WEDNESDAY MARCH

When Robbie tries to make amends with Nina, Ross tells her that Trevor has been making him sell drugs. Nina breaks down and reveals that he's been blackmailig her and sending her out as an escort. Robbie loses his tempter and confronts Trevor in the village - smashing him in the face.

Phoebe sees the entire thing and breaks it up but demands to know the whole truth or she will leave Trevor to get him. Robbie tells Phoebe the truth and she is disgusted with her friends but vows to keep it secret. She later sees Ross in the village and he denies all knowledge of it but is white as a ghost when he sees Trevor watching them.

Dougie notices the tension between them and corners Phoebe.

Patrick is ready for his first appearance in court and is feeling confident with Siennas support. When Dodger and Maxine see them together in the village Dodger flips and tells Sienna she is dead to him and he never warns to see her again.

Patrick suddenly loses his stride when he sees Holly, Dirk and Cindy. Patrick begs Holly to change her statement and says that he never intended any harm, convincing her that he believed their encounter to be consensual. Jude arrives as he is saying this and slaps him across the face stating that she is the most manipulative person she knows and wont be falling for any of it before questioning what kind of pervert has sex with a seventeen year old, consensual or not.

As the group arrive in court Patrick is both stunned and confused to hear the court announce the case of 'Blake vs Blake'. Sienna and Maxine exchange knowing looks as Nico comes out in to the court room.

Seth can no longer take the strain of battling THe McQueens and decides it's time to leave the village for good but not before making a quick pit stop. He visits Mercedes in prison with Bobby in a desperate attempt to wind her up, unaware that all he is doing is giving her the fuel she needs to fight for her freedom.

Seth meets with Esther and Sinead to say his goodbyes and as Esther recalls her worst ordeal she encourages Seth to move on from his feud with The McQueens or else it will ruin his life. He highlights that the Esther and Sinead aren't talking. As Seth leaves Sinead begs for Esthers forgiveness and Esther tells her "I'm no better than you right now" and walks away.

Before Seth gets in his car he is greeted by Michaela and Myra who reveal that he will be seeing them again soon because they're going to fight to get Bobby back.

THURSDAY MARCH 18 2015

Esther and Carley confront Trevor after discovering the full extent of what he has been doing to their friends. He laughs in their faces and reminds them that they're the ones who asked him to move a dead body and he owns them.

Esther decides it's time to tell Grace the truth and take Trevor down but as she reveals all she is unaware that Debbie is in the other room. Grace tells her not to worry and to leave it with her - she'll look after her but she owes her.

Debbie panics when Esther and leaves and is concerned for her niece but Grace tells Debbie she has to trust that she knows how to fix this. When Debbie leaves Grace opens her drawer to reveal that she got the wallet out of the bin. She takes it to the station.

Dougie becomes increasingly annoyed when Ross continues to avoid him and begins going through his stuff at halls. He finds a hell of a lot of drugs in his room and when Ross returns and confronts him Dougie questions why he carried on without telling him and reveals that he and Phoebe know what went down and would've been there for him.

Dougie flushes the remaining drugs down the toilet and sends Ross in to a panic. Ross reveals that Trevor has threatened to kill Dougie is Ross messes up but he says not to worry about him. He hands Ross his student loan and tell,s him to give that to Trevor, say you've sold it and be done with it. He makes him promise on Mayas life he wont continue to tell.

Unsure of how to get answers from Clark, Sinead turns to an old friend and calls a truce with Theresa, asking her for a favour. She needs her to seduce Clark and get some information on him.

Patrick denies the allegations made against him by Nico but she puts on a good show however he is more shocked to learn that Nico is just a witness and the 'Blake' in question is Sienna - she smiles sweetly at him and says "You didn't think you could pull my strings forever did you, Dad?". Holly takes to the stand and is grilled about her relationship with Patrick and whilst she almost buckles Harry arrives to show his support. Holly covers details such as his initial compliments and belittling her friends - Maxine recalls that he was the same with her. Patricks lawyers are strong and turn things around on Holly but he's too confident too soon as the judges call Sienna as a witness against him.

Carley is stunned when she recieved a phone call from her Mum. Dave has been found in a hospital outside of Chester.

FRIDAY MARCH 19 2015

Esther and Carley go the hospital to meet Carleys Mum, Jayne, she tells them that Dave was found by a random stranger in a ditch and was bought in weeks ago but with no I.D on him. Carley panics and wants to tell her Mum the truth about what they did but Grace arrives at the hospital and tells them not to worry about it or Trevor.

As Jayne sits at Daves bedside, Carley begins laughing and lashes out at her Mum for supporting him. Carley says she wishes he would die after all that he has done and tells her Mum that he got what he deserved. Jayne is shocked by this but Esther soon joins in as does Grace who tells Jayne she is lucky to have children and that Carley should be her number one.

After hearing about Ross' antics Greg takes DOugie and Ross to see his friends in prison. His friend is badly beaten and talks about what life is like on the inside, scaring Ross. Greg tries to warn Ross what a slippery slope he's on and warns that he'll be watching him eveyr step of the way.

Phoebe goes to halls to tell Nina and Robbie what's happened and there's a frosty atmosphere between her and Lucy. Lucy is shocked and seemingly unsettled that Dave is alive and says she's going for a walk, she is looking for her shoes and Robbie waves one of them in the air. Phoebe is taken back - she instantly recognises the hideous trainers and labels Lucy as her attacker.

Sienna has her day in court and is accompanied by her doctor who certifies that after five months in a psychiatric unit she is fit to be in court and will be relaying some of the things she has spoken about during her therapy. Sienna details the horrific things Patrick put her through as a child and the cracks soon begin to appear as he starts to look unwell.

The court breaks to discuss their verdicts after hearing Siennas statements and Patrick being confronted with imagery of the room Sienna was kept in at the mansion gave away his game.

When court reconvenes the Cindy, Jude, Dirk, Holly, Nico, Maxine, Dodger, Sienna and Darren wait with baited breath before hearing that Patrick has been charged for multiple offences including sex with a minor, kidnapping, sexual assault and perverting the court of justice. He is sentenced to eleven years in prison.

Outside the court house Dodger is confused and upset as to why he didn't know what had happened to Nico but soon realises that Nico lied under the guidance of Sienna and Maxine. Maxine tries to make him see that it was necessary but Dodger tells her that lies have torn his family apart for years and walks away from her.

Grace and Debbie raise a glass of champagne to each other outside The Dog as they see Trevor returning to his flat only to be arrested for Daves attack.

Theresa wakes up alone in bed after sleeping with Clark and sneaks up to the bathroom door to listen in on his phone call. She is stunned when she hears him talking to someone about arranging attacking on Sinead "just like you did with Diane".

Coming up next week...

- The McQueens get the offer of a lifetime...
- Liberty heads to the big brother house...
- The Lomaxes are stunned by an unexpected arrival...
- Lucy continues her descent to the darkside...
- Sinead comes for Clark and things get messy...

TRACEY LOMAX ARRIVES IN HOLLYOAKS

It's been a quiet few weeks for The Lomax clan but that's about to change with the arrival of their Aunt Tracey.

Tracey is Danny's absentee older sister who couldn't be further from Danny if she tried. Played by Zoe Lucker the fiesty party girl returned from a two year cruise "as soon as she could" (despite it being nine months after Sam and Danny's deaths) and moves herself in with her nieces.

'Tracey is a firecracker, an old school party girl the kind that would've been up until 6am with Tara Palmer Tomkinson and in the back of papparazzi shots for no reason' but it seems that Tracey also is still grieving for the loss of her sister and has actually come to Chester for answers and she begins asking a lot of questions and soon suspects that not everybody in the family is being honest with her.
DANIELS FAMILY REMAINING FULL-TIME

After being introduced as guests in January the Daniels family have been made full-time cast members. Only siblings Kaya and Dougie have featured prominently at this point but eldest sibling Greg will become heavily involved in stories with Darren, Nancy and Debbie.

Parents Alan and Marilyn will also shine as we see more of their decades long friendship with Myra, their history with Jack and revisit exactly why there's so much tension between Marilyn and Jude Cunningham.
"LIGHTER" SUMMER FOR THE STUDENTS

The students and the younger characters in general will be seeing a lighter summer in terms of content and appearances. The new HCC students asw ell as the Roscoe twins, Phoebe, Esther and Holly have been the shows central characters for the last six months in some dark stories.

These will largely come to a head in May before the guys begin to enjoy life more leaving room for the likes of Tony, Jude, Jack, Myra, Dodger and Maxine to shine after a quiet few months.

The McQueens in particular will have a crazy, crazy summer whilst Dodger and Maxine will undergo relationship struggles in the wake of Patricks sentencing and Louis McQueen will have his moment in the sun as an event in the village triggers major PTSD for the former soldier.

Dodger refuses to be the one to tell him the truth and it's up to Cindy to step up as she reveals that he was in a car crash which killed two other people. A devastated Dirk then learns that he had to have his left leg amputed from the knee down after it was too severely crushed to repair it. Dirk seems numb to the news and is more concerned about seeing the family of the victims who died.

Outside of his hospital room tensions are rising between Cindy and his kids as Dodger blames her for the accident and whilst Liberty tells Dodger to back off it's actually Holly who sides with him leaving Cindy devastated.

