Fantasy EastEnders by dancing.queen

Hello to the Easties fans and casual lurkers who may or not be reading this. I've tried my hand at Fantasy EastEnders many times before, but for whatever reason I've not continued with it. My last attempt was in April I believe, so now feels like as good a time as any to give it another shot.

I have some really exciting (in my opinion) stories planned, and although the first couple of episodes may seem very similar to the real show I promise I will try and get my vision across very quickly. I hope if you do decide to read this you enjoy it, I'm having a lot of fun writing and planning it.

EastEnders confirm Treadwell-Collins' departure, reveal new executive producer
Bosses at EastEnders finally confirmed today that Dominic Treadwell-Collins has stepped down from his position as executive producer at EastEnders after a year in the role.

Treadwell Collins took over from Lorraine Newman in the role in August last year, with his first episode airing in December. He brought back several popular characters, and created some very popular storylines, including the ongoing Who Killed Lucy Beale? plot.

However, many fans believed that he had stepped down from the role a while ago after noticing a change in the show's direction, and it has today been confirmed he left the role two months ago, and the work shown last week was his last.

From tonight's (Monday 22nd) episode, the name of new executive producer dancing.queen will be appearing on the credits.

dancing.queen said: "I have been a big fan of EastEnders as long as I can remember, and I'm delighted to now be able to confirm that I am working as the executive producer of it."

"I have some big plans for the show, so watch out Walford!"

EastEnders continues tonight at 8PM.

The first episode will be up at 8, I have a feeling it will be very similar to the episode aired on screen tonight. But hopefully it'll be the last episode that is similar! There'll be a number of cast changes announced in the next few days as I put my own mark on the show.

Billy arrives at the Mitchell’s house bright and early. Billy apologises to Sharon and tells her he’s going to have to take Phil off her hands for the day as it is his stag. Sharon tells Billy that he can have Phil for as long as he wants, as long as he comes back in one piece without a tattoo. Billy tells Sharon he can’t promise her anything. Phil comes downstairs and asks Billy what he’s doing there. Billy says Phil can’t have forgotten, it’s his Stag Do. Phil tells Billy he didn’t want a Stag in the first place, but Sharon tells Phil not to be such a spoil sport and if she can endure a Hen, he can endure a Stag. Phil reminds Sharon that she ran out of her hen do. Sharon says she’s got to go, as Linda and Roxy are waiting for her at the dress shop for her final dress fitting. Sharon leaves, and Billy says he’ll call the lads. Phil sarcastically says he can’t wait.

Stacey is having a private phone call in the car lot when Max walks in. She quickly hangs up the phone and Max asks her who she was talking to. Stacey says it was no one, and Max says he doesn’t pay her to gossip. Stacey asks Max what she actually is paid for, because to her it seems like all she ever does is answer the phone and tidy up Max’s papers. Stacey says she would like a bit more responsibility. Max says if she wants more responsibility, fine, she can go and buy him some fags from the Minute Mart as he’s all out. Stacey shakes her head and calls Max unbelievable.

Back at The Mitchell’s, Billy, Phil, Fatboy, Dexter, Mick, Masood and Les all wait around in the living room drinking some beers. Phil is visibly unhappy to be there, and asks Billy if his entire stag is going to be spent in his own living room. There is a knock at the door, and Phil is shocked to see Jay there. Phil tells Jay he’s surprised to see him, and Jay tells Phil he’s there for Billy, not him. Phil and Jay enter the living room to see the lads wearing masks of Phil’s various exes. Phil is furious and tells them to take the masks off immediately. Phil asks them whose idea this was, and they all point to Billy. Phil says he knew he shouldn’t have put the village idiot in charge of his stag do. Billy tells the boys he has arranged for them to go to a strip club, and Phil says that he is 50, not 15. The other lads however, are delighted at the idea. Phil hands Billy a wad of cash and tells them all to enjoy themselves, but he won’t be going with them. They all get up and leave, apart from Jay who says he has a surprise for Phil.

