What do you mean amateur edits?

She doesn't have to always go to someone to record a cover with all the fancy equipment.

We would also like her to simply sing in front of her camera and do a homemade video. It may not sound as good but we would hear her natural voice and she would get more covers out for the record labels To see

Not saying we hear her unnatural voice behind professionally made covers but she can afford to do that once every few months by the looks of it and that isn't realeasing enough quick enough to get noticed.

However this new show should give her more money to do it

Exactly Rob. She should have been doing those quick covers of the songs with her just sitting in front of the camera and singing. I am sure she could very easily make at least 1 cover per week that way if she really wanted to. I will just assume that other things were a priority (like this show) and that she might start doing covers after she is done filming.

I really like that song too, Lauren does sound a lot like her that's why I believe that she could cover that song.

I was at the gym yesterday and I heard clarity by zedd come on I thought it was Lauren at first because it sounds a lot like her however it wasn't

So apparently Lauren might give the career as a TV presenter a priority? It is a great chance for her so I hope this works out well and she gets more offers in the future. At least this kind of explains why it seemed to me like she doesn't want to do anything about her singing career.
Maybe this break from singing will be good for her, she was ill too many times, but I really hope this isn't the end and that we will hear her on the radio one day in the future.

I am really surprised about Lauren not being signed, because I thought she would have been. Normally a fourth place gets signed, well apart from 2009 when Danyl wasn't signed. Shame on the record companies for not taking a chance on Lauren.

Its been too long now. If she was going to be signed she'd have been a while back.

I believe she is moving towards the TV Presenting route now. If this show on CBBC works out they'll give her another series and other shows will be inviting her on to do some work with them. It will open up other avenues for her. I truly believe she is going the TV route now. She will be known for it.

Im not saying she will give up singing. She will do covers for her fans on youtube and maybe release them on itunes but i dont think she will be a full time proper singer. Presenting is her future and i wish her luck. Maybe one day if she gets real good she'll host the x factor. Doubt it but you never know