At work Alan is staying late in order to avoid going home. He asks Jude how she's coping following her Mum's death and she explains "It's death. It's part of life. Dawn, Dad, Max and now Mum. It's just how it goes you can't do anything about it". He asks if thats how she really feels and she pushes him about Maya but he shuts down. Later, they drink a bottle of wine and begin looking over files, Alan loosens up and tells Jude he hasn't been able to grieve for his daughter - nobody has because nobody can accept what happened. He tells her that Marilyn is losing her mind before kissing Jude. She rejects his advances in a moment of guilt and tells him that Marilyn loves him and he should love her back or put her out of her misery, with that, she leaves.

Ross is walking back from the shops when he sees Lucy leaving Trevors, she spots him and hurries off, spending the entire day avoiding him. Eventually he catches up to her by pretending to leave the student halls and waiting for her to leave her room. He grabs her and throws her in to his room telling her that he knows without a doubt she attacked Phoebe and wants to know why she keeps lying. She calls him a hypocrite to judge her as he's still been selling drugs. She says "the rush you get from selling drugs, from risking it all, that's what I get from fighting". He is horrified by what she says "Take up kick boxing you absolute mentalist" She laughs it off "That night changed all of us Ross, this is who I am now, if you don't like it - that's your problem but don't think I won't blow your world apart if you try and get in my business again".
A distraught Ross begins freaking out as Lucy leaves. He goes to call Dougie but then stops and pours all of the drugs down the sink.

THURSDAY APRIL 23
The reality of Dirks situation is beginning to set in for him as doctors discuss fitting a prostethic leg. Louis offers Liberty support by taking her to visit some of his old army friends who have to live with new limbs but it becomes very apparent that Louis' friends perhaps don't have such positive feeling towards his presence when one of them labels him a traitor.

Maxine asks Cindy how she's coping with everything and Cindy tells her that it's time to look after Dirk but is she putting on a brave face? Cindy makes a surprising turn when she heads to see Myra for support, Myra makes an unusually selfless act by offering to pay for Dirks rehabilitation out of their television down payment.
Nancy is all hot and bothered when she sees a shirtless Greg running through the village with Doug. She soon become flutered and drops her shopping which Dougie makes a joke of. Greg acts overly cocky but in a humorous way and as Darren looks on he isn't impressed. Later, Darren asks Nancy what she sees in Greg with Darren labelling him a 'clown'. Greg turns up at the pub in the same shirt as Darren which amuses Nancy.

Greg and Nancy head out to town for drinks but their humorous and romantic night is soon bought down when Greg gets a phone call from Kaya. Nancy goes with him to collect her from the police station, she's been caught shop lifting and asked him to pretend to be her Dad. As Greg is paying for petrol Nancy tries to bond with Kaya who is initially difficult until Nancy shows her a picture of her old tattoo which catches Kayas attention.

Leela and Tegan are suspicious but Ste thinks they should give her another chance because whether they like it or not she's family. Cameron makes his excuses not to attend and Leela agrees that it's best, telling him that Lotty is up to something.

As the dinner party gets under way there's an icey tension in the air. Lotty begins asking Leela about her history with Cameron and Peri changes the topic each time. Lotty turns her attentions to Ste and asks about his love life, Amy is visibly annoyed as he talks about his history and he lashes out asking what he problem is. Amy stands up and accuses Ste of being in love with Chris before storming out of the party. Lotty is pretty pleased with her work and leaves in a drunken mess. Cameron finds Lotty drunk in the village and gives her a sofa to sleep on, however when he's sleeping she climbs in to his bed.

Myra sees Jude in the pub and asks her why she hasn't been to see Dirk, Jude tells her she hardly knows him and to mind her own business and with that Myra parks herself up next to Jude and spends the rest of her day following her around. Jude starts telling Myra a bunch of facts about her various siblings before asking Jude what she knows about Tom. Myra tells Jude that life is too short and family is too important to "be an ice queen forever, just ask Cindy - she spent years doing the same thing and didn't have a friend in the world". Cindy is in the hospital waiting room on the phone to a funeral director when she sees Jude. They stare at each other for a while before Cindy bursts in to tears and falls to the ground.

Nancy tells Maxine that she has feelings for Greg and thinks he's a really sweet guy, believing him to have moved on from his past but as the girls toast moving on with their lives Nancy is taken aback when she sees Greg handing Trevor an envelope full of money.

MONDAY APRIL 27
There's an atmosphere in the air at Hollyoaks High School when Harry and Jason get in to a fight in the hall. Holly and Kaya both jump to Harrys defence and Kaya accuses of Holly of "stealing" Harry from her but when Holly says that they're just friends Harry is visibly hurt. Tom just so happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. All five of them are put in detention together.

Kaya is being her usual self and being particularly defensive about everything but Jason loses his cool and tells her that she's a trouble maker, a game player and a user to which all of the others agree. As Jason tries to turn on Holly she is quick to shut him down and tells him it's not her fault that he doesn't know whether he likes boys or girls - Kaya quickly realises that he slept with Dougie leaving her disgusted. Sick of all of the drama Tom shouts at them telling Kaya that she's a "horrible girl" and that her Mum doesn't deserve what she puts her through, he tells Jason to stop blaming Holly for his problems and tells Harry and Holly that they've "played playground boyfriend and girlfriend since we were little kids" and to get on with it.

Marilyn pulls Peri out of one of her classes and expresses concern that her grades have been slipping. Peri says that she doesn't want to go to the school anymore as she feels like she hasn't got any friends. Marilyn asks Peri about her mother and how she felt when she died and the two strike up a serious concersation before Marilyn tells Peri that she will help her with her studies but Peri needs to try and mend things with the friends she has lost.

Mercedes is full of nerves as she her trial begins. Her defense lawyer states that Mercedes killed Browning in self defense and that months of turmoil and a repeat attack from Silas 'broke' her psychy and made Mercedes confess to being a murderer. It's a rough first day as she is forced to relive aspects of her marriage with Browning and the defense questions her about her sexual relationship with his son.

TUESDAY APRIL 28
Mercedes trial is underway and after a gruelling first day things aren't look up as more and more of Mercedes past gets bought up therefore dragged in to the press but Mercedes knows how to play the game and shows shades of her former self when questioned about whether she framed Riley Costello, Mercedes bursts in to tears and confesses that Browning threatened to kill her family and actively attempted to murder her mother when Mercedes threatened to tell the truth. Myra takes to the stand to reveal how Browning shot her.

Jude surprises Cindy having arranged the entirity of her mothers funeral for coming Thursday. Cindy tells Jude that she doesn't know if she can go through with it because she doesn't want to leave Dirks bedside. Jude tells her that she can take on the world and highlights what a strong woman Holly is growning up to be, telling Cindy "However many family, however many men have come along you have been the one constant in that girls life so rather than blaming yourself for whatever downfalls she may have take some credit for what a brilliant woman she is becoming. That girl could stand against any storm, any bullets. She's a Cunningham through and through and so are you". Cindy thinks on Judes words and begins looking at photos on her phone before coming across one of herself, Lindsey and Mercedes.

Greg doesn't understand why Nancy is avoiding him until Darren passes comment about his involvement with Trevor. Feeling guilty, Ross approaches Nancy knowing that she has a soft spot for him. He tearfully confesses the entire dilemma save for the night of the accident and tells her that he wants to sort himself out and that Greg was simply paying off Ross' debts to Trevor. Nancy is furious but also sympathic explaining that she knows full well how hard Trevor is to say no to. Ross says that he's selling his laptop to pay Greg back but Nancy believes she has a better idea.

WEDNESDAY APRIL 29
Day three of Mercedes trial and the audience are growing. Cindy offers herself forward as a witness and reveals that Mercedes was saving her life, telling the room how Browning left her for dead and then attempted to kill her again. Cindy speaks of her bipolar disorder and says that it was her that 'blindly panicked' and convinced them not to tell the truth but that the guilt caused her to have a complete mental breakdown. When Mercedes relays the night she is forced to look Grace in the eye as she goes over the details leading up to his death, telling them that he had previous attempted to kill her and whilst she was fighting with Clare Devine, Browning who was "obsessed" with Mercedes and knew of their feud, murdered Clare.

Grace then offers herself as a character witness for Mercedes but the McQueens are somewhat shocked when, after spending ten minutes tearing Mercedes character to shreds, she tells them that Mercedes doesn't have it in her to kill in cold blood, recalling her support at the time of her fathers death she states "She's got too much to lose".

Nancy approaches Ross about holding a family fun day for the coming Friday in order to raise money in a legitimate way to pay Greg back. Greg is feeling particularly down about things feeling like he'll never escape his past but Ross and Dougie tell him to get over it and to come down on Friday. As usual things aren't running smoothly in the Daniels household as Kaya refuses to speak to Dougie without giving any particular reason whilst its painfully obvious that Alan is forcing a smile for Marilyn.

Lucy catches wind of Ross' fun day and tells him that he's "pathetic" but Phoebe who is nearby jumps to his defense. Feeling cocky, Lucy warns Phoebe that she might not be so lucky next time but she gets an unexpected left hook from Theresa who is listening to the entire thing. Theresa warns her that just because they work together doesn't mean she likes her and that she'll find out how nasty she can be if she goes near Phoebe again.

