MONDAY FEBRUARY 2
Amy is less than amused that Ste is trying to be a peace maker between Kathy and Amy particularly given his history with his own family. She does however struggle to keep up the frosty exterior after she sees how much Leah and Lucas have taken to her. When Chris highlights that none of his family will be at the wedding due to an ongoing feud with his father, Amy agrees that Kathy can come to the wedding reception but tells her that she will be kicked out if she does anything to upset anyone.
Later Chris sees Kathy leaving the hospital and she tells him that it's just a check up after her cancer causing Chris to wonder if she was really sick. Chris bumps in to Tegan who tells him tells him that Kathy goes to the hospital every day to visit a really sick old woman but she died recently. When Chris tells Amy she asks her Mum why she didn't say anything and Kathy says that she didn't want to make a fuss. As the family sit down for dinner Chris moves Kathys bag away from the table and some medication falls out of it. He quickly takes a photo of the label before putting it back in her bag and joining the family.
Debbie is having next to no luck on the job front but refuses to work with Frankie on a daily basis. Frankie pushes Darren in to giving her a job at 'The Loft' but he's not keen knowing full well that Michaela will have a fit about it. Debbie insists that he help her find a job and the two of them head in to town together where they begin reminiscing about Steph and all the stupid things they used to get up to. As the drinks flow it becomes apparent that there's a spark between them.
Nancy is having a day of it as she tries to sell her mothers house in Canada and the solicitor keeps cutting her off. She gets so frustrated that she ends up throwing her phone and it falls in to the pond. Greg is nearby watching the entire thing and tells her that she needs to relax but she turns her nose up at him and heads back in to the pub.
Throughout the course of the day things keep on going wrong - the pub gets stupidly busy and Nancy is on alone so Greg jumps behind the bar, he also breaks up a fight between a group of lads out on a stag do pub crawl and when Oscar starts having a screaming fit after bumping his head it's Greg who calms him down. Greg tells Nancy that she's got to go out with him as a thank you but she tells him that she'd rather just pay him and be done with. When one of the pumps breaks in the bar Greg takes his shirt off to get a grib on it whilst tightening it. Nancy soon changes her mind and agrees to go for dinner with him.
Grace is attempting (and failing) to make dinner as she gets a knock at the door. Tegan is there with packed bags as she tells Grace that she has to go away for a few days. She forgot that she had an important training course in London and says that Leela has her hands full with Peri. Grace is quick to agree to take Rose off her hands and as Tegan leaves Grace tells Rose "it's just you and me now baby girl"
TUESDAY FEBRUARY 3
The gruesome twosome - Theresa and Sinead - are settling in to their party pad quite nicely until they hear the door go. The girls hide in the cupboard under the stairs as Darren walks in with Alan and Marilyn Daniels. They discuss the sale of the house as Darren says that once the refurb of the kitchen is done he will be permanently down sizing. The family show interest in the property telling him that they need to be closer to the village now that Marilyn has a new job and Alan will be setting up an office in Hollyoaks.
Darren opens the cupboard and sees the girls hiding inside, quickly slamming it shut and ushering his guests away. Darren returns later as the girls are still there and asks them what's going on. Theresa rather poorly explains the situation but when Sinead chips in he turns sour.
DARREN
I know what you said to Esther
SINEAD
Not that again, seriously Darren
DARREN
Seriously. You're sick
Theresa attempts to flirt with him but to no avail
SINEAD
Look Darren we just need somewhere to crash for a couple of weeks until they open the new flats by the pub. We'll pay ya.
DARREN
Two weeks! £200 or you're out
THERESA
£200?! There's not even a kitchen
SINEAD
Done.
Darren leaves the girls to it and Theresa asks where they're going to get the money from. Sinead says they need to get creative.
Later, Sinead and Theresa head back to 'The Loft' and Sinead is instantly recognised for her video. She's initially embarassed until Theresa tells her to own it. Sinead begins flirting with guys whilst Theresa takes their money. Michaela catches her cousin in the act and kicks her out of the club. When the girls get back Theresa has a brain wave - they should embrace Sineads fame and start a webcam. Get the money and cut it off before it goes anywhere.
