does eastenders need a completely new family on the square

Nope, we've seen enough new characaters as it is, anymore and the show will just start to get unrecognisable, besides there's already quite a few characaters that shouldn't still be in EastEnders... Tamwar, tosh, lee, Donna, fatboy, dexter etc...

I would like to see some returning cast members however, charlie, jean, and sean should return for the slaters and tanya and zainab for the brannings and masoods.

I agree that they need to get rid of some of the weaker characters

Tosh
Lee
Donna
Fat boy
Dexter
Whitney
Abi
Emma

Then they can focus on building up the Masood and Fox clans again through newcomer Kush (who will end up marrying Shabnam) and through Kim's husband. Then add
Paul Coker and Sylvia and the cast will be complete.

We've had as close to ehat they will ever let us have to a new family with the Carters in the last year.