Ross and Phoebe go for coffee and Phoebe is taken by surprise when she realises how much detail Ross knows about Lucy working for Trevor, she soon realises that he has continued doing so and is disgusted with him but he begs her not to leave, telling her that he's in love with her.

THURSDAY APRIL 30
Phoebe has had enough of Trevors reign of terror over the village and decides it's time to take him down from the inside, asking Theresa to get her involved. When Phoebe realises that Theresa is working as a prostitute she is physically sick but blames it on a hangover. Determined to rescue her cousin from a world she's all too familiar with Phoebe offers to be a drug peddlar for Trevor but is he one step ahead of her? Trevor knows how head strong Phoebe is and sends Lucy in assignment to get information on her.

Lucy arranges to meet up with Phoebe at the student halls and makes sure she has an audience as she tearfully apologises and confesses to the attack on her saying that she's "been lost" since the night of the attack and needs help. Whilst Carley and Nina are disgusted, Phoebe and the boys interests are peaked. Phoebe credits her for being honest but Ross warns Phoebe to be careful of her especially after Lucy flashes him a wink on her way out of the door.

On the final day of Mercedes trial she is forced to relive the attacks from Silas. Seeing how distraught she is at recalling her time in the dungeon her family objects to the questioning but Mercedes insists they continue. Her time spent in a mental recovery unit following Mitzeees attack is raised and Mercedes admits that her confession over Browning came after Silas' second attack - she didn't want to risk losing her mind like she did last time and becoming a danger to others.

Amy returns from her Dads having not spoken to Chris or Ste during her absence. Chris berates her for not being in touch, telling her he was worried about her. She makes her apologies and tells him that she wants to the truth, asking whether he's been sleeping with Ste. He promises that he hasn't but she tells him she knows something is going on because he's a terrible liar. Chris tells Amy the truth that Ste kissed him but that it was stopped and that Ste knows he was wrong.

When Chris is out, after promising to leave it, Amy goes over to Ste's to apologise for her outburst and gives him the opportunity to tell the truth. When he fails to do so she begins bringing up the fact that he cheated on Rae, Noah and Doug with Brendan, the fact that he cheated on John Paul with Sinead and 'some random' and the fact that he constantly puts sex before anything else. Ste loses his temper with Amy but he's put in his place when she slaps him across the face as Leela walks in.

Amy reveals that she knows Ste kissed Chris and that she is disgusted with him telling him "It's always been us Ste and everytime I start moving on with my life you do something to drag me back seven years! I'm not some little girl who looks at you with doe eyes needs you in my life. I don't need you and now I don't want you". Leela is shocked at what she's seen but Ste notices something is up with her too. She hands him her phone and reveals a picture of Cameron sleeping next to a woman whose face is covered but has a tattoo of a rose on her chest.

FRIDAY MAY 1
As the family fun day arrives The Daniels, The Roscoes, The Lomaxes and The Students are all in attendance although the vibe of fun is certainly not in the air as tensions rise in all quarters. Marilyn makes comment how nice it is to do something together but Alan and Kaya couldn't be less interested particularly when Marilyn tries to make nice with Peri and Leela and Leela all but ignores her.

Ziggy, Darren, Greg and Carley show their competitive streaks as respective family team captains and the boys rivalry helps take Carley and the students to the lead after a series of activities. Kaya snaps at Dougie one too many times causing her him to call her out on what's bothering her when she announces at the top her voice that she knows he slept with Jason and so did she. The announcement happens to take place about five feet away from both of their families and all of the students causing a humiliated Jason to flee and an angry Alan to drag Kaya away.

The drama isn't over there though as a drunken Lotty spends the day clinging on to team Lomax and making a fool of herself infront of everyone. When she tries to steal a bottle of champagne from over the bar Nancy grabs it back from her and tears part of her top revealing a rose tattoo in front of Leela.

At the end of the drama Nancy presents Greg with the prize of £1,000 revealing the idea behind the day. SHe tells him that she may have this icey and stuck up exterior but she's a reformed bad girl and she married a reformed bad boy "people change, what you did was a good albeit really stupid thing". Finally the kiss.

Theresa is anxious as she awaits news of Mercedes trial and Trevor notes the tension between Lucy and Theresa. He sends Theresa to the shop and speaks to Lucy alone saying that he admires her 'firey streak'. He plays on her weaknesses and talks about the rush he gets from fighting, asking if she's ever killed. She seems taken back but soon becomes excited by the idea. Trevor tells her that if she walks free he wants Mercedes dead and Lucy is all too keen for the challenge.

In court Mercedes is expecting the worst after reading a particularly gruelling piece on herself in a gossip magazine attached to an interview with Mitzeee but her siblings and Myra tell her they have faith. Myra tells her that Jacqui is on a plane over ready to celebrate.

Mercedes bumps into Grace in the hall and asks why she spoke up for her. Grace says that Mercedes killed the man who destroyed her family "and besides, it's too quiet around the village without your cheap stilettos clacking around". They exchange understand smiles as Mercedes heads for the stands. The judge relays the facts of the case before approaching the jury who believe she acted in self defense and was mentally unwell.

The court hears that Mercedes sentence be terminated on condition of attending weekly mental assessments for a minimum period of six months until considered healthy

MONDAY MAY 4
Dougie and Ross are feeling pretty good about themselves following their successful match making with Nancy and Greg but their past is about to catch up with them and this time it's not Trevor. Twins Beth and Britney Parker who the boys had a summer romance during their travels, have tracked them down to Hollyoaks after moving to England from Australia.

For Dougie it's a great way to have a no holds barred sex life but for Ross it's another nail in for coffin for him and Phoebe particularly as he actually had a relationship with Beth where as Dougie just had a fling. Ross is taken back when the girls bring out drugs and Dougie informs the girls that they've moved on from that part of their lives but Beth clearly has other ideas.

On the day of Mercedes release the Channel 4 production company are ready and waiting for her right from the gates of the prison. John Paul expresses his concern that Mercedes might not be ready for such exposure but Nana and Myra are confident that she is. Michaela is already getting frustrated with the interference of camera crews and further frustrated with Theresas enforced presence for Mercedes staged arrival.
Out in the village Mercedes arrives by helicopter surrounded by a camera crew with many of the villagers looking on. Within minutes of the helicopter appearing the colour drains from Louis' face and he faints, quickly drawing the cameras too him. Liberty is too busy enjoying the limelight to see to him and John Paul comes to his rescue. When he asks what was wrong Louis brushes it off but JP knows that something deeper is going on.

As the crew attempt to talk to Mercedes she sees Trevor in the distance and panics, demanding that the crew stop filming. Theresa smiles at Trevor before running after Mercedes.

Elsewhere, Cameron is trying to make things up to Leela but she's having none of it and Peri has her back by telling her she wants nothing to do with him. Lotty is loving the damage she's causing and offers Cameron support in the hopes of getting him onside but he's having none of it.

TUESDAY MAY 5
Louis is keen to avoid Liberty and any sort of film which Myra puts down to him being shy. John Paul goes to visit him at school and is shocked to discover that he's called in sick especially after pretending to go work in the morning. When John Paul gets home he finds an answer message from Duncan asking whether or not Louis was attending their friends memorial that afternoon.

John Paul heads to the location of the memorial but doesn't see Louis until the crowds clear. Louis tells John Paul that their friend died because of him, because he was too busy paying attention to a girl he had started seeing whilst they were at war. John Paul says he couldn't have done anything but Louis says it makes no difference.

The twins are quickly beginning to make themselves felt in the village as Beth and Britney begin a drunken rampage. Dougie is enjoying being back in his old lifestyle after a hectic year but when Phoebe walks in on Beth aggressively kissing Ross against his will he loses his temper. He tells Beth that nothing will ever, ever happen between them and in her rage she tells him she aborted their child.

Nancy and Greg are heading off on their first date and have some surprises for each other as Nancy reveals that she married her sisters husband, raised her sisters daughter, had a three way relationship, had her life stolen by her friend and had an insane tattoo, Greg realises she may not be as straight laced as she seemed. When Nancy pushes about his reputation he confesses that he used to bully Darren, flirted with Cindy and Mandy to the point they fought over him and stole Gordan Cunninghams car and set fire to it. They family left the village in 1995 after Marilyn found out about Alan sleeping with Jude causing Greg to set fire to her flat.
He opens up about his stint in prison for beating a man almost to death and reveals that the reason was because the man, his friend, raped his sister Ella.

WEDNESDAY MAY 6
Liberty is relishing her continuation in the limelight and allows the camera crew of 'McQueens of England' to follow her in to the studio and asks Louis to come with her but things toon heat up as he loses his temper in a jealous rage over the way one of the studio hands is treating her. Liberty tells him that she has to get used to her being an object of desire but he brushes it off and says he's having a bad day.

THe producer of the show tells him that Liberty and the girls are the stars and that he wont be a part of the series going forward but when he loses his temper again the another producer decides he should be a highlight and installs hidden cameras around the studio and the McQueens house.

