I dont mean do you want this to happen anytime soon ,I mean would you be happy if we never saw Peggy again and she was killed offscreen at somepoint?Or Would that be an unacceptable missed opportunity for the Mitchells Matriarch?
Is Peggy finished as a character to the extent it wont matter if shes never onscreen again?

The character's long overdue, but if she was going to die I wouldn't like it to happen offscreen. I'd rather they just not mention it.

Personally would love Peggy Mitchell to die on screen as she is an EastEnders legend and it would give the Mitchell's some great material to deal with, however as the years go by it is looking less and less likely that she will return to the square as after all Barbara Windsor is 80 in a few years time so she is no spring chicken anymore. I think she will die off screen when Barbara Windsor dies in real life, much like Dot Cotton/Branning will die off screen when June Brown dies in real life. I hope it is many years in the future when June Brown or Barbara Windsor die in real life but with Barbara pushing 80 and June pushing 90 it could realistically happen anytime soon.

no if she was to dies Peggy should come back for a guest appearance. Barbara did say she wouldn't mind coming in for a few episode and go again. I dought EE will kill off Peggy until Barbara goes herself as they did the mistake of killing of Pat

I'm not certain she does deserve a 'massive' funeral, to be honest. Peggy was nowhere near as important as the likes of Pat or Pauline, or even Frank. I would be annoyed if they suddenly killed Peggy offscreen for no reason, but I doubt I'd actually miss her that much.

Please no more killing big legacy characters off screen (or needlessly on-screen for that matter). Look how many corners they've written themselves into by doing just that.

I'd be mad if they killed her offscreen. I don't love Peggy but she's an important character. Not Pat important, but more than say Syed important imo.

She had been on the show for 2 decades been in many of the most memorable storyline and probaly the most recognised character

I wasn't a massive fan of the character, truth be told. But with Pat dead it would be great to have Peggy back as a strong matriarch for the show (not that it will happen sadly). I wouldn't be happy or sad if Peggy died off screen but it would be a bit pointless as there's no need for her to die. Her death wouldn't provide much in the way of storylines long term since she's already left the series.

I agree, Peggy, Phil and Grant are all iconic characters.

Peggy deserves an on screen funeral should they ever kill her off.

Not even that - she is a vastly overrated, very badly acted, pantomime dame who swanned about the square thinking that she was the Queen of Sheba because of 'her boys'.

No way was she in the same league as Pauline and Pat.

No bloody way, what an injustice to the character that would be.

No, it would not be acceptable at all. Peggy Mitchell is one of the most iconic characters (if not the most iconic) that has been on the show.
