We competed me and the gorgeous Mabird finishing circa 35years past
A real lady of class and warmth loved by by all family and friends

A superb dancer wonderful.mother and grandmother and we were together engaged and married 57 years

The beautiful lovely lady passed away on Friday and for me now the floor is empty no music No lights

Sorry did not mean to be morbid but to celebrate the warm loving life of a graceful lady who once shared the the world of dance

I'm so sorry to hear that, pabird, but it sounds as if you have some wonderful memories to treasure. As well as having a wonderful long lasting marriage, you actually lived the dream of being out there on the ballroom floor rather than just watching from an armchair. Many people will envy you for that.

My condolences.

Pabird, what a beautiful message, despite the terribly sad news.

It sounds like you had a very special relationship and as Spin says, hopefully some wonderful memories.

Sending you condolences at this difficult time.

So sorry to hear your sad news, pabird. You write so lyrically.....Have you thought about writing a short poem along the lines of your third paragraph? It may help you.

How sorry I am to hear about your wife.

I can't help but think Mabird would be so proud to hear you speak of her in such a loving way.

You will be in my thoughts now every time I see your name on here as part of the dancing couple who had a long and happy marriage.

My condolences too Pabird. So sad to lose a partner in the dance of life but I hope the blessing of having found a partner for life with whom you could dance is the blessing you will hold on to. I also hope you find it in you to dance again ..in time when things are less raw. xx
