I've got into baking recently and thought I would start a thread to discuss what we're all baking, what recipes we are all using etc.

I made custard tart with rhubarb decorated on top last week. And this week, I'm making Mary Berry's cherry cake. I might post pictures up when I'm done

Yesterday I made Mary Berry's victoria sponge with my own homemade jam, a lemon drizzle cake, scones and brownies. I was very bored! Now I just need somebody to eat them so I dont!

Nothing, because every time I go to the supermarket the flour shelves are bare because of the bloody GBBO!

Last week I made raspberry ruffles. They were delicious!

I've just taken wee chocolate fairy cakes out the oven. Not sure how to ice them though.

Saw this in the Sainsbury's magazine

Made it as I had polenta that I bough but have not used.
Very nice

Didn't have thyme and basil to hand.
I did add a half tspn of paprika and a pinch of crushed chilli flakes.
They were mildly detectable flavourwise but no heat.
