It’s been over two years since we launched NOW TV, and, for the first time, the price of our Entertainment and Sky Movies Month Pass is increasing. From the 16th of October, our Sky Movies Month Pass will be £9.99 a month, and our Entertainment Month Pass will be £6.99 a month.

We’ve been making some great changes to your Passes to make them even more entertaining.

We’ve added:
3 new channels: fun for kids with Nickelodeon & Nick. Jr., and exclusive no contract access to ITV ENCORE
Double the number of episodes available on Catch Up and Box Sets
An extra 200 movies so you can now enjoy unlimited access to over 800 exclusive films
Sky Movies Disney where you can watch over 150 new and classic titles
Availability on loads more devices including Android, PS4, Xbox One and Chromecast, giving you even more choice to watch NOW TV on two devices at once, on the go or at home

Think £6.99 will put a lot of people of as a lot of live stuff is blocked too, if they added a couple more channels such as watch, nat geo etc then i think most people would find £6.99 a fair price but as it stands it should be no more than £5.
As for the movies £9.99 is a fair price for them i think.

I've cancelled my movies package with nowtv - it's too close to the sky normal price of £16.50 - I cancelled my sky movies package coz I wasn't happy at paying that much - £8 was great with nowtv but not willing to go closer to the old price again.

Shame

£6.99 is not too bad for the Entertainment package, same cost as Netflix and for me anyway much better value.

How is it better value? Netflix has much more content and with a VPN can give you even more from other regions. Now TV only offers streaming in 720p only as well unlike Netflix and Amazon who offer 1080p.

Note my use of the phrase "for me".

I have had Netflix a couple of times, not impressed even using a VPN. I found Now TV to have more for me to watch.

I had a 3 month movie pass that was due to expire on the 21st... I just went to cancel and selected the reason as "it's too expensive" they gave me 4 months for £29.99 (£7.50 a month)

Now shows as expiring 21st feb 2015. Not bad for the movies, £9.99 though is a little too expensive compared to netflix and the likes.

I think there will be a lot of cancellations. It's a very basic offering that lacks many big pay TV channels.

I will be cancelling once the final series of Boardwalk has finished. Watched the Arsenal game on Sky 1 last night and the picture quality was dire. I gave up on the sports passes because of the buffering.

This is Sky after all, they always putting their prices up. i thought they may have thought a bit about this, since it is easier for people to drop than with Sky Tv.

My entertainment pack last until the end of December, I do not think it offers me enough to keep it going. Netflix offers me much more.

If Nat geo was on Now TV, things may be different.

I am thinking of getting films for a couple of months, I am having a operation tomorrow and will be be at home for a couple of months doing very little after. i will be off work longer than two months, but hopefully after a month or so I will be able to get out.

I have seen some offers for films, but it is mainly £5 off if you have it for 3 months.

Save your money mate and get a smart dns or vpn if you can and just use the multiple netflix regions instead.
