Gosh, how annoying was Moira tonight ?
You'd think Adam was going to the electric chair the way she was bleating on.

If you can't do the time _ DON'T do the crime.

Moira is such a whining bi*ch.

Is 9 months, with time off for good behaviour, not quite a mild punishment?

I love feisty Moira too. I did like her going for Pete, he was a bit insensitive IMO and the look on her face was as if her Iris's went all black, just scanning the room with her bottle of wine and a look of menace. She wouldn't look out of place in MacBeth.

I don't understand Moira at all, Cain arrived in the kitchen, had obviously come from the bedroom and asked why she'd got up so early and not even made his breakfast yet.

Is the woman demented? Cain Dingle was in her bed and she chose to go sit at the kitchen table

Moíra and Adam have been through thick and thin together, I'm not surprised that she upset that her boy has been locked up

How did everyone expect her to react? If she just gone to the pub for a quiet drink with her husband she would be getting rubbished for that as well

Hopefully Adam will grow up while he's in there and won't be such a brat when he gets out - here's hoping anyway

Agree with this really. It was a bit hard going but Moira isn't the type of character to just brush off that one of her kids is in prison, however long it's for. Glad they showed that.

Moira should be celebrating having a few months break from El Brat.

Well, I can see why she'd be upset but at the end of the day he DID commit arson and try to set fire to someone - her husband! He's not an innocent little lamb and there's been a miscarriage of justice, he's guilty. It seems that rather selfishly she'd rather see someone else's son on the run than have her son pay for his crimes.

Nine months. Even if he does the whole sentence, which I doubt, he'll be back by next summer. It's not going to ruin his employment prospects as he has a job on the farm to walk back into.

I can understand that she'd be worried about him in prison but the way she was going on you'd think he was going to Alcatraz!!! FGS get a grip. She was way too OTT. Nine years I could understand this reaction but none MONTHS?

Is 9 months, with time off for good behaviour, not quite a mild punishment?
Exactly. Could have been a lot worse as the courts take arson pretty seriously.

I love feisty Moira too. I did like her going for Pete, he was a bit insensitive IMO and the look on her face was as if her Iris's went all black, just scanning the room with her bottle of wine and a look of menace. She wouldn't look out of place in MacBeth.
LOL!!! Did Macbeth for my Eng Lit 'O' level, loved Lady Mc and her "out damned spot, out I say!!"

But aren't we supposed to say "the Scottish play?" (blame Blackadder, lol!)

Moira seems to have forgot that Adam nearly ripped Andys arm off by being a prat....he let his mate take the blame for the fire....he nearly killed Robbie with drugs....he was there when Donna got killed....hes been hateful to Moira for months.....thats just a few of the things hes done lately. So why is she so upset that her golden boy has got 9 months in prison. Hes going to walk back into the farm now hes got 20% and we can be sure hes going to come back still as bitter and twisted as he was when he left.

Now back to Cain and this breakfast table

Must admit I'm hating the transformation of Moira into snivelling useless housewife. What's happened to that feisty woman who arrived with the rest of the Bartons a few years back?

It's only 9 months (and will be halved for good behaviour - assuming he manages to grow up in prison and demonstrate some .)

If he was going on a 'gap year' he'd be gone longer....

I could understand her being a bit cross with Pete talking to Andy about moving in, but to be honest Ross has gone too and Andy will presumably need some help with the rent - it's not his fault that his lodgers have both bogged off at the same time!

Actually, some time away from him mammy might be just what Adam needs...

Adam will come back just as nasty, aggressive and childish as he was before. He will blame everyone and everything except himself. He will probably be some big hairy gangster's bitch and that will be Moira's fault too. A leopard never changes its spots.

BTW, I am still not convinced that wooden James is his father, that DNA on a sock still rankles with me at times!

Adam appears to have gone back to normal since he has come clean and Aaron is back, obviously this moodiness will now rub off onto someone else, with Ross out of the village also, where are the moody ones? Aaron?

Moira blames herself for everything, she pointed this out also for people who don't get why she was reacting the way she did. She was angry, she feels to blame so she got very emotional when people were just talking normally and not in turmoil like she is.
