Hello to the Easties fans and casual lurkers who may or not be reading this. I've tried my hand at Fantasy EastEnders many times before, but for whatever reason I've not continued with it. My last attempt was in April I believe, so now feels like as good a time as any to give it another shot.
I have some really exciting (in my opinion) stories planned, and although the first couple of episodes may seem very similar to the real show I promise I will try and get my vision across very quickly. I hope if you do decide to read this you enjoy it, I'm having a lot of fun writing and planning it.
EastEnders confirm Treadwell-Collins' departure, reveal new executive producer
Bosses at EastEnders finally confirmed today that Dominic Treadwell-Collins has stepped down from his position as executive producer at EastEnders after a year in the role.
Treadwell Collins took over from Lorraine Newman in the role in August last year, with his first episode airing in December. He brought back several popular characters, and created some very popular storylines, including the ongoing Who Killed Lucy Beale? plot.
However, many fans believed that he had stepped down from the role a while ago after noticing a change in the show's direction, and it has today been confirmed he left the role two months ago, and the work shown last week was his last.
From tonight's (Monday 22nd) episode, the name of new executive producer dancing.queen will be appearing on the credits.
dancing.queen said: "I have been a big fan of EastEnders as long as I can remember, and I'm delighted to now be able to confirm that I am working as the executive producer of it."
"I have some big plans for the show, so watch out Walford!"
EastEnders continues tonight at 8PM.

But hopefully it'll be the last episode that is similar! There'll be a number of cast changes announced in the next few days as I put my own mark on the show.
