Wally: Oooh the Jive is a really tough dance to get the first week and sadly it showed for you, Jennifer. The partnering was alright at best, but the kicks and flicks felt light and weak and there wasn’t enough oomph in your legwork. I felt that your posture here wasn’t good and the section of you on top of the table really exposed your technique and not in the best way. But it looked like you had fun, at least. Better luck next week.

It might not have completely bowled our judges over, but it impressed enough to....

Wally: I thought this was a pretty good Tango, Sunetra. I did think you danced this fine although some parts of this seemed a bit hectic and not so refined. You were alright in hold although she also seemed closed in hold, wobbly in there and yeah your frame looked weird here so that is something to work on. There was great drama and you performed well!

Another drop, but again only a slightly one, giving Sunetra and Brendan...

Stuart: This was just lovely. At the beginning, I wasn't too keen on the umbrella-ography. I liked the pivots, I loved the head rolls, and although it was quite careful and fragile, I think you coped well with a difficult song to Waltz to. This was one of the best of the weekend, for me.

Well, would you like at that? That's right, Frankie and Kevin are the first couple of the series to improve their score as they receive...

Stuart: I liked this, and I think your technique for week one was great. But, to quote someone from the discussion thread, it looked like you were flicking your slippers off when you were kicking. It didn't quite look right. But I loved the theme, and I thought this was another of the best of the weekend.

Not quite enough for another improvement, but still pretty impressive stuff as they...

The boys are the biggest movers in the first comparison leaderboard of the series, but it could all change this weekend when they come back to dance at the weekend before the lines open for the first time this series on both shows.

I am hoping to be a lot more efficient for the second round.
