Kat's 14th episode anniversary

Yesterday (18th September) marked 14 years since Kat's very first episode on the show. I think it's very fitting that she has a huge storyline at this time, as I feel she is a central character played by a brilliant actress.

Kat is a great character and jessie plays her so well. Glad shes been at the forefront of such big storylines. Think this storyline and the aftermath will top them all

Wow yes, I just realised that!:O fantastic acting from Jessie Wallace! Hopefully, she will be on EastEnders for many years to come!

Its good that she is getting a great storyline that has nothing to do with her cheating on Alfie etc. Poor kat was almost ruined when she came back but now seems to have been restored to her former glory

Wow! Time certainly flies!

Jessie is an amazing actress and Kat is brilliant, I just hope she can come to terms with her injuries and Alfie's stupidity!

Kat is a brilliant character, she had a brilliantly written background which explained why she acts differently & dresses differently. One of the best EE characters IMO.

Does anyone know how many times she's left and come back again? I had thought it was only twice. I remember one comeback of hers when she was seen by big mo, and the other comeback, was when she and alfie were on the run etc. So am i right in thinking she's had two comebacks since she started EE?

The comeback where she was seen by Big Mo was when the actress was coming back from maternity leave. She'd only been off screen about 6 months that time.

In my opinion, Newman restored her to her former glory in summer 2013, after she'd carried out Who Shagged Kat? The Kat, Whit and Bianca three hander was the rejuvenation of Kat.

The one with Big Mo was when she'd been revealed to be living in a brothel or something, if my memory serves me correctly? She returned the episode before Zoe left, and then stayed until Christmas 2005, and then came back in September 2010, left again sometime in 2012 for Charlie's stroke and then came back.
