Emails wont show since update on Samsung tablet
I had a notification of an update on my Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tab 2 tablet. The update went fine but since this I have not been able to access my Hotmail emails. The app is still there but I just get a blank screen with settings in the left hand corner. I have tried syncing but it just goes round and round for ages and nothing happens.
Has anyone got any tips please. At the moment I am having to log into Hotmail via internet explorer but this is not ideal and it doesn't look anything like my old one. Thanks in anticipation. |

It knows the details for the major email providers, so just add your Hotmail account (email address/password) and you should be good to go. |

Have you tried the stock Android email app? Should have come pre-installed on your tablet. Works pretty well in my experience.

This was linked to my Hotmail account but, as I say, all I get now is a white screen. Its obviously to do with this update because it was fine before I did that. Its really annoying. |

The only email app I have is the one I usually use, its a white envelope with an orange 'and' symbol in the middle of it - you can see Im very technical!!!

Maybe someone can recommend another good email app for android tablets? Or search for email on Google Play and take a look at the reviews for the various apps. |

Ah right, sounds like you're already using the stock app then.

The update hasn't affected my tablet on this program, but others have gone a little loopy. Other forums have suggested doing a couple of re-starts and see if that sorts it out, if not doing a factory re-set - that seems to sort out any little bugs from the update
