How do you 'get used to' wine?

It's not a prerequisite to drink, if you don't like alcohol, there are plenty of alternatives to have if it's a social thing - non alcoholic drinks and obviously a plethora of soft drinks.

I drank when I was younger, like most of us do but I never enjoyed the taste of it - it's only when I got older, I realised it was ridiculous - I don't like it! Don't try and fit in - your health & finances will thank you for it

Judging by your other few posts which all seem to be about how white people suffer at the hands of black people I'm surprised you aren't singing the praises of white wine claiming it's been destroyed by people preferring red wine.

Perhaps a very small amount is beneficial, though barely anyone I know who drinks red wine actually drinks only up to that particular volume.

I'd say that, among regular wine drinkers, there are far more people drinking too much wine than there are drinking the safe weekly limit only.
