I am still here I just couldn't find the time to check out the forum or even Lauren's twitter in the last 2 weeks, there have been too many other things on my mind lately.

I am glad to hear that she is able to find time to be in a proper studio, I wonder what she will come up with If she is working on the next cover, I hope it turns out to be even better than her first one. Fingers crossed that we will have the pleasure of hearing it in less than 2 months lol.


Yup, so was I, she definitely deserved a chance. Perhaps it will happen one day, who knows.

This series is really missing a subtle act like Lauren.

I'm hoping that someone like Josh or Kiera can fill the void without hitting the danger of being boring like some subtle acts can hit sometimes.

If Lauren melted down at Judges Houses the way that she did in her series then no she wouldn't have made the lives.

At the lives is yet to be seen as Lauren can control her voice a lot better than these belty types that they've got going on this year with the exception of Kiera.

Watching Ben Haenow yesterday i still am of the opinion that andrea and lauren are or were much better potential artists than him. lauren can sing, shes beautiful and fit, she does seem to have a much bigger personality than originally presented. only thing ben has over her is getting a crowd going.

Honestly in terms of personality i think it was nerves that originally hid her personality. As she got more confident it came out more until she got criticised for dancing and the pressure grew. since the show has finished she seems to be a really interesting, exciting person

So you can call me creepy if you want but I had one of my favourite ever dreams today.

Right it may sound creepy but remember I never planned for this dream.

I dreamt that me and Lauren started dating but it was only the start and that we had a family meal with Her parents and then they came and met mine

Finished off with her mum saying they will come to our next family event to get to us all more

Then I woke up like an hour before I was meant to and I was like nooooooo

So I just heard her new cover. It is a good cover, I like it and I think I can hear parts of her voice that I love, but something doesn't seem right, too edited perhaps as Rob said? I think her first cover sounded more like what she used to sound like on the x factor, which is probably why I prefer it to this one.

Finally a new song! I've bad-mouthed Lauren a bit tbh, calling her a spoiled teenager. I still think that 8 months after the tour she should have more to show for herself than 2 covers, some make-up videos and a CBBC gig.

But the cover's great and I've listened to it all morning. This is still my favourite singing voice, one of the very few people I can listen to over and over again. I wish the God-given singing talent had gone to somebody that bit more dedicated; let's just hope she finally stops the holidays, stops the product placements, and gets making music.

I can see what you mean. I mean i really like her as a person. She shows way more personality now than she did a year ago. I believe she would be liked more if she was a little more confident.

I do think she has been used to getting a lot of help in her life, i do believe shes used to getting things put in front of her. We have to remember this is probably the first time she has to take care of herself and the first time she has to take responsibility of her career. I mean when i was 18 i dont think i could have done anything without the guidance of my family.

Only now in the last couple of years have i been making the decisions on my life by myself.

I do agree she does need to start thinking why didnt i get signed, what needs to go from here. I then hope she realises she needs to make more effort of doing covers on youtube, singing on the streets, etc. and yes she needs to rest on the holidays. she must have been on like 5 in 2015 lol.

She just needs that little bit of experience to give her that advice. she must have a management team who helps her and if not why arent they

I hope it works out for her as i think shes a lovely, funny person. She is so much more interesting than what i remember. She just has been approaching it the wrong way and needs experience