Liberty is in the coffee shop with Dodger who is talking about how exhausted he is working full time and having two young babies. She offers to help but he tells her that she needs to focus on her music. She accidentally lets slip that Maxine is going to be joining her on tour when she releases her album causing Dodger to make the drastic decision to become a stay at home Dad.
Louis comes in to the coffee shop with Kathleen Angel and Matthew. They're running circles around him so he gives them both a drink to calm them down. Liberty points out that the drinks are full of sugar and they're just going to get worse. When Kathleen Angel starts playing up Liberty picks her up and starts talking about her favourite Disney songs. Liberty begins singing a mellow version of 'Let it go' to the kids and Dodger soon notices how mesmerised Louis is. Dodger tells them that he's leaving but soon texts his sister from outside saying "He luurrrves you". Liberty panics and leaves, crashing in to Jason and Dougie on the way out and spilling her water down her top making it see through.
Dougie grabs Jason by the arm and tells him to stop avoiding him. Jason pushes him off and grabs him by the shirt. Louis breaks them up and tells them to cool off. Jason leaves. Later, Darren sees Jason in the village and asks if he's okay. Jason admits to Darren that he had a threesome but won't say who it was with. Darren soon bumps in to Dougie and things fall in to place. He warns Dougie that Jason is fragile at the moment telling him "He trusts you more than his brothers so whatever spell you've got over him break it. He doesn't need to be confused or messed about. He needs help". Dougie defends himself but Darren tells him that he's just like his brother.
Liberty and Dodger are sat in the living room when they hear a crash from outside. Dodger opens the curtains and sees Louis on the floor under the wheelie bin. "It's for you". Liberty opens the door and stands over Louis who attempts to pass her flowers.
LIBERTY
They're all...bendy
LOUIS
Yeah turns out that all that army training didn't make me very stealth after all
LIBERTY
What are you doing here Louis?
LOUIS
You. NO. I mean. I'm here to see you. I - I thnk you're really special and I want to see more of you. NO. Yes. I mean not like your boobs but, well of course your boobs but - hang on. I'm just going to go.
DODGER (O.S)
Put him out of his misery Lib!
Louis looks to the ground, embarrassed, Liberty steps off the front door way and walks up to him, taking his bendy flowers she throws them on the floor. He looks heart broken until she flashes a smile and gives him a kiss.
Back at the burnt out house Theresa and Sinead are counting their money. They have £330. Sinead tells Theresa they're a match made in heaven.
WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 4
Dodger informs Maxine of his decision to become a stay at home Dad and she begins to doubt whether or not she can the job Liberty is asking. He tells her that he has every faith in her and reminds her of the person she used to be. He tells her he's going to show her how fun she can be by taking her out for a night of 'challenges'.
The two of them bump in to Patrick in the village who tells Maxine that she looks cheap and demands to know where Annie is. Maxine says that Dirk and Cindy have her and to stay away. Liberty and Louis walk by and ask what the commotion was. When Liberty hears about the games night she wants in and insists Louis join too.
The two couples head out with a series of challenges; obtain someone elses underwear, convince a random that you're famous etc Maxine is dejected when she starts losing the game until one guy asks whether she is Mitzeee Minniver. Channeling her inner Mitzeee, Maxine powers through the game and wins by a mile. She is finally convinced that she can do the job and agrees to be the bread winner.
Patrick has had another rejection from a job and is becoming increasingly frustrated with his time spent at home. He convinces Holly to take a mock exam and shows her that she failed completely despite having actually passed. A stressed Holly begins to panic about failing college and asks for extra hours. He tells her he is more than happy to stay up and tutor her as long as it's okay with her mother. Knowing full well that it wouldn't be Holly lies to Cindy and says that she is staying at Kayas.
Patrick begins talking to Holly about Sienna's mental illness and pries the subject of how Holly coped with Cindy. She begins talking to him about every aspect of her life and opening up. She thanks him for not mentioning when she lied about Dodger and he tells her that Dodger has a way of making people do crazy things before spinning a web of lies about Dodger and Siennas incestuous past. Patrick thanks Holly for being a friend and tells her that she is special. There is an awkward moment between them before he shakes it off and gives her another test.