Stacey arrives at the Minute Mart and asks Shabnam for a packet of Max’s usual. Tosh enters and says she’s surprised that Stacey is buying cigarettes, especially after the fire. Stacey asks Tosh what she’s on about, the fire was caused by an electrical fault. Tosh asks Stacey if Alfie told her that, and Stacey says he did. Tosh tells Stacey that she is mates with the fire inspector, and that the real cause of the fire was a cigarette in a bin. Stacey hands Shabnam the money for Max’s cigarettes and barges past Tosh. Tosh tells Shabnam that it looks like the local hero has some explaining to do…

At the dress shop, Linda and Roxy wait patiently as Sharon tries her dress on. Linda tells Roxy that she can’t believe that Sharon is going through with it, and Roxy says she could say the same about Phil. Roxy says she always thought that Phil would end up marrying Shirley, not Sharon. Linda laughs and says that Phil’s had a lucky escape. Sharon pulls back the curtain and Linda and Roxy say she looks beautiful in her white gown. Linda says it’s a good job she’s wearing waterproof mascara. Roxy notices the lack of enthusiasm on Sharon’s face and asks her if she likes the dress, Sharon fakes a smile and says she loves it.

Stacey arrives back at the car lot and hands Max his cigarettes. She tells him she’s taking the rest of the afternoon off, and grabs her coat and bag. Max says she can’t, and Stacey lies and tells him she’s off to the hospital to see Kat.

Shabnam is selling Tamwar a newspaper in the Minute Mart when she sees Stacey storm past, she tells Tamwar to cover for her and then heads off after Stacey.

Stacey arrives at the Masood’s and bangs on the door screaming for Alfie, Alfie is asleep on the sofa and is awoken by the noise. In a daze, he gets up and opens the door. Stacey barges past him and asks him why he lied about the cause of the fire. A nosy Shabnam enters the house silently and listens to Stacey and Alfie arguing. Alfie says he didn’t lie about the fire, and Stacey says that’s funny because Tosh seems to believe the real reason the fire started was because of a cigarette. Alfie says that his heads all over the place at the minute, maybe he got a bit confused and that’s why he told Stacey it was an electrical fault. Stacey says she could believe that, if anyone in the house smoked in the first place. Shabnam interrupts and says that the police are here to speak to Alfie. Stacey and Alfie are shocked when DI Keeble arrests Alfie for arson and is led out of the house by the police.

Roxy, Linda and Sharon are arriving back in the Square in the cab when they see Alfie being led away in handcuffs. Roxy rushes out to see what’s going on. Alone in the cab, Linda asks Sharon if she’s sure she wants to go through with the wedding. Sharon says she is, but Linda says from her face in the dress shop it looked like it was more than just her dress that she didn’t like.

The police car drives past, and Tosh smirks in the distance.

In The Arches, Phil is sat with his back to the door and tells Jay he’s bored of waiting for his surprise. At that moment, the door opens. Phil says if this is a stripper Jay’s dead, he spins his chair around to see Ben stood in the doorway.

I'm really glad you enjoyed! Tomorrow's episode is definitely the first time you'll see me putting my stamp on the show. Tosh is a character that I'm really keen to explore in the future, she may be a bitch but I want to show why she is a bitch. That's coming up soon.

Phil is shocked to see Ben, and Ben says hello. Phil bursts into tears as does Ben, and they have an emotional hug. Jay tells Phil and Ben he’ll leave them to it, and exits The Arches. Once alone, Ben pushes Phil away from him and tells him to get away. Phil is confused, and Ben tells Phil that he never wanted to see his face again. Phil asks Ben why he came back if that was the case, and Ben says he did it for Jay, and also because he wants to stop Phil from marrying that stupid tart Sharon.

Phil asks Ben what he means, and Ben says he knows that Phil doesn’t really love Sharon. Phil says he does, but Ben says that he knows about Phil and Shirley. Ben tells Phil that when he was in prison he had a lot of time to think, and all he could think about was how much he messed up, and how one mistake has ruined his life forever. Ben says that he doesn’t want his Dad to know him as a murderer, which is why he never wanted to see him again. Ben then says that he came back to stop Phil from messing up like he did. Phil tells Ben that he will never know Ben as anything but his son.

