As for copying Emmerdale, Tyrone in Coronation Street had this long before they did. EastEnders had it with the husband of the Miller family (forgotten his name now!) and Brookside have also done it all before. It's just one of those things that pop up every now and again. |

Faye tracked Tim down using Facebook and Tim has also sent texts on his mobile phone.
So does seem a bit strange to now find he can't read. |

The written part of a driving test didn't come into practice until 1996 so he is old enough to have sat his test before that. You had to read and learn the Highway Code but you could get away with just knowing what the signs meant without reading them. My dad's dyslexic. He wasn't diagnosed as that at the time but managed to pass his test first time in the 1970s just on instinct without having much reading or writing skills. He learnt how to read and write and sat the theory test when he was older.

Anna takes a look through Faye's laptop to find she's been chatting to someone a lot older than her.
September 13, 2013 Sally is hurt when she receives a dismissive text from Tim, who clearly doesn't feel any guilt about standing her up - See more at: http://www.corrieblog.tv/corrie_spoi....LX9cSFeY.dpuf |

Do Corrie just pick their storylines out of a hat or something? They don't seem to match up to the characters these days.

Coronation street is a dull, boring show with recycled and uninteresting storylines, uninteresting and horrible characters characters, and cheap and tatty sets...
Emmerdale on the other hand, is full of drama, amazing characters, gripping storylines, and is like watching a US drama, when they have something big going on. Itv need to get their priorities straight, and stop favouring their precious coronation street... |
