I thought she was the best I have ever seen her!....with Brucie gone and Claudia as her new partner the whole presentation of the show seemed very different and much more relaxed as we weren't all sitting on edge waiting for Bruce to finish his appalling 'jokes'!!! everything just flowed..................

The girls did great as far as I am concerned!........

Yes, I thought she was a little over excited tonight

She's gone from extremely annoying with Brucie to only a mild annoyance with Claudia. Massive improvement.

I've seen Tess and Claudia do much better on the previous series when they have stood in for Bruce when he was off poorly or whatever. Hopefully, it's just first night nerves, I always think the first show is a bit disconnected anyway, it's like the first night of anything when nothing is quite in its right place, and everybody has to find out who the new boys and girls are, critique accordingly, and get accustomed to their places. It generally shakes down on the second week into a settled rhythm.

If Strictly was a play, I'd say Tess was over-acting Big Time. So false.

She was awful, shouting and moving about. Needs a chill pill. Sometimes less is more!

Tess-Bot was in full machine mode tonight.

I have seen more genuine emotion in a cheese sandwich.

I like Tess, but she needs to stop shouting over the judges whilst they're giving feedback; it was becoming annoying. I want to hear what the judges are saying

I think she is going to grate big time. She is not witty or clever enough. so can't think on her feet to respond to what is going on.

I thought they were both great. The whole thing seemed to hang together fairly seamlessly; the links worked (ish); and the jokes, although laboured, were bearable after the cringe-fest that was Brucie in his latter days.

I agree that it will improve after the first night nerves have gone but I think this partnership already works well - Tess is a natural with the autocue and Claudia is a genius at quick-fire unscripted repartee. No complaints from me.

I thought she did rather well - then again I've never been irritated by her like I know a l know a lot of people are.

I like Tess - not so keen on Claudia.

She needs to stand back and let the judges speak.
I don't know what the opposite of witty is, but .........

Not like she and Claudia are new to it, but the staging needs work, mocking the Brucie stlyle entrance used to work well, for example, not tr I ndling down the stairs with two male pro dancers. If it ain' t broke, don' t fix it.

I agree . Hopefully it's just first night nerves and she'll settle down and not be too OTT in future shows . I suppose she's also under orders to sell the show with as much positivity as she can muster .

It turns out my intense dislike for Bruce prevented me from realising how annoying she is.

It seemed like that to me as well!... in fact after all the 'put down' comments I went back and watched it again focusing on what had been said and I must say. 'I haven't a clue why all the negative comments!.... she certainly didn't seem like she was overly loud to me!, there was an awful lot of audience noise!, over and above what was needed, so she had to compete with that of course but, all in all I thought mikes did their job ok and she never raised her voice as far as I could see!.........

And I thought the 'coming down the stairs' entrance with the two dancers was a great idea!... no, you don't want to change the show out of all recognition but we don't want a carbon copy of Bruce and Tess's entrance, (it used to make me cringe anyway!.... )...

I thought Tess and Claudia did a great job even for a 'first; show....... Well done ladies!, you did great...............................

When she got the hammer and started screaming at Craig 'ORDER!' was genuinely cringe-inducing.

Personally I think they should get rid of Tess giving the introductions (our next couple is...) and let Claudia do it from her room.

I found her unbearable last night. She really needs to tone it down.