Alfie is sat waiting to be questioned at the police station. DI Keeble enters and starts the interview. Keeble tells Alfie that as she’s sure he’s aware, there was a fire a week ago at 23 Albert Square, a fire that seems to have been caused by a cigarette. Keeble asks Alfie if he smokes, and Alfie says that he has an occasional smoke every now and then when under stress. Keeble asks Alfie if anyone knows about this habit, and Alfie says that no one does. Keeble asks Alfie where he usually gets his cigarettes from, and Alfie says the Minute Mart. Keeble asks Alfie if they were to ask the staff at the Minute Mart, would they be able to confirm this fact and Alfie says they would. Keeble nods to her colleague who gets up and exits the room.

Ben asks Phil why he’s marrying a woman that he doesn’t love, and Phil tells Ben that he’s not going to marry Sharon. Phil says that Sharon has been trying to con him for everything he owns, and this is his way of getting revenge. Ben asks Phil what he’s going to do when he gets up the aisle, and Phil says he’s going to tell everyone what a conniving bitch Sharon really is. Ben asks and then what, are he and Shirley are just going to sail off into the sunset. Phil says he doesn’t know what to do about Shirley. Ben asks Phil if he loves her, and Phil says he doesn’t know. Phil says that one thing is for certain, he loves Ben. Phil asks Ben to stick around, and Ben says he can’t. Phil asks why not, and Ben says that no one will be able to look at him the same. Phil tells Ben that Stacey Slater killed Archie, and yet she’s back on the Square living her life, there’s no reason Ben can’t do the same. Ben says that Archie was evil, unlike Heather, and besides Shirley is still on the Square. Phil stands up and tells Ben to get up as well. Phil tells Ben that they’re going to sort things with Shirley so that Ben can come back to the Square once and for all.

Back in the interview room, Keeble’s colleague comes back in and whispers to Keeble. Keeble tells Alfie that they have spoken to the staff at the Minute Mart and none of them have been able to confirm that Alfie has ever purchased cigarettes from there before. Alfie sighs and bites his lip. Keeble tells Alfie that they know he was turned down by the bank after trying to get a loan just days before the fire started. Keeble also tells Alfie that they know that he and his family were due to be evicted after falling behind on the rent. Keeble then pulls out an evidence bag and hands it to Alfie. In the bag is the picture of Nana Moon that once hang upon the wall in the Moon’s house. Keeble asks Alfie if he knows the woman in the picture and Alfie nods. Keeble asks Alfie why he was captured on CCTV hiding the photo of his Nana on the market just minutes before the explosion at his home. Alfie breaks down in tears and sobs that he did it.

Phil and Ben arrive at the door of The Vic, and Phil prepares to push the door open. Ben freezes and says that he can’t do this. Phil tells Ben that unless he faces up to this now, he’ll never be able to fully forgive himself for what he’s done. Ben nods and enters The Vic. Abi is putting the rubbish out at the Branning’s, and is shocked to see Ben.

Mick, Shirley and Nancy are working at the bar when Shirley spots Ben and Phil. Shirley screams at Ben to get out, and hurls a glass at him. The glass misses and smashes against the wall. Mick tells Shirley to calm down, and Shirley screams that he’s the one who killed Heather. Phil says that Ben wants to come and make amends with Shirley, and Shirley says the only way she’ll ever forgive Ben is if he brings Heather back to life. Shirley wails, and Mick tells Ben that he should go. Ben says that he is not leaving until he’s spoken to Shirley. Dean stands up, but Lauren grabs his arm and pulls him back down.

Ben points to Stacey, who is sat in the corner of the pub and says that she killed a man right here in this very pub, yet she’s still back living her life. Ben says that all he wants his to get his life back, and to be home where he belongs with his family. Shirley screams that Archie raped Stacey, and asks Ben what Heather ever did to him. Ben says that he made one mistake, and he’s going to have to live with that for the rest of his life but he isn’t prepared to punish himself for it anymore. Ben says that he’s staying on the Square, and tells Shirley she best get used to it. Ben then leaves the pub, followed by Phil. Mick hushes Shirley and Lauren asks Staceyif she’s okay.

