Apparently MP won't be back on Emmerdale until the 22nd October

So good to see him collect those awards. Well deserved.

August was the worst! I was certain Ross was alive but i hated not knowing for definite!

Yes! there was too many hints and theories that he was alive going about in August but was still a relief when he came back.

I think Mike could be there for a little while at least as there was a video talking about being a bit terrifying when the new producer comes in. Which we know isn't until the new year and their ideas and stories might not happen until a bit after that.

The spoiler for Ross coming back he's annoyed at Pete and Andy.

The spoiler you put for the 23rd I thinks is for the 16th which is before Ross comes back. I don't think if Ross did it they would give Pete the revelation before he returns.

I don't think Ross did it. Hope not. He's a bad boy but to shoot someone will surely give the character a short life span in the show.

Pete is getting close to Andy so it could be something to do with him.

I'm still thinking it may be Lachlan. Assuming the person who did it will be punished so could probably afford to lose someone like him.

I'm surprised a little last night that Andy wasn't as shocked as I thought he would be by what Pete did to Ross. I can see that he would maybe be understanding because of his hatred for his own brother but unless Andy shot Robert then it's a bit different wanting your brother dead and actually beating him and burying his body

Yeah it was a bit weird between those two.

It had me thinking though that Ross needs to interact with more with a male friend. We have had moments where he and Marlon have been pleasent after Donna's death. Maybe revisit that.

Now that the episode is played out I gotta say, whilst it is disappointing for the Robert storyline that the main instigator of the shooting is someone who has nothing really to do with Robert, they took Ross on a whole new villainous level! Michael Parr owned the episode and played it out to perfection imo.

I've read a few interviews from Michael Parr who made me think that he doesn't have to leave the show. I mean if Robert can stay in the show for killing Katie, Ross can certainly stay in the show for not killing Robert!

I agree. I don't think he'll be in the show for as long as some have, but I think hey may stick around for a couple more years. I like him so I'm glad, I am disappointed that Ross is the shooter, but I can't fault his acting.

Yeah. I watched a video from the Inside Soap Awards where he admitted to being nervous over the new producer so I am hoping that means he will stay for some time yet.

Over the weekend Michael Parr posted a video on his Instagram featuring Joe Gill. It looks like a dressing room so he must still be found filming. Charlie Webb is still filming too.

Good to hear. Hopefully he doesn't leave with Charley. Although his storyline haven't been great the past month or so, I'd hate to see him leave.

Emmerdale's Michael Parr has won another award - this time in his hometown
The actor picked up a prize at the Pride of St Helens Awards recently.

Emmerdale's Michael Parr just can't stop winning prizes at the moment, having had another successful night at the Pride of St Helens Awards.

The actor received the Imperial Arts Award at the ceremony, which took place in his hometown last Friday, the St Helens Star reports.

The news comes after he picked up Best Actor, Best Bad Boy and Sexiest Male at the Inside Soap Awards last month.

Parr, who plays Ross Barton on the soap, said of his Imperial Arts Award​: "I'm really grateful for this award and as always, it's great to be back here in the town.

"I want people to see St Helens as somewhere worth going to. I get fed up of describing it as somewhere between Liverpool and Manchester. I shouldn't have to."

He added: "There are so many talented people in the town, whether it's sport or the arts, we're really lucky."

​Meanwhile, the Emmerdale actor recently admitted that even after two years, he was still nervous when he heard about the show getting a new producer.​

MP was amazing throughout tonight's episode! ED really need to try to keep this guy for as long as they can! He's one of their best!
