Hi there, I see you've migrated from the Soaps forum to the farthest recesses of DS. I never buy fast food, but occasionally I 'phone one Chinese chippy that's been in business for over 20 years and order a custom meal, and every now and then I'll call in and buy some chips over the counter and say hello.

I avoid all the retail chains on your list and don't eat kebabs or Indian food.

Don't have a favourite food - fast or otherwise.

Depends what I feel like having at the time.

Fish & Chips, go back to it time and again. Closely followed by Indian food.

Fish & Chips and Indian. I don't really do any of the others.

It used to be a Chinese *always with chips included* - as I have always loved chips sooooo much

On the rare occasions I have take away I generally have saveloy and chips or battered sausage and chips, if I'm in a traditional mood. Otherwise I like shish kebab, KFC or Burger King burgers. Have also had the meat ball Subway a couple of times and I liked that.
I like Indian but never had it as a take away, always in a restaurant or at home. Same with Chinese.

Probably isn't the case - it just seems that Alan is busting for a confrontation on the Food and Drink forum for some reason, see the M&S thread. He is quite funny really but probably best to ignore.

I had a sushi takeaway last night, can you explain what's shit about that?

Takeaways aren't just greasy kebabs and dirty burgers you know.

Are you actually saying that all Indian and Chinese food is shit?

If we get a takeaway we'll usually get an Indian, I get it from our local restaurant, the same with Chinese, I find they do better food than a dedicated takeaway.

In order:

Indian
Chinese
Malaysian. There's a nice restaurant nearby that does some nice Malaysian dishes.
Pizza. Not a fan of regular takeaway pizza but I like Dominos when we've a decent voucher.
Fish and Chips. Occasionally.
KFC. Not a fan of the pieces of chicken but like a Zinger Burger now and again.

The only time I'd ever have a Kebab is if I got a sudden craving when walking home drunk, I've not had one for years though. Not a fan of doner either so it'd be a shish.
McDonalds is just rubbish, I've never had anything I've enjoyed from there and really don't see why people rave about it so much, just unbelievably average-crap food.
Burger King. Slightly better than McDonalds but still pretty crap. When it comes to burgers you just can't beat homemade.

Of course he is. Have you not read any of his other comments berating people who don't cook everything "from scratch".

Yes, has confirmed on another thread his thoughts. A lot of them seem to be because he doesn't like that style of food though.

Pizza
Other (Thai)
Indian
Chinese
Kebab
Chippy
KFC
McDonalds
Burger King

That's in theory, anyway, assuming that all of the non-chains are equally good. In reality it depends upon a combination of which takeaways are best in the area - I'll generally take a good chippy over an indifferent pizza - and who delivers (if I can't be bothered to go out).
