I must admit that every time I look at this forum (probably every 2-3 days) there is something I read that will create a craving that I just have to give in to.

For example I have just read that post about why sausages made it onto a fry up and not burgers and now I just HAVE to have sausages for my tea. They are defrosting as i type!

This is a common occurrence in this house. I read something on here and then we'll be having it in the next day or two.

It's no bad thing. I love food and love reading about it!

Yes, quite a few times. For example, I hadn't liked the idea of butternut squash after having it a few times in restaurants or ready food, but I was convinced on here to try it roasted and it is gorgeous!

Hi Kimi!

I'm fine - been in Turkey of late - god the veg that's so cheap!

My depression lifted for a while as I took interest in local/seasonal produce & had a version of lidl a few apartments away - the girl was lovely - well all the staff were & endured my Turkish.

Then I arrive and have to trust in Lidl ( which are good IMO) if you use broccoli early as it tends to 'yellow' within hours.

Glad to hear you're feeling (felt) better (hope it's the latter).

Must go to Lidl - there's a big advertising campaign on for them in the UK now and I've only ever been once, I think!
