It seems I was rejoicing too soon when it seemed that Humax had fixed the problem of videos not playing, only instead of the ever spinning circle, about 95 per cent now can't be played due to "file format problems".

Try playing anything by anybody from Joy Division to Simon & Garfunkle that isn't a poor quality recording off an old TV programme. If Humax is being prevented from allowing the playing album tracks then why not come clean about it and just say?
