Overload as wildcard
James_Donovan

Just found out Overload are the wildcard act even though they never made judges houses. Shall be interesting to see how they explain that...

Source?

Surely the wildcards have to be from the 3 rejected acts at judges houses? If not, can we petition for Hip to be the overs wildcard?

Enough with random spoiler. If they make it to judge house then maybe we can talk again

Simon picked for Louis and vice versa and the same with the girls. They were allowed to pick any act from the six chair challenge day and forward... it was 'pick an act you think the mentor judge overlooked' ... all the acts are getting spray tans today and move into the house on Saturday.

Interestingly Overload recently dropped their manager Blair and begun booking lots of gigs which they pulled out of due to 'sickness' and now are back with him, probably to do XF.

Lola Saunders got the girls wildcard, Jack Walton got the boys... not sure on the overs as of yet!

Anyone wanting to know my source- keep this post in mind in a few weeks time when it airs on tv

Surely an 8 piece boyband is too much?!

I'm really happy if this is true. Lola and Jack are far too talented to go home.

Your source is kinda weird because press keep saying this about wild card

- Simon picked Cheryl's Girl
- Cheryl picked Mel's Boy
- Mel picked Louis's Group
- Louis picked Simon's Over25

If you could get your source to tell you about wildcard then could you please let us know about full list of all acts going to liveshows ?

There’s set to be wild card twist on The X Factor 2014 this year, but this one is quite different.

Wild cards are not new to The X Factor (remember, that’s how we ended up with Christopher Maloney) but this years one is rather different.

In total there will be FOUR wild card acts, one in each category, chosen from the three acts who weren’t originally chosen for the live shows.

However, the judges will be picking the wild card acts for each other’s categories.

Cheryl, who has the Girls, will be picking the wild card for Mel B’s Boys, and vice versa.

And then Louis, who is mentoring the Groups, will chose an Over 25 act as Simon Cowell’s wild card before the roles are then also reversed.

The Sun newspaper (paid link) report: “This could see them pick a weaker singer who will get knocked out early – or shame their fellow judge by bringing someone back who was overlooked.”

It ultimately all means that this year’s series will end up with some SIXTEEN acts in the live shows when the finals kick off in October.

But for now it’s time for bootcamp, which kicks off on Friday on ITV.

Over the weekend we’ll see the four judges each work on their categories, picking the final six acts to take to judges’ houses.

Exactly! You could clearly point out the Zayn, Niall and Harry clones in the group. Then they sang a song at their audition which wouldn't seem out of place on a 1D album.

Never has ''conveyor belt pop'' been so blatant.

The fact they lied about only being together for 3 months when in fact they have been building up a fan base, have management etc. Clearly sought out by producers.

Yeah when I saw there arena audition I could see Simon eyes light up with money. Also, 8 piece isn't too much if you look at kpop which probably they are trying to do is bring that style over to the western hemisphere

I don't know if it means anything but, about a week ago I noticed the new manufactured girlgroup created a Twitter account xfactornewgirlband. To me it makes no sense to put through one boyband with 8 members, then another with 5 there just going to cancel each other out, especially since u guys are saying overload didn't even make judges houses.
