Aah, the interview...looking forward to seeing it. With the final week of rehearsals starting today I think they all have enough time to get ready and deliver their best performances on Friday. I hope nothing will go wrong for Lauren in the next 2 months.

She will be fine I will try to stay positive this time and believe that she will stay healthy for 2 months, stay at 100% vocally and get noticed by label scouts.

It didn't take Cher Lloyd long to get Signd so howcome it's takeing a long time for Lauren and I hate to say it because I am a fan of Cher Lloyd but Lauren is better

I went through all of Cher's x factor performances just now to reply to this and hopefully figure out why I hated her during the show. If I have to guess I really disliked her as a person, her voice didn't impress me (I really like her Stay performance though) and I hated her rapping parts...I just hate rap. Cher got signed quickly probably because she is a good performer, she can definitely sing and she was more consistent than Lauren. Lauren is a better singer, but she unfortunately wasn't consistent and labels probably aren't sure about her yet or they don't care at the moment. She will have to do a great job on tour to convince them, but I am really only worried about her health.

And hopefully she won't have to sing Let it go But if she does, she should take more risks. I agree with you, both versions she sang have plenty of room for improvement. If she really has to sing only 3 songs then I hope for her sake that Let it go isn't one of them because she might screw it up again and the fans don't want that to happen. Or she might surprise everyone, she had plenty of time to rehears it so far. As long as people she works with there are honest and tell her if something doesn't sound right.

Thanks We've discussed Lauren on the Andrea Appreciation Thread and we all really hope she gets signed too. She has a lovely voice and is very pretty and was treated badly by Simon. We have the feeling that her and Andrea will both be snapped up - they're too talented not to (and we think that even though several of us are middle aged women lol #justsaying ).

Lauren and Andrea was pushed aside for Simon's pets imo.

Of course they were. Paul as well, that dementor comparison comment from Simon made things bad for him. I also think Louis was such a sore loser when Stereo kicks left because he was probably expecting Simon to vote for his group to return the favour for when Louis saved Jay instead of Paul. In my opinion he kind of messed it up for Andrea when he said that he is making those faces.


Nice to hear that not all middle aged women dislike Lauren, hehe Andrea is great, his Somebody to love version is probably my favourite performance of his (I love Queen).

Lauren is too talented and too beautiful to not be signed so it surprises me she hasnt. I guess the inconsistent performances have meant she hasnt been.

The people who said she shouldnt be signed cause she isnt a great dancer need a slap though as they are too blind to realise not everyone in this industry dances. Although Lauren clearly showed improvement and willingness in this department to prove she can and will dance in the future.

Good interview, 15 minutes flew by...I could have listened to that for an hour.

Quite a funny interview. Sounds very hopeful of getting signed, "some of us have been approached" does imply that one of the people approached is her. And talking about releasing first singles, and saying that you don't have to win to do well.... it's hard to believe there's been no offers.

I'm almost certain she's been told that either they will review her during the tour then sign her or they can't announce or sign her until after tour as she is still contracted with Simon