Beth and Britney decide to host a party in student halls and Lucy begins hovering around Beth to get at Ross. Dougie pushes Britney for the truth about what Beth said as she's a known liar and Britney tells him that it's the truth. Ross is distraught at the opportunity of missing out on having a family of his own and is about to take drugs at the party when Carley catches him. She reminds him of a kid they went to college with who got into drugs and got expelled and ended up in prison. She tells him that he'll have plenty of time to have a family and just because he lost his doesn't mean he's doomed.

Amy bumps in to Leela in the village and apologises for what she saw but Leela says not to. She tells her that she believes Cameron slept with Lotty and that men can't be trusted but asks that Amy not punish the kids by keeping Ste away. The girls bond over their distrust of men and Leela is shocked by hearing about Ste's history. Leela ends up in support of Amy and tells her that as long as it doesn't effect that kids she owes Ste nothing anymore and that's he's big enough to look after himself and make his own mistakes and face the consequences.

When Ste gets home Leela tells him that he is just like Danny, full of lies and a manipulator. What she doesn't know is that Lotty is in the house and now she believes Leela has something to do with Danny's death.

THURSDAY MAY 7
As Lucy parades her new finances around the halls and seems to be getting closer to Beth, Ross is getting close to rock bottom and when he sees Lucy handing Beth drugs he loses his temper and hits her in front of everyone. Ross reveals everything that Lucy has been up to and everything he has been up to. As Beth reacts badly to the drugs and collapses, Lucy flees the halls.

The girls are sickened at Ross' lies but Dougie comes to his defence stating that Ross has suffered enough and been bullied in to his actions whilst Lucy has actively sought to get involved with Trevor. Carley tells Ross she no longer trusts him and Dougie quickly turns on her saying this all started because she never went to the police about her step dad. As Britney waits at the hospital with Beth she tells Dougie that she never wants to see them again and that it's time for them to grow up.

'McQoE' wants to do a shoot in the village setting up interaction between Myra and Mercedes. Myras inability to act natural causes issues fo rthe shoot and Mercedes demands a break. As she goes for a walk she bumps in to Trevor who warns her that she will be dead within a month and that she shouldn't have come back to the village.
Feeling bad for not spending enough time with him, Liberty takes Louis to a hotel for the night and though things get off to a good start for the pair Liberty is attracting a lot of attention which is making Louis uncomfortable. Whilst they're sleeping Liberty awakens to find the door open and Louis naked in the hall. Realising that he is sleep walking she guides him back to the room but as she turns the light on and thefore the ceiling fan he freaks out and begins strangling her.

FRIDAY MAY 8
John Paul has already had enough of the interference of the crew in his home but whilst Nancy is wrapped up in Greg he realises he had very little escapes from the household and turns to Ste as a friend.

The former lovers talk about where things went wrong and their crazy life styles and Ste is upset when John Paul hits him with the same truths that Amy did. Ste doesn't get defensive however when John Paul suggests that he see a councsillor about his sex addiction. When John Paul asks how many people Ste has slept with in the last year the number astounds him as Ste confesses that he doesn't know exactly. John Paul realises that Ste must've have cheated on him more than he realised and Ste doesn't deny it.

Louis gets a rude awakening when Dodger smashes him in the face in teh middle of the village whilst a crew are filming the rest of the family. Louis has no recollection of what happaned and Liberty soon comes to his defense saying it was an accident.
A distraught Louis has no idea what's going on and freaks out, breaking up with Liberty on camera because he doesn't want to risk hurting her again. MONDAY MAY 11
Michaela has awoken in a less than pleasant mood and is making it everyones problem. Ziggy is desperate to get some screen time as production continues on the pilot for 'McQueens of England' but Michaela is actively blocking it "because I can".

Robbie is doing a stock take at the bar and quizzes Michaela over missing champagne which she denies and tries to turn on him. As she leaves she spots Ste in the village and decides that all of her anger will now be directed at him, calling him out for kissing Chris and bringing up his past woes with John Paul she spends the remainder of the day as his shadow and reminding him of his errors. Ziggy soon loses his cool with her though, calling her a spiteful brat and telling her he can't be with someone who treats people like that.

Liberty is called in to a meeting with her manager after Louis' out burst in the studio and suggests to her that she end her relationship with him before he becomes too much of a burden on her image ahead of her album launch. Liberty is at a loss as she's been pushing for a career in the U.K for years but she loves Louis. Maxine advices her against it telling her that she'll need Louis when the pressue kicks in. Liberty thanks Maxine for her support and for being an "awesome P.A". Within minutes Liberty is on the phone to her manager and tells him he's fired before instantly putting Maxine in the job but is Maxine ready?

Jack meets up with his friend, Colin, again and they begin going over the case. They reminisce about old times and Jack asks whether Colin knew that the Daniels were back in town. Colin seems particularly interested in this and asks if he has Alans contact details.

Frankie is getting ahead of herself planning Jacks retirement and all of the things they can do. Jack doesn't know how to tell her he's going back to work in his old field.

TUESDAY MAY 12
Desperate for a taste of normality Mercedes calls Darren, Michaela and Robbie in to a meeting about the running of the bar. She is bemused to see the new staff line-up and discover that takings have actually been pretty good for the business and Michaela is immediately defensive about losing her job. Mercedes soon calms her down when she tells her that she wants everyone to keep their jobs and wants to put all of her energy into making 'The Loft' a bigger brand and doing things right for once.

Darren is needless to say a bit surprised and is constantly putting his foot in it but he soon softens up and asks how she's coping. Mercedes asks whether he's got a year and he tells her he's got a few hours. The unlikely duo head to the park where Mercedes unloads about how overwhelmed she is by all of the attention and she has an aching feeling that it's all going to fall apart really quickly.

Darren fills her in on everything that's been going on during her absence and as the two of them exchange a hug a jealous Debbie looks and storms over, grabbing Mercedes away and slapping Darren. Debbie lays into Mercedes saying she's heard her reputation and Darren tells her to back off until Debbie refers to Darren as her boyfriend which throws him off completely.

Colin approaches Alan at his office about entering the legal side of their investigatory service but Alan doesn't want anything to do with him. Colin reminds Alan that he got Greg out of a lot of trouble back in the day but Alan doesn't respond well to blackmail. Later when Colin goes to approach Jack, Alan has been him to the punch. Jack tells Colin that he's not interested in doing anything that's not above board. When Colin tells him that Jack will not be able to work on the murder case without him Alan offers to be Jacks legal support to have the case handed over to him.

Alan finds Jacks passion for the case infectious and suggests they should "seriously talk business". As Alan leaves Frankie demands to know what 'business' means.

Robbie encourages Michaela to make more of an effort with Ziggy after their latest argument and so she heads back to the flat with Robbies key to make him dinner but almost burns the house down. As a plan B she decides to set some mood lighting and sexy music but is caught in her underwear by Debbie and Darren. Ziggy arrives minutes later to a humiliated Michaela but he laughs it off before telling her he loves her and asking her to move in much to Darrens dismay.

WEDNESDAY MAY 13
Frankie is angry about Jack going back on his decision but he talks her through the case. A young girl who went missing back in 1982 only parts of her belongings were found in 1985 and the case was closed in 1993 it was the last case that he worked on and he never moved on from it. He tells her that he believes new techniques and technology could make it easier to find out what happened. Frankie is sympathic but concerned telling him that she's seen what this work does to people but when Jack takes her to meet the girls mother, who he has remained in contact with, she changes her mind after seeing that the mother hasn't been able to move on.

As they return home Frankie calls Debbie and asks to see her. She apologises to Debbie for the way she's treated her and tells her that she loves her.

Mercedes takes Michaela for a drink to celebrate moving in with Ziggy but the happy mood is soon cut off when Mercedes sees Theresa leaving Trevors flat and kissing him goodbye. Mercedes storms over to her cousin and tears in to her for mixing with Trevor after all the trouble she's caused the family but Theresa is taking none of it and tells Mercedes that the family disowned her months ago and she owes them nothing.
Mercedes soon highlights that they gave her everything and she blew it but Theresa hits her back with the same comments.

Mercedes slaps Theresa just in time for paparazzi to catch it. Later, Theresa is complaining about Mercedes to Trevor and he tells her she's not worth it but soon makes a call to Lucy to come in and see him.

Dodger isn't too confident about Maxine taking on the job as Libertys manager especially now that he is going to be running the emporium whilst Dirk recovers but Maxine insists that she can do it. Dodger goes to see Dirk at the hospital and tries to lighten the mood with the madness at home but Dirk doesn't say a word. As Dodger pushes him to talk he just gets angry and ends up thrashing about in a rage before falling out of the bed revealing his amputation to Dodger for the first time.

THURSDAY MAY 14
Nana and Myra are cooking a dinner for Michaelas last night at the house and have invited a camera crew in but the girls are insistant that they stop filming and allow them some privacy. Michaela becomes irrate with the shows producers after Myra had signed an access all areas pass and so Michaela decides to hit her Mother with some home truths about how disrespectful it was of her to sign them up for the show and allow such a breach of their privacy during such a hard time. When Myra tells the cameras it's time to switch off Michaela insists they staff on and broadcasts that Mercedes doesn't deserve fame because all she's ever done is ruin lives whilst Myra has raised them as thieves and liars.

When Myra looks to her other children for support Mercedes and John Paul remain silent and she storms out of the house. The producer tells her that it was a great performance but Michaela ends up punching him in the face. Mercedes ends up calling off the show completely.

