Here's what I would do if I was Executive Producer of EE:
Keep Kat & Alfie in the Vic: I know a lot of you on DS don't like Alfie at all but he is a decent character and was a brilliant Landlord in the Vic. I'm Sorry, but I cannot stand the Carters. If it was up to me, I would've brought Stan in to the show and thats it. There wouldn't be no Johnny, Linda, Nancy or that stupid schmuck Mick Carter.
Phil's Stalker Storyline: a while back, I posted a thread on here criticising the Stalker storyline that EE did back in late 2011/ Early 2012 with Phil Mitchell. And if had it my way, then the story would've gone a lot longer and more secrets would be revealed about Phil, whilst the stalker would've been a secret Son of Phil's and his mother would be Linda Carter( who would've had a different name and surname, obviously).
Keep Ryan Malloy: In my opinion, getting rid of Ryan Malloy was a huge, huge mistake. I know he's recently come back, but I would have kept him on the show and offered the actor who plays him, Neil McDermott, a bigger raise to stay on. Had the Character stayed, there would be lots of directions to take him in, such as a possible relationship with Kim Fox, a cancer storyline, etc, etc.
Grant Mitchell: Also, I would bring Grant Mitchell. But I might've involved him in the Phil Stalker Storyline, but also give him a short storyline which basically has him return to the UK on the run from Interpol, the story would be that whilst he was Living in Portugal, he got himself involved with a Mexican Gangster who gave him a job of an Assassin. But the Mexican Gangster double-crossed him somehow, so Grant got his revenge by killing him, and burying his body in the Portuguese countryside. It would also be revealed that he's living in a dingy Flat somewhere in Swindon. I would've killed him off on Christmas Day as well, mainly because it would be the only way to persuade Ross Kemp to come back to the show in order to wrap up his character for good.
Jay Brown: I also would've given Jay Brown a huge, huge storyline too. Because he's such a good character that his potential is being wasted right now.
Nick Cotton/ Jacob Cotton: The recent Nick Cotton/ Dot story would also happen, but instead Charlie Cotton would've been renamed Jacob Cotton and he would be played by Matthew Horne. Jacob would be a much darker and unpredictable character, just like his Dad, and it would be a much bigger than the current storyline is right now. Nick would've come back to Kill his Ma and get revenge on Hacob and Yvonne Cotton, played by Pauline Qurike.
Cull the Brannings: In my Opinion, the Branning Family are one of the biggest mistakes that EE has ever made, and I would've got rid of them one by one: starting with Max, who would be killed off in a car accident. Jack would leave after a crook from his Police Past would come back to haunt him, Derek would die of heart disease, Lauren would leave with Abi to look after Abi at University, there would be no Joey or Alice, the only branning that would remain would be Tanya, who would still be married to Greg Jessop.
There will be more to come, don't worry.
