My hair is quite badly damaged, it's been dyed and re-dyed so many times, it's suffered years of GHD abuse and a bit of overwashing and it's permanently in a dry, damaged, fragile state. So I was just wondering is there anything, any product, that can REALLY rejuvenate the health of your hair as in properly repair it? Cutting it off is not an option!!
I use shampoos and conditioners designed for dry/damaged hair (at the minute I'm using the Garnier Ultimate Blends with shea butter in it - so lovely!) and I occasionally use hair masks and macademia oil. I'm getting into the habit of covering my hair in coconut oil every night and washing it out in the morning and while it makes my hair lovely and soft, it doesn't seem to be doing much for the damage. I also use Orofluido oil heat protect spray every time I blow dry or straighten it which is meant to have a high heat protection in it (I previously wasn't using heat protection).
Has anyone any tips or tricks for repairing the hair? What I'm doing doesn't seem to be doing much so really need some new advice!!
