Morning.

Due to my slightly-OCD inability to miss a second Eastenders I just binge-watched over 40 episodes that had been saved up on my Sky box since July. It took me about a week. I feel like my head is going to explode a bit.

Anyway, I wonder if anyone can help me out with a couple of questions, please? I've been avoiding this forum for a while because I didn't want to get blatant spoilers.

1) The Jay robbery arrest - wtf? He was arrested for robbery and then released? Has he been charged? How did they identify him? Presumably somebody who knows him dobbed him in? And why the hell would he keep the beanie, specifically, all locked up in a box?

2) The Billy key-to-flat evidence. What the hell happened there? The fact that Billy had a key to the flat meant Jase was released? Why haven't they taken Billy in then? He was all terrified for a while and now he's just strolling around being 'best man'.

Have we got a thread that collates all the pieces of information and evidence about Lucy's murder? A lot has been revealed now but also, at the same time, I can't remember any of it.

Right, off to dunk my brain in some cold water...

Anyone? Or point me in the direction of the massive 'Lucy' thread, if there is one?

Phil provided Jay with an alibi so they let him off. When the guy who was robbed saw the video of the bus he recognised it as bring the person who robbed him so he spoke to the police again. They realised that his initial description matched a Jay Brown so they questioned him. (Yup that was quite a leap).

As for Billy that was seemingly dropped without them answering everything.

There is a thread around somewhere for clues in Lucy's killing.

Somewhat mad, yeah. I tend to save them up to watch when my husband is working away, but this time it got a bit out of hand. I still can't bring myself to skip them, though. The Sky box missed about 5 episodes, which must have been when the Commonwealth Games were on and they were showing on BBC2 (I didn't realise at the time) so I had to find them online somewhere.

I'd forgotten about Phil's alibi for Jay. It really is a bit of a massive leap for the police to just realise the description of the robber fitted Jay. There must be something/somebody else going on there or else it's a glaring hole that I'm not impressed with.

I did try searching for a Lucy thread but couldn't find one.
