I really like david, but I'm not bothered about wether he comes back or not, there's better characaters than david that they can bring back! I hope they can give carol some meaty storylines soon though.

I would love to see David again but without Bianca there I'm not sure why he would return.

Ian and Carol are still links for him, with them there he can always return.

He never returned for Ian in all those years and I'm not sure he'd come back "just" for Carol after she told him to do one. She'd have to ask and I think they're both too proud.

Maybe for the kids.
