For me I would say Lauren from Neighbours she defends her kid let them make there own mistake. She is caring mothering and she human makes her own mistakes as well as being there for her kids mistake.

Can be any soap and mother.

Ronnie.

When her baby gets older and goes to school I wouldn't like to be the child that bullies him/her.

Ronnie will walk on her knees and enrol in the same school to ensure no one so much as breathes on Genghis.

Shirley for me. She tries to teach her kids to swim early and make sure they're independent.

Controversial, but I think Bianca is a good mum when it comes to loving her kids and putting them first. She's not too great with discipline but you can't have everything.

I don't think we can say that any soap mother is perfect but obviously some are better than others.

I actually really like Anna Windass, She is a bit controlling/interfering but she's always there for her kids and dead caring. She's not as overbearing as some other soap mums.

I'm actually going to be a bit controversial and say I don't think Ronnie is going to be a great mum. She's way too controlling and especially since returning nothing about her has been maternal at all. I think she's going to struggle with parenthood.

I liked Tanya Branning, she made a lot of mistakes but generally had a good heart and good intentions with her kids.

I didn't like Zainab Masood as a mum, she was awful. She treated her kids like pokemon kids, dropping them in an instant when they did something she didn't agree with and then clearly favouring others when they did.

I don't think anyone on Hollyoaks is a great mum, Diane just sticks her head in the sand and lets her kids run around beating, raping and bullying the village, Myra was good in the early years until she began to persuade Mercedes to marry Riley just for the money (she went downhill after that IMO), Cindy is just selfish, Frankie is not much better, Theresa would rather party than look after her daughter, Sandy was similar to Diane in the fact that she would forgive her 'boys' anything and therefore they never had to face the consequences of their actions. Sinead was ok but let's be honest, after she got Katy back from Diane and before she got ill she barely bothered with her.

Amy Barnes was a good mum, especially as she had Leah when she was only 16 and came from such a crazy family.

I can't think of anyone else who sticks in my mind as being a particularly good or bad mother in any soap.

She wouldn't hit her children, he/she will be under her watch all the time though.

Claire Peacock seemed like a responsible and attentive mother either side of her PND.

I'd say Cindy Williams, because she hasn't had enough chance to eff up yet. But seriously I think Bianca and Kat are probably the best EastEnders mums as they have always been good to their kids and they haven't effed up mortally as some others.