In the police station, Alfie sits in a cell with tears running down his face having been charged with arson.

EastEnders air shock twist in Alfie Moon storyline
Viewers of EastEnders were left shocked tonight, as Alfie Moon was charged with arson following the fire at his home.

The episode saw Alfie confess to the crime after lying his way into a corner. With nowhere to escape, Alfie confessed that he was the one who started the fire which caused Kat's life changing injuries.

The shock twist had many fans speculating whether or not Alfie would be departing the soap now he is locked up for his crime.

We can exclusively reveal that Shane Richie, who plays Alfie, has filmed his final scenes with the programme to be aired in the coming weeks.

RIchie commented: "Alfie is a character I have loved playing from day one, I have been challenged as an actor in the role many times before, but never as much as during the fire story."

"I am privileged to have spent the past few years of my life working on the show, and I hope one day that Alfie will be able to return the the Square."

"His final scenes are very emotional, and I can't wait to see them play out on screen."

EastEnders continues on Thursday at 7:30pm.

Sharon and Phil argue over Ben at the breakfast table as Denny plays on his games console. Unbeknownst to them, Ben is sat on the stairs and can hear every word being said. Sharon tells Phil that she doesn’t want Denny living under the same roof as a murderer, and Phil says that Ben is hardly a risk to Denny. Sharon says that Phil doesn’t know that. Phil tells Sharon that they are supposed to be getting married tomorrow, and she is going to be Ben’s stepmum. Phil tells Sharon that if she can’t accept that, then maybe they should call the wedding off. Ben storms out of the house and Phil chases after him, and tells Sharon to look at what she’s done now.

Ben storms across the Square and Phil chases after him. Ben almost bumps into Stacey, who is staring at the burnt out shell of the Moon’s home. As Stacey stares at the house, a taxi pulls up next to her. Stacey is delighted when she hears her Mum’s voice, and turns around to see Jean and Ollie with a number of bags. Stacey gives Jean a hug.

Shirley sits at the table in The Vic necking vodka straight from the bottle. Linda enters and says that this is early to be drinking, even for Shirley. Shirley says doesn’t Linda have some favours to organise or something. Linda tells Shirley that she isn’t going to let her ruin Phil and Sharon’s big day, and just because she’s miserable it doesn’t mean it’s fair to make them miserable as well.

In the prison, Alfie enters the visiting room to see Mick sat down. Mick gives Alfie a small smile, and Alfie sits down opposite him. Mick asks Alfie what he was thinking confessing to starting the fire, and Alfie says that he couldn’t cope with the guilt anymore. Alfie says that Keeble knew, and Mick says that she didn’t know – it’s her job to make people feel guilty in hope they crack just like he did. Alfie tells Mick that he isn’t scared of doing bird, but he doesn’t know how he’s going to cope knowing that Kat hates him. Mick tells Alfie that Kat doesn’t hate him, it’s just going to take her some time to come round. Mick says that it’s been a shock for her, and all Alfie has to do is wait and show her he loves her. Alfie asks Mick how he’s supposed to show her he loves her whilst he’s locked up, and Mick says he’s Alfie Moon, he’ll find a way – he always finds a way.

Ollie pays Marie in the café and heads over to Stacey and Jean with some cups of tea. Ollie sits down and Stacey asks what Jean and Ollie are doing back in the Square. Ollie tells Stacey that they have purchased number 29, and they were going to move in on Stacey’s birthday but as soon as Jean heard about the fire she insisted they moved straight away. Jean tells Stacey that there’ll be room for all of them, her, Lily, Mo, Kat, Alfie… and Stacey says that Alfie won’t be needing a roof over his head for a while. Jean asks why not, and Stacey tells Jean and Ollie that it was him who started the fire in the first place. Jean and Ollie are both shocked, and Ollie asks why. Stacey says it was all for some poxy insurance claim. Jean asks Stacey how Kat’s taken it, and Stacey tells Jean that Mo told Kat last night, and since then she’s refused to sleep, drink and eat and hasn’t spoken to anyone. Jean says she knows what will cheer Kat up, and Stacey says that sausage surprise isn’t going to make Kat feel any better about the fact that Alfie almost killed her.

