EastEnders - Why is Phil mad at Sharon?
Firegazer

Didn't he pay bouncers to scare her so he can regain control of her?

This whole Phil and Shirley thing is getting tedious. If it was me I'd dump the pair of them and go on holiday!

Phil is angry because he is arrogant, he thinks he can act however he wants, he can say and do what ever he wants, basically he enjoys making people's lives a misery but if someone does it back to him he can't take it. Basically he can dish it out but he can't take it.

phil is angry because he saw her with Marcus and knows she has been stealing.

If Shirley thought hard enough she would realise that Sharon has always been Phil's first choice. If Phil never discovered the truth about Sharon attempting to fleece him then he would be happily planning his wedding to the woman he actually loves. Phil at least loved Sharon at one point whereas Shirley is just his little bit of rough on the side.

If Shirley is fine with being Phil's second choice then more fool to her.

He didn't want to control her, just be part of her life. The bouncers were meant to stop things getting out of hand when those blokes came to trash the place, but she fired them. He did not set out to hurt her.
She deliberately set out to steal from him, and not for the first time. She'd already tried to take complete control of the bar. He's given her everything she's asked for but she always wants more.

Phil doesn't know that Sharon knows about the attack so in his mind is she was just stealing for no reason

He thinks she was stealing because of Dennis, that she only pretended to forgive him and has been deceiving him all this time.

That's why he believes Shirley when she says that Sharon must hate him. Phil doesn't know that Sharon knows about what happened at The Albert.

I don't have any sympathy for him but he has been used. If he wasn't loaded she wouldn't have touched him with a bargepole. Of course he's a user too so they deserve each other

It would have been sooooo much better if she'd brained him with a vodka bottle and burned the Arches down.

I want Ronnie to find out that Phil stole Roxy's money so she can turn on him and team up with Sharon to take him down.
