I know this may seems like a silly question

How do I know which version of Netflix I am using....I.e. UK or USA or something else
It isn't a silly question at all. Netflix have never made it obvious what version of Netflix you are accessing if you are already logged in. If you are not logged in you have some indication by it saying join Netflix from said amount. But with $ meaning it could be US or Canada and EUR being numerous European Countries it still isn't completely obvious. Also the subtitle options are a little clue if it is a non English speaking Country.

Are these companies being threatened with legal action? After promising to fight these blocks they are now completely distancing themselves from anything connected to netflix,
I am unsure now whether using these services is still legal.

It sometimes help to know of a show or film unique to a certain region. For instance Ant Man is now on Canada only. So do a search for Ant Man and if it appears you know you are on Canada. If it does not show up then you are not on Canada. If you only ever use three of four countries this usually works.

Can anyone that uses ad-Free Time access either the website or app? I'm not able to use either atm and the app has gone from the Google store.
Definitely something wrong with ad-freetime. App on iPhone just disappears. I got into my account on my pc and under self service where all the netflix regions were there is now nothing. Just a blank page. However I was last on Canada Netflix and it still works so looks like I am literally stuck on Canada region. May try to E mail the support team.
I noticed it had gone awol last night, but hoped it might have been a temporary glitch and would be back up this morning.

@JEFF62 - be interested to see what, if any, response you get back.

Bit heavy handed of them, not everybody uses a vpn to circumvent region locking.. going to wait out the rest of my subscription and ditch. Its less hassle to download the few shows I like or wait for a box set.

Yes, it's back. Hopefully it was just some "maintenance" work going on!

Ipad - scroll to the bottom

Smart tv - settings / account

Look for 'Language'

GB/en = UK
US/en = US
BE/en = Belgium
CA/en = Canada

Something like that anyway. Sometimes its quicker by looking fir unique titles ie Deadwood is only on the Belgium Netflix

On the latest IOS version of Netflix it no longer tells you at the bottom what region you're in.

AD Free Time no longer working for me since last night, on both my PS4 & Samsung Bluray. If they don't fix it then I will have to look for another unblock service.

Last night mine was only showing the UK region content but when I looked on the self service tab the region unlock box was unchecked. I rechecked it and it has worked fine since.

Maybe try that.

That had already been checked thanks all the same . However upon loading up Self Service, this warning message did appear.

Netflix

Netflix rolled out a new method of blocking/detecting proxies that is proving harder to get around.
It looks like only about 30% of users are currently affected by this.
We are working around the clock to resolve this issue.

PLEASE DO NOT OPEN TICKETS REGARDING NETFLIX, WE ARE AWARE OF THE ISSUE

Hopefully they will be able to fix this

I am experiencing a problem with my netflix, i am using unblock us but the last two days netflix keeps disconnecting with with a message of 'your device may not be connected to the internet' even though my wifi connection is working fine.

I just seen a new message from netflix saying your are using a unblocker/proxy and to disable it before I can access netflix.

someone please help.

It works fine then, no problems. Now am trying to watch movie in mexico region and it literally keeps stopping after every 5 minutes. Its highly annoying.
