No but considering the fire only happened last week it should be scebbing now. I dont think this is what someone would look like just a week after being in a fire does it really look like it only happened to her last week to you
or does she look like they've sweated a load of jam all over her face ? My problem is I just think the make up team could have done a far better job with the effects. Also her Hair all intact Why ain't her hair burnt...

I would imagine it was because her head and face were covered when Alfie brought her down the stairs through the flames, so they didn't get the full brunt. It seems that her arm and leg on that side of her body were the worst parts affected, not her face or head.
Poor Kat!
Her burns are bad enough to lower her self esteem and confidence but it's the mental and psychological scars that will go much deeper!

Well she would look better by the time they take the bandages off but they probably won't improve much after this. She won't be able to use make up on burns like and do obscure one side of her face. For somebody as looks conscious as Kat, they are still a big deal.
Plus, this is only her face - the Bruns went all up her legs (no more short, tight skirts), torso and neck.

Couldn't agree more! I'm amazed at how many people here & elsewhere that are brushing these burns off as nothing; I wonder if people would be saying that if those burns were on their faces. Any burn is horrible no matter how big or small. Imagine going from having perfect skin on your face to suddenly having scarring like that over your forehead & cheek, I know I sure as hell wouldn't look in the mirror & think "oh well, not to bad!"
At the end of the day soaps can only do so much, they couldn't cover Kat from head to toe as it wouldn't be practical for day after day filming but considering this will no doubt be an ongoing storyline I think the make up team have done a fantastic job at making them look realistic & severe enough to massively affect a character as looks conscious as Kat.