Leela is still unwilling to talk to Cameron after realising that he slept with Lotty but Cameron swears that nothing happened and when he woke up with her in his bed he kicked her out. Tegan is uncharacteristically supportive of Cameron telling Leela that she doesn't trust Lotty but Leela is having none of it.

Dirk is beginning the first day of his rehabilitation and his family are there to support him despite his attempts to push them away. It becomes too much for Liberty who can't stand to see him in this state but when she turns to Louis he is unable to offer his support.

Dodger pushes Dirk to try harder as Dirk believes that his misfortune is the worlds way of punshing him for how Will turned out, Dodger tells him that Will was his own person and made his own choices. Cindy brings Hilton to the hospital and forces Dirk to hold him telling him that he had better get it together to be able to play football with him and play with him because she isn't getting her nails dirty. Dirk agrees to try and he really does but when he falls he demands everyone leave and gives up on himself.

FRIDAY MAY 15
Day one of Michaela living with Ziggy and she's already getting under Robbie and Jasons feet as she constantly runs around the house singing, eating their food and creating a mess. Robbie is determined to get her out and attempts to be a peace maker between herself and Myra by extending an invitation for tea but when she arrives she is greeted with a frosty atmosphere.

Nana sees an upset Myra in the village and tells her that Michaela is just playing up but John Paul interrupts and reminds Myra that when Carmel died they agreed to turn over a new leaf and that doesn't involve basking in the glory over Mercedes getting away with murder.

Myra goes to apologise to Michaela and Robbie thinks that he has managed to get rid of her but Myra encourages Michaela to stay at the flat telling her she's not her little girl anymore, she's a woman and she's proud of her.

Ross bumps in to Phoebe in the coffee shop and is particularly coy, she tells him that she heard what happened with the twins and tells him that he'd have been a good a Dad and it was cruel for her to have said what she did. Ross blurts out to Phoebe that he's in love with her but she tells him she can't be hurt by him again.

Lucy's MS is playing up and Trevor doesn't have the patience when she repeatedly misses "meetings" and seems that she is not commited. Desperate to prove her worth Lucy follows Mercedes home and smashes her over the head with a crow bar but is interrupted before the second blow as she realises that Mercedes wasn't alone - she was filming a sequence for the show. A panicked Lucy sprints away from the scene as the crew rush to Mercedes who is unconscious and covered in blood.

MONDAY MAY 18
The McQueens rally around Mercedes who is currently in a coma. The camera crew have been particularly unhelpful with their witness statements and as Myra is about to call off the entire thing it's Michaela who convinces her otherwise as she releases the footage of the attack on her blog and pleads for witnesses.

Theresa awkwardly approaches the hospital and meets Phoebe outside at her own request. Phoebe tells Theresa she knows that ti was Lucy but she needs help to prove it. Theresa says she's not getting herself involved in things like that as 'Trevor would flip'. Phoebe questions where Theresas loyalties lie and Theresa laughs in her face but as Phoebe walks off it's clear that Phoebe has got to her.

After months of an occasional physical relationship Tony decides it's time to take Jude on a date but she's not particularly keen on the idea as Cameron repeatedly winds her up. To avoid and discomfort Jude invites Cameron along too but when Jude sees Tony's face she realises that he actually likes her and bails on the night.

Back at their flat Cameron asks Jude what she's afraid of and Jude reluctantly opens up to him about the fact that she's in love with a married man and 'doesn't trust men'. Cameron tries to convince her that Tony is one of the good guys but she reminds him that he has been married to her sister twice and had an affair with his own step-daughter.

There's a strange vibe in the student halls as Lucy seems to be re-attaching herself to her old friends, trying to spend time with all of them like nothing has gone on and when she gets the cold shoulder she breaks down in tears and plays the victim telling them she's "gone crazy" since that night.

Carley, Dougie and Nina are sympathic but Ross and Esther have their suspicions.

TUESDAY MAY 19
Camera footage begins circulating of Mercedes attack and Theresa notices a change in Trevors behaviour. Trevor tells her that he's tired and heads out but whilst he's gone she begins looking through his stuff, unable to find anything she sends Lucy a text message and asks her to come over.

Lucy comes to the flat looking particularly anxious and Theresa hurries her in. Theresa tells Lucy that Trevor has gone to the hospital to finish Mercedes off and even though it's written all over Lucy's face that she is guilty she plays it cool and says she doesn't know what THeresa is talking about. Theresa starts bad mouthing Mercedes to gain Lucys trust and she starts to loosen up until Trevor arrives and is clearly furious with her. He demands that Theresa leave the flat.

Trevor tells Lucy that she is going to go to the hospital and finish Mercedes off or he will finish her off. He is unaware that Theresa has left the intercom phone off the hook and has heard everything.

Jude wants to make things up to Tony and invites him to come over to watch some films and when he's there she makes it clear that they are only ever going to be friends but that he is an important person to her. Tony says he feels like he's going to be alone forever and Jude tells him that he's not alone and that what they've got "is fine" reminding him that he doesn't need to get married and fall in love with everyone and sometimes he can just 'have fun'.

Tom is out in the village taking photos as he bumps in to Greg who asks what he's up to. He tells him about the book he wants to make about all of the murders in the village and whilst initially taken back Greg actually becomes quite interested in the idea and asks whether he's ever heard of Jenny Baldwin (the girl in Jacks case) and reveals that she has been missing for decades and nobody knows what happened - Greg thinks he's having a bit of fun but has no idea that he is preaking Toms interest in a huge way.

Tom asks Greg to come with him to the woods and he takes him to the spot where he found India. Greg is shocked as Tom reveals quite how much death he's been exposes too and wonders how he's so together. Greg walks Tom home and is greeted by Nancy who asks what they were doing together. Greg seems impressed by Tom which equally impresses Nancy.

WEDNESDAY MAY 20
Mercedes finally awakens and remembers nothing of the attack and whilst she's initially weak the real Mercedes soon shows her face as she proclaims "I'm made a lot of enemies, there's a hell of a lot of people who want to see the back of me for good - but I aint goin' nowhere. I'm Mercedes McQueen and I'm gonna use this show run down anyone who reckons they can get in my way".

Whilst Myra is happy to Mercedes back and fighting her siblings are more cautious. The family are told to leave Mercedes to rest so that she can get better before her release. Later, as Mercedes is sleeping Lucy enters her room and looks at her coldly. "I'm sorry but it's me or you". As Lucy takes a pillow and places it over Mercedes head Phoebe appears at the door as Theresa comes out of the bathroom, Phoebe proclaims "I pick you".

A panicked Lucy tries to cover up but it's over for her. Theresa tells her she's a terrible liar and that she knew she couldn't trust her whilst Phoebe tells her that the police are on their way. Lucy slams past Phoebe and sprints out of the hospital before the girls can catch up with her.

Esther arrives at the student halls to see Carley and finds the place ins a state, she calls out her friends names and finds Lucy in her room frantically packing her things. Lucy says she's dropped out of Uni and is going travelling but Esther doesn't believe her. Carley arrives shortly after and apologises to Esther for being late. She sees the chaos and asks whats going on, seconds later sirens sound in the background. As Esther goes to the window, Lucy grabs Carley who screams - she has a gun to her head. Lucy claims that this is all Carleys fault and warns Esther that she will shoot Carley if Esther follows her.

Esther slyly watches from the door and sees Lucy head for the roof. She heads to another stair case and sprints up to the roof, reaching the top before the other girls. Esther tries to plead with Lucy who says that everything is their fault and nothing was wrong until she met them. Esther tries to appeal to her better side but the police downstairs are sending her in to a frenzy. The other students have gathered and Ross disappears from the crowd. Phoebe sees him climbing up a fire escape and Dougie tries to keep her calm.

Lucy moves closer to the edge with Carley as she begins to panic. Ross falls down as he gets up on the roof causing Lucy to panic and shoot him. Carley uses the opportunity to escape. As Esther and Carley rush to Ross' aid Lucy looks down and realises her fate. She apologies to her friends before spreading her arms and falling backwards. The girls are stunned.

THURSDAY MAY 21
Phoebe goes to visit Ross in hospital and tells him that he's an idiot but that she loves him. Ross tells her that he hopes it doesn't take a grand gesture like getting shock to open her eyes everytime things go wrong between them.

Greg is particularly proud of Ross but Kaya is absolutely furious at him after what happened with Maya and Dougie has some choice words for him too. Ross knows he has to get his life back on track for good and that family are the most important thing. He apologises to Kaya and asks her whether she can help him with something awesome.

Later in the day Kaya rushes over to Phoebe and tells her that she has to come quick. A panicked Phoebe runs to Ross' room only to find it filled with candles and flowers. Kaya leaves the room as Ross wheels himself over to Phoebe who is particularly confused.

"Phoebe McQueen I am an idiot by sunlight, candlelight, uv light - especially uv light - I have no idea where I'm going or what I'm doing most of the time. I'm always in trouble and I don't know a good thing when I've got it, except for now because you're a good thing and you get me in the good kind of trouble and I don't care where I'm going or what I'm doing as long as it's with you"

"Don't you dare propose"

"Phoebe McQueen will you do me the honour of being my girlfriend until I finish University"

"You what?"

