He did Cha Cha Cha though this week and in the last two years they all do one ballroom and latin before the first elimination.

Holly and Russell had 2 latins for their first two dances in Series 9 - I can imagine we may see that again, as they won't want NINE ballrooms - they'd probably see it as too boring.

Gregg said it was Salsa next in his Radio Times interview video.

Thanks CloneClown - I missed the mention of Steve having cha-cha. I've added it now.

For reference, last year's week 2 dances in quantity (this year's week 1 dances were almost identical to last year's except with one more jive than waltz):
American Smooth x2
Tango x3
Waltz x3

Cha-Cha-Cha x3
Charleston x2
Salsa x2

Delayed posting Tim's dance whilst looking at everyone else's Twitter and got ninja'd

Think we might hear Jake's and Simon's soon, as Janette and Kristina tweet a lot.

These are the two times Gregg has talked about Salsa.

The exact quotes are "it's all cha-cha-cha and salsa" and "looking forward to salsa" as part of a discussion mentioning several other dances. Those don't suggest that he actually has salsa.

It'd be odd for her to say that if it wasn't her dance, so I'd say yes.

Yeah, seems very likely (was just about to post if either Jake or Frankie would have the Charleston next week; as they are the only latins still to be announced).

Should be a very good dance for her, as long as Kevin does not go the manic route with her. Wonder if she will be able to come close to Sophie's score last year (still have to laugh that Natalie has the highest score last year, but whatever).

As for Jake, I do hope for him that he does NOT have the Charleston.

Also remember that most couples last year (the ones who survived a few weeks) at one point did double duties (or rather "weeks") on one dance genre (for instance b-l-b-b-l etc.). So, after next week all bets are off.

I would expect for there to be more than one Charleston, which would point to Jake doing it.

Ooh, Charleston and Frankie could be a really good match. I could see her doing some very impressive lifts - another SEB moment, perhaps?
