Phwoooaar!!

He looks far too good for Cottonkn*b. On the other hand, he says his best mate is Hayley Tammadon, so maybe not.

I`m sure it won`t be long before Toad Grimshaw tries to steal him away from stereotype Cotton.

I remember the actor playing Ivan the binman in Emmerdale (also appeared in various other shows)

Will the vicar have a white stick?

Booo! This means more than extra-esque screen time for it

Interesting storyline and wonderful casting!

If only it was a character other than Sean. Would have been far more exciting a prospect if Marcus had been given this storyline sometime following his split from Sean. Sean should have been packed off to London to "spend more time with Dylan" 18 months ago.

Of course, this storyline could be the best thing to happen involving the character of Sean in a decade. But I don't have faith in either the production team or Cotton to tell a thoughtful interesting love story in a believable fashion.

Oh no, god help any actor who has to shoot a scene with the talentless, cringeworthy Anthony Cotton. Corrie should have dropped him years ago. He brings down every scene he's in.

Let's hope the storyline runs it's course quickly, then the vicar dumps Stereotype and settles into the street properly without being saddled to him.
I liked Daniel Brocklebank in Emmerdale when he played Ivan.

that dashes all the talk of sean and Kal's son repeating the chryed EE storyline in corrie then.

wonder what the issue with it is sure Antony said it was something not sone before.

seen this actor in something recently he looks familiar.

maybe we should judge him for his acting skills rather than his friendships? no idea what the issue with hayley tamaddon is

Corrie keep missing a very important point with Sean and his men - he needs to be hooked up with a guy on his level. Non camp men don't fancy camp men - camp can be funny; it ain't sexy.

And then just for laughs try and crush his belief in God, leaving him desolate. Loves a bit of light hearted fun does Toad!!!

Ooh I loved Ivan the binman, still couldn't care less about Sean's love life though.

Also hardly an original storyline, I know Hollyoaks barely counts but they did do the whole gay priest relationship a long time ago.

bib: One day, Sean might succeed with that.

Ivan was a very believable bisexual in Emmerdale, if I recall. But I can't quite remember his storylines - he wasn't in it for long.

Unlikely. He's not managed it once in 10 years.

By that logic, a whole section of the gay community is doomed to die alone if they don't settle for a mirror image of themselves. Just not true, not everyone is as shallow.

Dan Brocklebank is a great signing, hope he stays on as a regular rather than just brought in for a particular storyline.

In my experience it is true, I don't know any camp/non camp pairings of gay men.

Neither do I.
The pairing of Sean and Marcus was highly unbelievable - the brief amount of time Marcus was with Todd rang more true to me, even though it was never going to be a long term storyline.