"Then I'll ask you to be my wife"

"Is this a proposal or what?"

(dead silence)

"Ross, I agree to accept your proposal of one day maybe proposing to me if we both avoid prison and death by mental lesbian until then"

Elsewhere, Carley and Esther anxiously wait at halls as Lucy's brother Luke arrives to collect her things. He apologises to them on her behalf and explains that they'd hoped she was better, telling them that she had a psychotic break when she was sixteen after their father was killed during a burglarly at their house. Lucy was alone with him at home and witnessed the entire thing envoking a violent rage within her.

As they're talking Trevor walks in to the halls with flowers to offer his condolences. He is met with a hostile reception before Esther explains that Lucy isn't dead as she landed on a wheelie bin which broke her fall. As Esther takes Trevor outside and warns him to stay away telling him his business with them is done, Luke quizzes Carley over who he is and she lets slip that he is the man who got Lucy in to her recent streak of behaviour.

Mercedes is shocked to get a visit from Grace who is the one to deliver the news that Trevor told Lucy to get rid of her. Mercedes seems shocked that Grace knew but Grace says that she's been watching Trevor and tells her "He probably only asked her because that cousin of yours was too busy out on the streets to do it". Later, Grace mocks Trevor in the village telling him "Did you really think you'd kill Mercedes with a slap to the head by some kid? That womans got nine lives. Your losing your touch Trev, no wonder your Mrs sold you out".

Trevor returns to the flat and finds Theresa waiting. She plays all innocent but he grabs her violently and throws her out, warning her that if she dares go near him again he will kill Kathleen-Angel.

FRIDAY MAY 22
Sirens sound around the village as people gather outside the dog watching in awe as flames engulf the flats next to 'The Dog'. Mercedes, Grace, Theresa, Tony, Esther and Luke all watch from the crowds with blank expressions as a stretcher is pulled out with Trevor on it. A paramedic declares that he has a weak pulse. Grace looks shocked. The paramedics seem confused as they state he has a serious injury but not from the fire, it's a gunshot wound. Mercedes, Esther, Tony and Luke all way as Grace and Theresa continue staring into the flames

EARLIER THAT DAY

Trevor is having a nightmare of a day and everyone is determined to make it worse. Mercedes bombards Trevor with her film crew every chance she gets and is desperate to tip him over the edge in public but he waits until they call a filming break before grabbing her by the throat and telling her that she might have nine lives but he'll happily kill her nine times.

Grace comes to Mercedes rescue and Trevor queries when they became best mates. Trevor tries to wind them both up reminding them of everything they hate about each other including why Claire was dead. Grace turns on him but he's had enough of her and tells her that he never loved her and that she was 'useless to him' now that she's a 'barren waste of space'.

Trying to shake his day off Trevor heads to the pub where Frankie is quick to dismiss him. He reveals everything Esthers been up to over the last several months from the run in with big bob to the night of the attack and everything in between, telling Frankie that Esthers not her "innocent little grand daughter". Esther looks Trevor right in the eye and tells him "You're right I'm not innocent and you don't scare me. I've lived through worse bullies than you so grow up and get lost".

Luke is sniffing around Trevor who notices pretty quickly and asks who he is but Luke walks away. Later, Theresa is in the park with Kathleen-Angel when her phone rings. She turns her back for one minute and Kathleen is gone. Trevor approaches Theresa with Kathleen in his arms and gives Kathleen a kiss before telling her to go and play with her ball. Theresa tells him to stay away and he tells her that he's had it with her family and he's going to kill every single one of them "starting with the easiest". He waves at Kathleen as Luke watches.

Luke follows him once again before asking whether he's got a thing for picking on girls. When Trevor discovers who he is he laughs at him before walking away. On his way home he bumps into Harry and Tony who are playing football, Harrys ball accidentally hits Trevor and he flips out and lays into him. Tony pulls him off but Trevor goes for him too and tells them they're both dead "I'm sick of seeing your muggy face around 'ere! I should've killed you when I had the chance. Infact you know what? I'm going to kill both of you, you and your little brat"

Theresa arrives back at the McQueens with Kathleen-Angel and is distraught. Mercedes rushes her in the door making sure nobody sees them. Grace is already there and Theresa is confused. Mercedes tells Theresa that they're going to get rid of Trevor once and for all "here's the plan..."

That night Trevor finally returns home, lights a bunch of candles and starts to run a bath. Minutes later there's a knock at the door. He opens it but nobody is there. As he goes to his room he confronts someone who is standing there "How did you get in here?". The person who is wearing a black hood and black gloves pulls out a gun and shoots him. As the person leaves they throw a key at him. A weak Trevor tries to reach for his phone but pulls a candle into his laundry basket.

MONDAY MAY 25
It's a strange day in Hollyoaks. The students are off put by the presence of Luke Carpenter who has decided to crash in his sisters room whilst he awaits further news on her condition. Uncomfortable with the situation Nina has gone to stay at Robbies. Dougie isn't easily phased and goes about his every day routine of bringing a various mix of girls and boys back and walking around almost or completely naked. Ross is insistant on Phoebe being there at all times after leaving hospital and Phoebe makes Luke feel particularly unwelcome which causes Carley to sympaphise with him and try to get to know him.

Over the course of the day she begins to understand a lot of Lucys dark past and almost feels sorry for her but Luke says that she shouldn't.

Tony is behaving partiuclarly strangely even for Tony and it's not going un-noticed by Harry who tells Darren that he thinks his Dad is up to something. Never one to miss an opportunity Darren asks Tony for a drink and when he avoids it Darren spends the day shadowing Tony and trying to get under his skin but he instent just invokes Tonys temper.

Mercedes has called off all filming for the week stating that she is sick. She is desperately trying to get hold of Grace but to no avail. Debbie is partiuclarly unhelpful and sends her on a wild goose chase but Mercedes soon realises what she's up to and forces Debbie to reveal the truth about Graces location.

Grace has spent the day at Trevors bedside in the hospital, confessing to him that she still loves him. Mercedes arrives in a rage but is simmered down when she sees Grace who reveals that he may never wake up. Mercedes is thrown by the site of Trevor attached to so much machinery.

TUESDAY MAY 26
Marilyn and Kaya come to the halls and try to convince Ross to come and stay at the house with them so they can look after him. He thanks them but says it's time for him to stand on his own two feet and tells them he is considering going to "therapy or rehab or something that a doctor would make you do when your life gets to a point that you're being shot by your mental lesbian roomie on the roof of your college".

Marilyn is surprised to learn the full extent of what was going on from Dougie and isn't impressed that Alan and Greg knew but she agrees to put it behind her for Ross' sake. Marilyn tells Daniel and Kaya it's time to start this year again and move on from all the bad but can she?

Nana and Myra are mythed by the sudden reappearance of Theresa and the amount of time she's been spending with Mercedes and at the house. Myra determines that Theresa is just after more screen time on the show but Nana believes it goes deeper than that and tells Myra the girls are up to something.

Myra is pushing for answers and uses Kathleen-Angel as a bargaining chip but Mercedes tells Myra to but out and informs her that Theresa is moving back in.

Cameron spots a lonely looking Tom out in the village and returns to the flat to an even lonlier Peri. Despite his issues with Tom he encourages Peri to reach out but she's having none of it. Cameron sneaks Peris phone and texts Tom asking if he wants to come over for tea.

A clearly nervous Tom arrives to a very confused Peri and they soon start fighting before Cameron intervenes and reminds them that they used to be best friends.

WEDNESDAY MAY 27
Dougie is becoming concerned with the amount of time Carley is spending with Luke as he notes the obvious spark between them. She acknowledges that he never interferes with her life unless he is serious and promises to be careful. He has clearly got inside her head as she starts reading everything Luke says and does and becomes visibly un-natural around him.

Carley admits that it is a bit strange that they are getting on so well considering that his twin sister tried to kill her a week ago and he makes a joke about baggage and reminds her that they're twins but they're not the same person "I'm the good twin".

Leela is impressed that Peri's grades at school seem to be improving dramatically but Cameron tells her that he is worried she isn't socialising enough which Leela brushes off but Cameron asks when was the last time Leela heard Peri mention a friend.

Leela tries to play "best friend Mum" with Peri but she is flat out ignored. When Leela learns that there is a school disco on that week and Peri isn't going she shares Camerons concerns.

Tegan bumps in to Grace on the steps and after an awkward moment Tegan asks how Trevor is. The two get to talking and eventually call a truce with Tegan saying she knows how hard times must be right now. Grace asks if she can hold Rose and Tegan reluctantly allows her.

Tegan attends the hospital with Grace who tries to use Rose to wake him but it's no use and Grace breaks down.

THURSDAY MAY 28
Leela bumps in to Marilyn in the village and asks whether Peri has been okay at school. Leela is shocked to learn that Marilyn has been tutoring her but Marilyn says that Peri has actively chosen to isolate herself and it's better that she do that and focus on studying than do that and focus on letting her past rule her future.

Kaya meets her Mum to get lunch money and Marilyn encourages her to invite Peri to the dance. Kaya says that she's not going to a school disco and Marilyn gives her "the look". Lotty is listening in and bumps in to Kaya later, she makes some comments about Peri to get her talking and Kaya reveals what happened between Peri and Maya.

