From a review about last night: ....followed by 17- year-old Lauren Platt who delivers her hauntingly lovely rendition of Pharrell Williams’s Happy married with Massive Attack’s Teardrop, sounding so much better than remembered on TV, followed by Whitney anthem How Will I Know and Let It Go from Frozen, a song that needed no introduction among the younger members of the audience and mums and dads.

That is a possibility. As far as I know and I could be wrong about this, but only labels under Sony can sign acts while they are still under contract so other labels just have to wait, which is why I was hoping RCA would have signed her by now, but that probably won't happen (or they might, who knows). She doesn't have to sign to a label that is a part of Sony to start releasing her music and be successful.

But seriously Fleur could've improved like her fans are saying, but on the show she was awful, and Simon really had to push hard for her to bag 2nd place.

I agree, she can do better than that.
I think we are all now paranoid she won't be signed but when in the past she's been asked about signing for labels she made it seem she's actually had talks and that it depends on the tour

I won't lie, I am worried, but after hearing the great news about Andrea getting signed by the RCA I believe anything can happen in the next month and perhaps she will also get picked up by someone before this tour is over. I am sure she will get signed, even if an indie label ends up signing her at some point in the next few months.
This line from an article dia6olo linked on the tour thread give me more hope that she could end up with a major label (My source added: “A lot of last year’s finalists will enter talks with major labels about a deal when the tour finishes.”).

I think she may have to wait till the tour has finished, because syco may still have their eye on her. It will happen though, there's no way her potential will go unnoticed!

I can be very impatient sometimes, but I will have to get things sorted out in my head and prepare to calmly wait until it finally happens I think. Currently all this waiting and worrying is killing me

Believe me, I know how you feel! Waiting to hear the news on Andrea was killing me but it all becomes so worth it when you finally get it in print! I think both Andrea and Lauren will have a very busy year ahead
