I think her new cover is just okay, I don't really like that song for some reason (she seems to be choosing songs that I've never heard before ). After listening to Young blood a few more times (I only listened to it once before because something didn't sound right to me) I like it a bit more now and prefer it to this latest cover as well.

I got no favourites this year because Simon sent both of my favourites out last night
I had high hopes for Lauren and had a look on her Twitter page to see if she was planning on releasing music. Instead, there are youtube blogging links. What a wasted talent. She has a good voice, so why waste time on rubbish video blogs, rather than singing?

I can't understand it either. She is still one of my favourite voices in the whole music business. Yet she seems to have decided to bury her talent and do silly makeup videos and kids tv shows instead. Why I don't know. It's strange, I'm not sure if she has ever explained exactly why she stopped pursuing music.