Tonys odd behaviour continues as Cameron notices him hiding his phone everytime someone goes near him at work. He and Nina decide that he must be seeing someone and start winding him up about it. Harry asks them whether he's been behaving badly and they tell him he's got a secret lover on the go.

Harry doesn't believe this is true and asks his Dad outright whether he's got mixed up in drugs again which stuns him and Cameron who is nearby.

Peri reluctantly waits for her forced friend date with Kaya. Marilyn drops her off and she waves goodbye with a smile. As soon as Marilyn goes Kaya changes into a far more adult outfit and tells Peri she's going out. Peri says she has no I.D and Kaya laughs at her telling her she'd never hang out with her.

Tom is walking by and comes to Peris defense calling Kaya "a sad little girl who thinks she's a woman". Kaya storms off and Peri thanks Tom. They sit at the fountain and share Toms chips before Peri breaks down about how lonely she's been.

FRIDAY MAY 29
Carley tells Esther that Lucy has regained consciousness and Luke wants her to go and visit Lucy with him. Esther tells Carley that she's being crazy and that she should stay the hell away from that family but Carley says she feels like she needs to see her.

As they arrive Lucy is not happy to see Carley and calls Luke a traitor for not finishing her off like "any decent brother would do". Lucy begins digging up details of their childhood and what a coward Luke was because he let her down and let all the bad things happen. Luke ends up slapping Lucy and tells her that she is an adult and needs to start taking responsibility for her own actions and that she can't just "flip out and take on the world" everytime it's not going her way.

Lucy tells him she never wants to see him again and warns Carley "you think I'm bad? I'm the good twin".

Tonys strange behaviour begins to make sense as he surprises Harry with a car for his seventeenth birthday "It's a month late Dad". He apologises for being secretive but wanted it to be a surprise. Harry still isn't convinced though and when Tony leaves his laptop open he looks at Tonys e-mails and sees "28 messages deleted" on the screen. He is about to check the recycle bin when Tony walks in.

Later, Harry asks to borrow the computer in the office at 'The Hutch' and begins routing through things. The computer is open on Tony's e-mails and there are dozens from Trevor. When Harry clicks on one of the links they're gone.

Theresa cautiously approaches Grace at the hospital and asks whether she is going to switch off his life support. Debbie furiously removes Theresa and berates her for being insensitive until Theresa pulls the innocent act and reminds her that she was Trevors most recent girlfriend.

All three girls are togther when they recieve the news that Trevor is going in to organ failure and needs a kidey donor to survive.

MONDAY JUNE 1
After discovering that Trevor needs an organ donation Grace is terrified that she will die and even more terrified when she disccovers that she is not a match. The truce between herself and Mercedes looks like it will be over soon as Mercedes asks why Grace has suddenly changed her mind after plotting to get rid of him just a week ago.

Leela comes to see Grace at the hospital and tells them off the record that some evidence was found in Trevors flat. A womans earring was stuck in the welcome mat at the front door and the police are currently checking it for DNA.

Grace and Mercedes start to panic and Mercedes asks "What if..." but Debbie enters the room with Esther. Esther tells Grace that she's sorry for what's happened and Grace questions why she would be sorry, insuating that she had something to do with it but Esther says that she's sorry because for all the bad things he's done Trevor was at his best when he was with her and they both looked after Esther.

Chris takes Leah, Lucas, Charlie and Oscar out for the day to get to know his nephews and is taken back by how astute Charlie is and how much he recalls of his life. When Leah joins in he quickly decides that a move to Canada is out of the question as he wants to provide them with some stability for once.

As Chris bonds with the kids Nancy asks Amy how married life is going and Amy tells her all about the stress with Ste. Nancy tells Amy that her and Ste always sort it out but Amy says she's not sure she wants too this time.

Amy reaches to get something out of the cupboard and feels a sharp pain in her stomach. Amy tells Nancy it's been happening a lot recently but that it also happened with the other kids though Nancy isn't convinced and insists Amy make a doctors appointment.

TUESDAY JUNE 2

Chris sees Ste in the village alone. He is pouring out cans of beer into a drain and tells Chris that he has been really tempted to get wasted because he has nothing else to do. Ste says that he has no friends left in the village and when hes with the kids they're just keen to go home. Chris commends him for having the strength not to relapse and tells him that he is his friend.

When Chris gets home he tells Amy what he saw and pleads with her to make amends with Ste for the sake of the kids. He keeps pushing until she agrees and goes to see him, forgetting her doctors appointment. Amy gets to the door but recieves a phone call from the school that Leah is ill and she rushes off before Ste can answer the door.

Esther is rallying around trying to convince people to become an organ donor for Trevor much to everyones bemusement. Frankie tells her that she is mad but Esther reminds her that she'd be dead if it wasn't for a donor.

The villagers are all keen to say no to Trevor as Myra reminds Esther of all the horrible things he's done but Esther is quick to list the flaws of those in present company (Myra, Darren, Robbie, Frankie) and asks whether anyone would want to give them a donor if they needed it. Whilst it mostly falls on death ears Darren volunteers until Frankie reminds him that his heart condition will mean he isn't viable.

Esther finally gets through to someone - Luke - though Carley is suspicious as to why he would give an organ to the man who took his sister down such a dark path. Luke tells her that he doesn't want Trevor to die because one day he wants Lucy to look her past in the eye and deal with it.

As Luke, Carley and Esther return from the hospital Tony is leaving work and pulls Esther aside asking how Trevor is doing. When she tells him that Luke wasn't a match Tony heads to the hospital and asks to be tested.

WEDNESDAY JUNE 3

After discovering that he is a match for Trevor, Tony breaks the news to Harry is furious and Tony asks him to calm down Harry reminds him that just a week ago Trevor beat him up and reminds him of Morocco. Tony tells Harry that they are good people and letting someone die isn't what good people do but Harry questions whether Tony really is a good person before telling him that Trevor deserves to die. Was he at the flat that night?

Harry is raging through the village as he bumps into an exhausted looking Grace. He tears in to her telling her that she should pull the plug as Trevor has done nothing but cause misery for everyone since the day he arrived in the village. Grace can feel the crowds looking at her - she knows it's true. Robbie is nearby and pulls Harry in to 'The Loft' and asks what he's playing at. Robbie warns Harry "I've been in enough trouble to know when mores coming! If someone has been shot don't stand in the middle of that village shouting off about wanting them dead because if you done it or not people will think you did".

Darren is in the office and hears the conversation.

Leela is having a day of it after being asked to come in to work to speak to her superior. She bumps into Lotty who is being her usual self. She pesters Leela about doing something together as a family but Leela reminds her that the family don't like her. Lotty quickly turns nasty on Leela and tells her that she tried to convince Sam and Danny to get rid of her because it was a 'waste' of Danny's talents to become a father so young. Leela headbutts Lotty in the middle of 'Price Slice' and warns her that if she comes near her family again she'll regret it.

Leelas day goes from bad to worse as she gets to work and her boss approaches her about discussing the evidence found at Trevors flat. Leela tells them that she was just telling her neighbours as a friend to let them know the police were dealing with it. Her boss tells her that evidence is a confidential matter until released by the police and that she has jeapordised the case. They recall several absences over the last year and make the decision to terminate her form the fire department effective immediately.

Frankie is cooking a dinner for the family and is particularly displeased about Luke being bought along as she repeatedly makes remarks about Lucy and makes everyone uncomfortable. Nancy asks Carley if she's okay and Carley says Frankies been really good to her so she doesn't feel right calling her out on her behaviour but Nancy tells her that "she's beyond used to being told she should shut up".

When Frankie goes on a rant about mental health and how you should be able to spot these things and lock people up Nancy reminds her about Jakes illness. After a long and awkward silence Frankie changes the subject "Trivial Pursuit anyone?".

THURSDAY JUNE 4

Ste arrives to walk Leah to school and ends up in another fight with Amy and it's obvious Leah is sick of it. At school Leah repeatedly plays up until the teacher sends her out of the room and then she sets off the fire alarm.

Amy and Ste both seperately arrive and are frustrated to see eachother in the headmistresses office. She tells them that this is the latest in a long line of bad behaviour from Leah and that Lucas isn't much better behaved. As Ste and Amy begin throwing the blame Leah screams at the top of her voice until everyone goes quiet. She shockingly tells them both to grow up and stop being children. The head mistress tells them that perhaps they need to have a talk and takes Leah out of the room.

Ste is the first to speak and pours his heart out to Amy telling her how hard it's been not seeing her everyday stating "I love the girls, my sisters but...they don't me like you do! I watch them together laughing about things that happened before I even knew they existed and I think - where's Amy? She's my sister...my inappapropriate sister because we had sex but...my sister". Amy tells him that she can't get past his betrayal because she trusts him more than anyone, even Michaela and he done the most unthinkable thing.

They return silence once more but it's soon broken as Amy falls to the floor in agony and begs Ste to call an ambulance for the baby.

Luke is hanging around at the halls with Dougie and Carley when he recieves a phone call that Lucy will be discharged from hospital today and will have her hearing next week. Luke is clearly rattled as he confessed to feeling guilty that he wants her to be locked up this time.