Myra bumps in to Theresa in the village and Theresa puts on a front like she doesn't care to talk to her. Myra asks where she's staying and she tells her that she's got her own flat and that her and Sinead have started their own business. Myra asks what business and Theresa replies "none of yours". Trevor is near by and approaches Theresa saying he saw who she left the club with the other night and it's not a safe business to get in to. She says she can handle herself and he warns her that a lot of those guys can turn nasty and to ask Sinead about it.
Later, Theresa visits Trevor and asks him what he knows about scamming money. He says he knows she doesn't have the smarts to do it and she tells him that she had the smarts to get away with murder. He berates her for bragging about and calls her a pathetic little girl. She says he's bitter because Grace has left him. Trevor asks what she's on about and she points to the note on the fridge "Gone away. Grace x". Trevor charges to their room and looks in the wardrobe. There's nothing there. He turns to Theresa "She's got Rose. Grace has got Rose"
Grace is sat in a dressing gown in a pent house by the beach as Rose plays in front of the television.
THURSDAY FEBRUARY 5
It's Cindys first day back at Price Slice and she sees Holly coming down from the flats. She's about to speak to her when she sees Jason come down shortly afterwards. Smiling to herself she assumes that the two of them are back together. Cindy's smile is soon wiped off her face when Alex comes in to the shop. He begins making threats but is soon cut off by Clark and Diane who enter the store bickering about whether or not Diane should let Sinead move back in. Diane is pro, Clark is no.
Alex refuses to get out of Clarks way but Diane tells him to leave it . Alex tells Cindy that he'll see her later whilst Clark tells her to call him if he gets any more trouble. Diane is not impressed with Clark using Cindys fear to get a pick up.
Later, Alex and Diane cross paths and he tries to sweet talk her. She's having none of it and he says that Cindy must've poisoned her too. He has her attention. They go for a drink and he tells Diane everything that Cindy done to him. Whilst stunned Diane is not surprised and tells Alex about Cindys affair with Rhys and about Alistairs mysterious death. The two of them end up getting on like a house on fire and Clark is not amused when he catches them together. Clark - who is with Cindy - warns Alex away but Diane turns on Cindy and tells Clark to get the facts. Diane and Alex leave together as Alex gives Clark a wink.
Trevor doesn't know where to begin looking for Grace and calls on Esther for help but between them and Theresa they're not much use. There's no clues, no nothing. Esther has a go at Trevor for ignoring what was going on with Grace despite Esthers pleas and he grabs her and shouts in her face. Theresa sees what rage he is capable of and becomes less sure of her association with him.
Theresa tells them to think whether she has anywhere that feels safe to her and Trevor reminds them of what their childhood was like. Trevor gets a call from Tegan who says she can't get hold of Grace but he assures her that everything is fine. Trevor calls the bank and finds out that Grace recently purchased a train ticket to Dorset. He tells Esther that is where they used to go as teenagers in the summer.
The three of them head down and find Grace with Rose at the pier. She asks what the fuss is about and says that Tegan knows where they are but Trevor tells her she is lying. Grace breaks down saying she doesn't understand how someone who constantly passes their baby off can be a mother and she can't. She says she bought Rose there to be close to her Dad because she never could be. Esther takes Rose from Grace as Trevor hugs her. When they return to the village Theresa calls Myra and tells her that she is right about her and that she wants them to do right by Kathleen Angel and Theresa can work out where she is meant to be in the world. When she hangs up she gets a text from Trevor telling her she has an appointment.
Jason and Holly go for a walk and he apologises for how he was the other night. He says that he didn't know the answer when she asked about Dougie.
JASON
It does my head in. He's brilliant. He's funny. He's clever. He makes me feel like I'm not a loser. I think about him and I don't know what I'm even thinking because I'm not gay -
HOLLY
How do you know that?
