EE: What happens to Alfie?
James J
20-09-2014
Tosh told the police.

So what happens to Alfie? Does he get nicked for it?

Nothing in the spoilers about them for the next two weeks!

Mick said Tosh had grassed but did he go with her or just make an assumption based on her word?

If she has grassed Alfie up then I suspect the police will investigate and will question him about the fire.

I assume that Alfie and Kat won't be seen for a couple of weeks or so now because it's the Phil/Sharon/Shirley stuff next week which will probably continue into the following week!

Alfie will probably be seen in a scene maybe with Mick or Tosh or in a crowd scene in the pub or caff and seeing Kat in hospital.

He gets nicked for it and the court case and ensuing drama with Kat airs around the and as part of the 30th celebrations.

can be the only way that kat and alfie have a big part in the 30th as I doubt that either of them killed Lucy.

think that all the current big storylines and those to come over autumn will be long running till around the 30th.

think a Kat and Alfie split is on the cards she can't forgive him for disfiguring her and putting the twins lives at stake surely

Can she prove it wasn't an accident?

The fire officer investigating said it was an accident Alfie told him he had a cigarette and he still said his report would say the same thing.

One of the what's next features talked about Alfie's guilt. He's in three episodes next week so I presume he talks his way out of what Tosh has said.

What I don't understand is unless Alfie cracks and confesses exactly what is she going to do about it. The fire report stated it was an accident. Given thats the case there is no way the police are going to believe Tosh who has no evidence over the fire investigators official report!

Did Kat hear Alfie and Mick talking at the end of last night's episode?

Why cant they just leave them alone to be happy. its a crappy storyline with Alfie not having anything to gain from the fire, it just triggers a lot more crying, shouting and snivelling.... I cant be bothered with it

Because happy doesn't create drama and EE is supposed to be "great drama from the BBC".

If the worst came to the worst, Alfie could say that he tried smoking a cigarette for the first time (which he did) due to feeling stressed over his money problems and that he accidentally tossed it in the bin without putting it out properly, but didn't say anything to his family and friends because he felt guilty.

Evidence: Money issues, Alfie doesn't smoke, speaking to Tosh about a similar case him reacting to Kat on the phone as if he knew (I'd imagine Kat might twig that). His confessionti Mick (if Mick would testify)

Likeout outcome: All the first 3 points are circumstantial and wouldn't stand up in court as evidence and I couldn't see Mick or Kat testifying against him
