I am experiencing a problem with my netflix, i am using unblock us but the last two days netflix keeps disconnecting with with a message of 'your device may not be connected to the internet' even though my wifi connection is working fine.

I just seen a new message from netflix saying your are using a unblocker/proxy and to disable it before I can access netflix.

someone please help.
Not much anyone can do for you here, contact UnblockUs.

Under British law you are committing a civil tort accessing the stream in any way unless you either fall under a copyright exemption (not applicable here) or you have the permission of the copyright owner (or their agent). By not being in compliance with the terms and conditions of Netflix you have no such permission, and therefore are not acting in a lawful manner.
bet you were a proper grass at school

Is it any wonder people still torrent their shows when this kind of thing happens? You pay your sub fee and you still get called a pirate ffs. The idea of people in one country not being able to watch a show on the same site as others really is so idiotic.

Just tested it and all good at the moment. Changed region from USA to Canada. All working fine although I did have problems with it a couple of weeks back.

Not working for me. May give Getflix a try as I hear that's working for people and they have a free trial as well.

Getting a message saying proxy detected on Ad-Freetime today. So looks like NF have caught up with Ad-Freetime users now.

They have also caught up with getflix and unotelly i think the unblocking companies have pretty much lost the battle with netflix.

On a side note unotelly have decided to remove all of there apps of the itunes store and play store they have also removed there dynamo page from there website

Yes looks like game over. Ad-Freetime seemed to escape longer than others so I suppose it was inevitable. So I think I will cancel Ad-Freetime as I don't use it for anything else although there is the ad block I suppose. Will keep NF because UK has got some good stuff on there. Will miss Canada region the most.

Uno still working fine for me.

Dynamo has been replaced by 'Region Picker'

If you are having trouble accessing Netflix, please change Region Picker to US Test 2, US Test 3, or US Test 4 and let us know which one works for you.

Think it's just going to be a game of cat and mouse from now on. It will work for a while, Netflix will block it, the smart DNS providers will find a way round and on it goes.

I haven't really has any problems so far. I use the US netflix more than anything though, so maybe that's why?

The only thing that did happen is they changed the London DNS server address and I had to update my Samsung TV. Not that I was having any problems before the change.

The unblocking companies are going to have to raise there game i would imagine a lot of there business comes from people who only use netflix, i can see this being the death nail for some of these companies if they don't.

Depends on the company. Many get most of their custom from expats. If you're not an expat, you won't know what its like to be in another country and loose all the TV you grew up with and enjoy. It's one thing to be in the US or Australia where they speak English, but even then, watching the TV from back home helps expats connect again with their family and friends.

But it is a totally different thing being in a foreign language country. There are millions of expats out there, and that is just from the UK. Then there are all the other countries as well.

Netflix was definitely a big market, as it brought in a whole new type of subscriber, the cord cutter, but before that happened, many of these companies started up to help the expat market first.

Oh, and expats differ from cord cutters in one serious way. Cord cutters are fickle customers. Just read this thread, and you can see so many posts from people who experience problems for the first time and then switch providers immediately or threaten to go back to torrenting.

Whereas expats tend to be more loyal and stick with the smart DNS companies longer. After-all, they're not in it just to save a couple of bucks or watch their favourite show a day or week before their friends. Many of them are really thankful they have found a solution to their viewing needs and the chance to feel for a moment like they are back home. many are also not as technically savvy as the cord cutter, and will not look forward to finding another solution.

US region is working fine with Getflix (select 'United States TEST' on the region switcher). Some stuff on Canada also works but most of it seems to be blocked

Ad-Freetime stil working okay for me. However, I did notice that the DNS settings had altered from the ones I originally entered on my PS3 when I joined up. Have you changed these to see if it helps?

DNS settings
88.150.150.211 - primary
178.32.187.10

Yes I did try one of the other DNS settings but made no difference. I have now cancelled Ad-Freetime and am happy to just have Netflix Uk. And there are advantages. For one thing it starts chosen content quicker. Have had firstly Unblock for 18 months and Ad-Freetime for two years. I actually quite like the selection on the UK service. Just have to forget about other regions.

I am away from home at the moment, but when I get back I will be cancelling my VPN and stick to Netflix UK. However for everything else that isn't on Netflix UK, I will just continue to use alternative means on my Firestick and Android TV Box.

Recently decided to pay unblockus annually rather than monthly . Seems to be a bad decision as it is now blocked when using Netflix. Tried a rather complicated fix they sent me but have been unsuccessful