Ben and Phil sit on the swings in the playground. Ben says that it’s weird being back on the Square, and Phil says he’ll get used to it eventually. Ben breaks down and says that he wishes things could be different. Phil comforts Ben and says that he blames himself, maybe if he’d have brought him up better none of this would have happened. Ben tells Phil that he would never blame his actions on him, and says that Phil did a good job. Phil tells Ben that he’ll speak to Sharon again, and Ben says there’s no point because this time tomorrow she’ll be gone. Phil doesn’t reply, and Ben asks Phil if he’s having second thoughts. Phil says he doesn’t know what he’s going to do anymore.

Jean is furious when she spots Pam working on the market. Jean says that she was gone 5 minutes and Pam’s already stolen her pitch. Pam says it wasn’t like that, but Jean says she knows Pam’s game. Jean tells Pam that she was always deliberately undercutting her prices when she worked on Spring Lane, trying to steal her customers. Jean grabs a bunch of flowers and storms off without paying. Ollie apologises for Jean’s behaviour and pays Pam for the flowers. Stacey asks Ollie ifJean is taking her medication, and Ollie says she is. Stacey asks Ollie if he thinks it’s a bit weird that Jean’s just found out that Alfie is in prison for burning the house down, and all she cares about is a market stall.

Abi storms into the pub and sees Jay and Dexter. Abi asks Jay if he’s been avoiding her, and Jay says he hasn’t. Abi tells Jay that she knows Ben’s back, and she’s guessing that he did as well. Jay tells Abi that Ben didn’t want anyone to know, and Abi says that she is his girlfriend. Jay says that he was just protecting a mate, and Abi asks Ben if she comes second to his mates now. Jay tells Abi she’s being childish, and Abi tells Jay that they shouldn’t have secrets. Abi tells Jay that she’s not going to the wedding with him, she’s going to go to Uni and if he doesn’t go with her then she’ll go on her own.

Sharon looks out of the window and sees Phil and Ben walking towards the house. She takes a look at the gun in her hands, and quickly shoves it into her bag. Phil enters and smiles at her, and Sharon smiles back.

Sharon wakes up on Dot’s sofa. She looks around the room and sees her wedding dress hung up on the door. Sharon stares at it for a moment or two and Dot enters the room. Dot asks Sharon if she wants a cup of tea to settle her wedding day nerves, and Sharon asks Dot if she has anything a little bit stronger.

At the Mitchell’s house, Ben, Billy, Jay, Dennis and Phil are all in the kitchen. Phil receives a text from Shirley saying ‘Don’t do it’, Phil ignores it and puts the phone back into his pocket. Ben asks Billy if Lola and Lexi are going to the wedding, and Billy tells Ben that Lexi isn’t well so neither will be going. Ben]looks at Jay and sighs. There is a knock at the door and Phil goes to answer it, he is surprised to see Ronnie and Aunt Sal standing on the door step.

Dot and Sharon sit at the kitchen table, and Dot tells Sharon that she thought pigs would fly before Phil and Sharon would make it up the aisle. Sharon tells Dot that no one is more surprised that the wedding is going ahead then she is, and Dot asks Sharon if she’s sure she is doing the right thing. Before Sharon can answer, the doorbell rings and Dot gets up to answer it. Dot opens the door and Linda and Roxy enter. Linda is angry when she sees that Dean isn’t there as he was supposed to have arrived 5 minutes ago, but Sharon tells Linda to give him a break saying they have plenty of time before the I do’s.

