michael was liked even though he deliberately tried to make it so that Tyler AND Janine ended up dead.

This. She should shop Alfie after the insurance has paid out for the sake of Kat and the rest of the family, if she must. It had nothing to do with them and they will suffer if the insurance finds out that Alfie was responsible.

I suppose the council would put them somewhere but still Kat would be unable to work, Alfie would be in the nick and i guess the kids would either have to be looked after by Mo/Stacey or taken into care.