JASON
Because
Holly anxiously awaits a response
JASON
Because we - done stuff - the other night me and Dougie and this girl and -
HOLLY
You slept together?
JASON
I shouldn't be saying this to you
HOLLY
No, Jason, you can talk to me it's okay
JASON
We done stuff, not - it - but, stuff and I liked it, I think but with the girl it was different. I liked being with her but I felt safer with him
HOLLY
Do you fancy him?
JASON
No. I'm not gay. I have never looked at a bloke in my life I don't even look at him like that he just makes me feel better about myself. Like I'm something.
HOLLY
Jase it's okay to experiment it doesn't mean you're gay or that you love him or anything. Dougie gets with boys and girls because he likes the person and maybe that's what you did, maybe you felt so close to him as your friend that you thought it was a physical thing and now you've tried it and you know it's not you can move on
JASON
When did you become so wise?
HOLLY
Always have been! I watch a lot of tele
Holly continues to tell Jason that he doesn't have to justify his actions or take them further. Jason pushes the subject of Patrick and Holly shuts down immediately after Jason brings up the rumours about him abusing Sienna. She turns on Jason saying just because he's decided he likes boys doesn't mean she's decided to start sleeping with old men.
FRIDAY FEBRUARY 6
Jason goes to visit Dougie at the student halls and crosses paths with a girl who is just leaving his room. Dougie asks Jason why he's been avoiding him and Jason apologises. He tells Dougie that he's sorry and the other night shouldn't have happened because he's not gay. Dougie highlights the fact that he is also not gay and tells Jason to get over himself. Jason calls him out for being insensitive with the comment and Dougie apologises. Dougie says that things got too heated and he didn't mean to cause a fuss, telling Jason perhaps they should see less of each other so that he doesn't confuse him. Jason says he's not confused but Dougie thinks otherwise and asks him to leave.
Jason sees Ross on the way out and Ross soon goes in to Dougies room and asks when he's going to stop messing Jason around. Dougie shuts the door on Ross. Later, Jason is supporting Ziggy at a fashion show at the SU Bar where Ziggy is going to be a model. Ziggy is practising his runway walk as Ross and Dougie walk in. Ziggy uses his charms to get the female models to flirt with Jason whilst Ross is on red alart waiting for Dougie to snap. After some awkward flirting Jason moves away from the girls and Ross suggests that he leave before he witness the break down. As the fashion show starts Ziggys limelight is taken as a drunk Dougie hijacks the stage and embarasses himself. Jason tries to get him to calm down and Dougie absolutely rips him to bits. Ross drags Dougie outside and Dougie turns on Ross. Ross tells Dougie to give it all he's got and Dougie gets really personal. Dougie repeately tries to hit Ross before Ross gets him in a head lock and takes Dougie down to the ground where he starts crying. Ziggy flies out of the door in a rage, soon followed by Jason but they both stop when they see what's going on.
Diane and Alex have another fun and flirty date but when Tony catches wind of what's happening he approaches Diane. She tells him to stay away but Jude soon jumps in with evidence of Alex' threats. Diane turns on Alex and tells him to stay away from her. Alex sees Clark in the village and warns him that he's on his list but Clark is unfazed.
Later, Diane is returning from drinks with Myra when she hears someone following her. She picks up the pace but stops in her tracks as she sees a hooded figure at one end of the alley. The person walks away quickly but as she turns around someone else is stood behind her. They grab her by the throat and begin to strangle her until Jude and Tony are walking toward the flat and scare them off. Jude and Tony find Diane unconscious at the entrance to the alley.
Tegan returns from her trip and collects Rose from Graces. She asks how she was and Grace says she was a dream to be with and will have her any time. After another row over what happened Trevor walks out of the flat..
Grace is on a shift at the coffee shop and Esther asks whether she's okay and what she was thinking. Grace plays it down as nothing and says they'rre being dramatic. Moments later Tegan storms in and tells Grace that Trevor told her everything and that she will never see Rose again. When Trevor returns to the flat he finds Grace has destroyed it. She screams at him and tells him to leave, throwing a bag at him before breaking down amongst the destruction.
