That was sad to see Ross so emtional. Michael does a fantastic job by portraying his vulnerable side...

I thought this too. I think this will be a weird pairing but a pairing that would work well.
I did like the little scene they had when Ross asked Aaron about Jackson and how he coped. You could see Ross is still very much grieving for Donna.

Captain Ross

I can see Ross being a little of a background character for a while.

He was great in tonight's episode as well, plays bad soooo well and characterfull-and a great looker to boot

Ross is my favorite character on Emmerdale. That's all i got to say.

I've recently got into Emmerdale and Michael Parr is definitely one of the strongest actors on the show.

He seems to have amazing chemistry with all of his co-stars

Ross is currently my favourite character in all of soap, he's just wonderful. He's a dangerous, sexy, charismatic bad boy but dimensional, vulnerable and sympathetic. Also frequently a wonderful comedy character, like when he does his impressions and silly voices. And of course he's utterly charming and heart melting in his scenes with little April. Michael's a really good actor and obviously incredibly hot. What more could you ask for.
Judging by twitter he seems like a funny and a nice guy as well.

Ross is my favourite character at the mo in soaps too. It used to be Carla Connor in Corrie played by the talented Alison King but I just can't get interested anymore in it. I hope Alison King does well when she leaves.

Anyways, back to Ross. Tonight we find out if he really is the dad. I said in another thread that i think it's David. I think it was a bit of a smoke screen for the actor to come back just for those few episodes (and the one episode for Natalie Anderson).

I'm in two minds about this, if Ross does turn out to be the dad, this will give some amazing material for Michael to play. We will get to see him play Ross who will no doubt struggle to begin with being a dad. The other side is could Ross change and lose the bad boy persona. Hope not.

Michael Parr is brilliant as Ross Barton, such a good actor, looking forward to the big summer reveal think he'll be in the middle of it all

The more I see him, the more I think he might be the best actor there's been in soap. He really has great presence and can pull off a huge range of emotions.

Ross is my favourite character in soap right now. Michael Parr plays him brilliantly. I really believe in his character. I follow him on Twitter too, and he comes across as a really nice and funny guy.

Wonder if Michael is in the latest Attitude Hot 100? He certainly should be.

He was brilliant tonight! Loved his confrontation with Debbie outside the pub - a brilliant scene. He is in a lot of danger now though, I hope Cain doesn't get the better of him!

Well tonight started off well. Lots of Ross but then it got a bit meh when he was unconcious lol.

I'm sure MP had a lot of fun doing some stuff out of the ordinary though.

i'm getting more and more nervous that Ross is going to get killed.

It will be a real shame. Michael Parr is a fantastic actor.