Billy hands Aunt Sal a slice of burnt toast, and Aunt Sal says that Billy never could do anything right. Sal tells Ben that he’s definitely a Mitchell, saying that it seems that a stretch in prison seems to be a family requirement. Jay asks Sal if she had a nice flight, and Sal says it would have been better had she not been sat next to a piece of peroxide. The laughter in the kitchen can be heard from the living room, where Ronnie and Phil are sat. Phil tells Ronnie that she’s looking well, and Ronnie says she feels it. Phil asks Ronnie how she disposed of the gun, and Ronnie is surprised and says that she thought Phil would have got rid of it. Phil asks Ronnie what she means, and Ronnie says she left the gun in a bag in the kitchen. A look of horror creeps upon Phil’s face…

Dean arrives to do Sharon’s hair, and Linda asks him what took so long. Dean says he got a bit held up with Lauren, and Roxy says that if she was Lauren she would never want to let Dean go either. Sharon tells Roxy to behave, and Dot takes Roxy’s wine off of her, saying that the last thing Sharon wants if for one of her bridesmaids to be drunk.

Ronnie and Phil frantically search the house for the gun. Phil says that he can’t believe Ronnie would just leave a gun in the middle of his kitchen, saying that Denny could have it thinking it’s a toy for all they know. Ronnie tells Phil that if Denny had it, surely he would have fired it by now. Phil says that Ronnie better prey that they find the gun before anyone else does. Billy enters the bedroom and asks Ronnie and Phil what they’re doing. Phil says that they are looking for the rings, and Billy says that he has them. Billy tells Phil he should start getting ready, and Phil agrees and says he’ll be down in a second. Billy leaves, and Phil whispers to Ronnie that he doesn’t want to see her again until she has found the gun and got rid of it. Phil then leaves.

Sharon admires her hair do in the mirror, and thanks Dean for doing it saying it’s perfect. Sharon asks Linda what she thinks, and Linda tells Sharon that her hair would look beautiful no matter who did it. Linda tells Sharon she’ll go check that everything is coming along at The Vic, and Sharon gets up and tells Linda she has a surprise for her. Sharon goes in her bag and looks at the gun, she then pulls out a box and hands it to Linda. Linda opens the box and is delighted to see some pearl earings, Sharon says they’re just a little thank you for all the hard work Linda has put in. Sharon and Linda hug, and Roxy rolls her eyes. As Linda leaves, a cab pulls up and Ian steps out. Ian says hello to Linda, but Linda says she can’t stop as she’s busy and rushes away. Ian walks into Dot’s house and Sharon is delighted to see him.

In The Vic, Mick tells Johnny, Nancy and Lee how important it is that they get things right today for their Mum. Nancy says that it’s not even Linda who’s getting married, and Mick tells Nancy that he think Linda has forgotten its Sharon’s wedding not hers. Linda rushes in and Mick says Linda’s ears must have been burning. Linda asks Mick how everything’s going, and Mick says its fine. Linda says that fine is not good enough saying that today has to be perfect.

Ian and Sharon sit in the living room at Dot’s, and Ian asks Sharon if she’s sure she’s doing the right thing marrying Phil. Sharon says she doesn’t know, and Ian asks Sharon if she loves him. Sharon says she does, but she doesn’t know whether it’s enough. Ian asks Sharon what she means, and Sharon blurts out that Phil ordered the attack on The Albert. Ian is shocked and asks Sharon what she’s still doing with him, and Sharon then reveals that she was going to take Phil for everything that he had, but she couldn’t go through with it. Ian asks Sharon why not, and Sharon says that she loves him too much. Ian tells Sharon that if Sharon really loves Phil, she’ll tell him everything. Sharon says she can’t, and Ian tells her to trust him, saying that he knows more than anyone that a relationship with secrets is never going to work out. Sharon thanks Ian and grabs her handbag, saying that’s exactly what she’s going to do.

From the upstairs in The Vic, Shirley watches as Sharon rushes across the Square. Shirley is holding her phone in her hand and clicks play on a video. Shirley smirks as the recording plays, in which Phil confesses that he loves Shirley not Sharon.
