I'm getting a lot of people say I keep cutting out on WiFi calling. Anyone else?
Yes, after a couple of weeks use on my Nexus 5x, I gave up and switched it off, it just wasn't working very well. Indeed on a couple of calls out I had a weird situation where the number dialled rang a couple of times then returned an engaged tone! I'm afraid that I'm the sort of person that loves tech and smart phones. However, if it doesn't make calls then it's useless.

This needs to be the future. I am glad it's happening now, with the HTC 10 and Galaxy S7 series done.

Three still saying to customers this week that you can only use phones they supply, with custom Three firmware, is not the way to do things.

I was so surprised when my new HTC10 picked up wifi calling. Happy with that, didn't think unbranded phones would work.

EE are adding non EE bought phones to the list where they seem able to:

WiFi Calling is available on all versions of the iPhone 5c and later models of the iPhone, as well as the Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Lumia 550, 650, 950, 950XL and HTC 10.

Can somebody confirm if Wifi calling works on the Nexus 6P works on Android N Developer Preview 5? It didn't on Developer Preview 4 so I went back to Marshmallow as I rely on this feature at home due to a poor 3G signal.

Thanks,
Paul

I've updated my 5x to the Aug Android patch and Wi-Fi calling seems to be working better now, anyone else?

I can actually go out of Wi-Fi signal and when it's gets a signal Wi-Fi calling comes back

It's pretty sad that the phone is so bad that you think that is something unusual or worth mentioning.

Yep, albeit seems to only be a problem at home on my Sky router. Everywhere else seems to work just fine

Interference on a wifi channel can cause EE Wifi to screw up or come and go..

It doesn't like TP-Link repeaters either.
Probably doesn't like any repeaters...
