After freeview EPG changes that give more room to lower numbers and CBS Action about come on air at channel 70 is the next channel to come to freeview as space is made going the be CBS Horror ?

Or CBS Drama ?

We already have CBS Reality on channel 66

CBS has been on Freesat for some years now with these channels..
134 CBS Drama
135 CBS Reality
136 CBS Reality +1
137 CBS Action
138 Horror
139 Horror +1

Virgin has those channels too along with sky and yes Talk Talk youview TV has them on there EPG too.

Will the space be from new Com 8 HD Mux which will be needed as Channel 5 HD comes to Freeview within the next six month as new company owners and bosses get to view assets and goals ?

It's one of those niche channels that's needed.

It's not so much of a 'horror' channel, as a cult tv channel. That is needed.

It also has the classic Doctor Who's so would be good for a freeview/YouView outing, I know someone who would like that!

I'd be happy seeing Horror ch on Freeview, get some obscure, cult films on there every so often.

Horror Channel and all the other CBS channels are on TalkTalk Youview as internet channels, FTA although Reality has now gone so I assume Action will as well now it's live on Freeview.

Personally, I'd love to see the channel on Freeview,

It shows un-aired material in the UK and I thought it would have been a preference to CBS Action.

Yes, I'd like to see it too, for old Doctor Who which I haven't seen since childhood.

As an FTA channel on Freesat, it doesn't seem impossible to hope to get it on Freeview.

Yes, it would be a very good addition to Freeview since it covers not only the horror genre but fantasy and sci-fi as well. It would complement CBS Action well.

Someone really ought to ask them if they've got any long term plans to join Freeview: http://www.horrorchannel.co.uk/contact.php

Looking at the guide other than the old doctor whos couldnt see myself watching anything else, nothing really horror like on that channel tbh.

I'd certainly watch Doctor Who and I'd give some of the rest a try.

I steer away from supernatural stuff but much more likely to give sci-fi horror a go.

Every time I've asked on their Facebook page I've been told there are no current plans to launch on Freeview. Only once did they add 'at the moment'

Does the fact that it's FTA on Freesat mean the ratio of cost to viewers is better on Freesat than Freeview?

There are still adverts on Arqiva for 24/7 channel http://www.arqiva.com/overviews/tv/tv-channel-dtt

So space is no real trouble for CBS Horror to join at this time.

As it peak TV season it could add some good money for them to join freeview with many millions of viewers with adverts.

if you want to watch the horror channel and don't have satellite, you could watch it on your phone or tablet by downloading the film-on app from the Google play store (not sure if it's available on iTunes for apple devices )

I have freesat, but I'd like the convinence of getting all my favorite channels on one platfrom.

Sometimes I won't check to see what's on dave if I have the free sat running.....