Dougie can spot that things are getting real and excuses himself. Carley tells Luke he's right to think and blood doesn't mean you have to side with someone when they're wrong. Luke confesses that he has feelings for Carley and they end up sleeping together.

Tony is keen to make amends with Harry and soon notices that he hasn't used his car. Harry tells him he doesn't want a car that's bought with drug money and tells Tony that he knows something is going on with him and Trevor as he saw the e-mails. Tony rages at Harry who storms out, knocking in to Darren on his way. Darren tells Tony that they need to talk but Tony tells him it's a bad time.

Later, Tony finds Harry at the top of the arch. Harry asks how he knew where to find him and Tony tells him that everytime Harry used to come and stay him, Holly and Tom always hid on the arch and it used to scare the life out of Cindy. Tony tells Harry that Trevor has been selling him dodgy stock for the restaurant on the cheap and that he deleted the e-mails because he was worried that if Trevor did die then it would be investigated. Tony promises Harry that had nothing to do with it. Harry tells Tony that he needs to tell him something but is interrupted by his phone ringing - it's Darren. Tony looks at Harry with concern. When he hangs up Tony asks where Harry was on the night of the fire and Harry quickly tells him he was with Robbie.

Tony heads in to the hospital ready for his donation.

FRIDAY JUNE 5

Nancy accompanies Chris to the hospital to visit Amy and asks why Amy never went to her appointment. Chris soon realises that he made her miss the appointment and feels awful. Amy tells Chris that she had to have her appendix out and that's what was causing the pain and that the baby is just fine.

Ste goes to see Tony as he awakens from his operation and tells him he's too nice for his own good. Trevor is in the bed next to him and tells him that he can hear - he's awake. Trevor asks Tony why he done it and Tony tells him that no matter what Trevor hangs over his head he will always be a better man. Trevor agrees to back off from Tony however when Harry comes to visit and Tony is asleep Trevor grabs Harrys arm and pulls him closer telling him "You were in my flat that night and I am going to find out why".

Grace comes to see Trevor and asks if he knows what happened. Trevor is hesitent before telling her that he doesn't really remember but he's sure he will. He asks why she's there and she tells him that she doesn't know.

A panicked Harry leaves the hospital and heads over to Robbies telling him that he needs his help.

At the halls Luke is preparing to say his goodbyes to Carley saying that he will be moving back home after Lucy is released to help his Mum deal with her or without her, whatever the case might be. They decide to spend the 'perfect day' together which entails not leaving Carley's bedroom however as the night comes around and Luke prepares to leave he realises he has dozens of missed calls from his Mum.

Luke kisses Carley goodbye and dials his Mum back. Carley heads back to her room only to hear the door knock seconds later. "Did you forget something?" she calls out with a smile. When she opens the door she sees Luke with a blank expression as he tells her that Lucy killed herself.

Theresa is playing with Kathleen-Angel and bitching about the fact that Dodger never lets her see Carmella when the mail comes. Mercedes filters through it and finds a letter addressed to 'Miss McQueen'. She ignores it at first and begins applying her make up and going about her day including a having some glasses of champagne at 'The Loft' as Michaela asks why she looks so smug she says she had good news and re-reads a text from Grace that says things aren't looking good for Trevor. Her mood shifts when she recieves another text telling her Trevor is awake. Mercedes necks her drink and storms off.

When Mercedes returns to the house she sees Theresa looking terrified. Theresa tells her she opened the letter and shows Mercedes the contents. It contains a photo of Mercedes and Theresa letting Grace out of the door of the house on the night of the fire and has 'I KNOW' written on it in red pen.

MONDAY JUNE 8

Darren is curious as to why Harry is spending so much time at the flat with Robbie and Robbie tells Darren that he's going to start training Harry at the gym to help him with the ladies which Darren finds both admirable and hilarious.

Robbie tells Harry he can't help him cover his tracks if he doesn't tell him why he was at Trevors that night. Harry tells him that he broke in to the flat to trash it after Trevor beat him up but Trevor caught him and Harry had to climb out of the window before Trevor could get to him. Robbie asks whether that's the entire truth and Harry swears it is but Robbie knows a lie when he sees one.

The college year is almost over and for Jason it's a stressful time as he is desperate not to fail for a second time and after such a turbulent year in his personal life he begins working out aggressively to destress. Holly catches him on a run and sees that he is looking weak. She tells him that he needs to calm down or he'll make himself ill again. The two of them go for coffee together and put their differences aside agreeing to help each other through their exams.

Robbie and Harry spot them and Harry is gutted to see them together but Robbie tells Harry he has nothing to worry about on that front as Holly is a good one and "I know my brother, he wants someone else whether he can admit it or not".

Theresa and Mercedes debate whether to tell Grace about the letter after she revealed her feelings for Trevor but it looks like they wont have a lot of choice as Grace appears at the house having recieved her own copy. Grace blames Mercedes and tells her she is trying to manipulate her away from Trevor and insists that it wont work.

Theresas darkside rears its head again as she suggests to Mercedes that they point the finger at Grace. Mercedes is taken aback by Theresas suggestion and says to her "I'm freakin' out because us three spent the best part of an hour talking about killin' Trevor then someone went an actually tried to do it! Someone out there heard that conversation and reckons we're actually to blame when we're not...are we? Theresa, tell me you didn't do anything stupid that night".

TUESDAY JUNE 9

After avoiding the topic for several days Leela comes clean to the family about her job but insists that they don't need to worry as she'll find a new one fast. Tegan tells Leela that she will apply for extra funding from the college but Leela refuses. When Tegan leaves Ste asks to know the severity of the situation and Leela tells him that they're not in trouble financially but that she feels like a complete failure to Peri and that it's just been one thing after another.

Ste tells Leela that she needs to unwind and enjoy the downtime for a while but Leela reminds him that she doesn't actually have any friends in the village. Ste recruits a reluctant Michaela to take Leela out (which she does if Ste pays) and despite an awkward start the two of them end up getting on like a house on fire. Michaela opens up about her insecurities with Ziggy but Leela tells her that she can tell he loves her. When Michaela pushes about Leela and Cameron, Leela freezes up. Leela opens about her parents death and almost reveals all to Michaela but swallows her words however Michaelas journalistic instinct picks up on the slip.

Maxine is readying Liberty for her new video shoot and is having a nightmare with the director who is insistant on Liberty wearing next to nothing. Liberty tells Maxine not to worry and she knows her body is her greatest asset. Maxine wonders how Liberty has put up with this for so long and tells her that her voice is greatest asset. Liberty brushes it off until she sees the defeated look on Maxines face when the director makes a comment on Maxines appearance. Liberty insists that the video be changed and asks Maxine to appear in it.

Myra has recruited Louis to be her personal trainer so that she can look better for their TV show but he had no idea quite how difficult she would be. When Myra starts playing up he calls the day off and uses reverse psychology to get her to try harder and stop complaining. Eventually they have a pretty intense work out and near on collapse in the park. Myra pulls out a pocket fan and begins waving it in Louis' face and he freaks out, sprinting away from her.

Myra eventually finds Louis back at the house and asks him to talk about his time in the army. He tells her that he doesn't talk about it and she tells him about the night that Niall held them all hostage and how terrifying it was and even now seven years later she dreams about it every night. Louis begins opening up more and Myra tells him that he should consider trying to get through to his old friends.

WEDNESDAY JUNE 10

Despite a fun day on the set Maxine feels guilt ridden when she comes home to see that the house is being prepared for Dirks return and Dodger has been doing all the work whilst looking after Annie and Carmella. Maxine is stunned when she sees Liberty come through the door - it's only 7am and Liberty is already back from an hour at the gym. Liberty tells Maxine her daily routine usually involves an hours excercise, twelve to thirteen hours work and then three or four hours with her family or friends.

Maxine realises that she needs to take herself more seriously if she is going to be taken seriously and sets about a long days work during which she looks over Libertys contract and finds a quite obvious flaw regarding the payments Liberty should be recieving. Maxine takes the contract to Alan who looks over it and they reveal to Liberty that she has been missing out on thousands in touring payments due to conditions in her contract.

When Leela looks over the families finances and realises that they're actually well ahead with their mortgage payments thanks to Ste's double income and the period where they were renting a room to Sinead she decides that they should book a family holiday and enjoy themselves for once but Peri isn't keen on the idea telling Leela she has too much school work to and Ste is too busy with the restaurant. Cameron encourages Tegan and Leela to go and says that he and Ste will look after the kids although it takes Tegan some major convincing on Leelas part.

The girls are in the pub telling Jack that they've got a last minute flight and leave in a few hours. Later that night Lotty arrives at The Lomaxes with her bags and informs Ste that she is coming to stay whilst the girls are away, heading straight up to Leelas room before he can say a word.

Peri is over at Toms and accuses him of being funny with her. She notices him hide a book under the bed so when he goes to the toilet she looks in it and opens up on a page with newspaper clippings about Mayas death. Peri is devastated and appears to tear the book up before throwing it at Tom as he returns however when Peri returns to the house she heads straight to her room and pulls out her own scrap book that is filled with newspaper clippings about Maya and even has things taken from the family home.

THURSDAY JUNE 11

When Mercedes and Theresa visit Grace at the hospital yet again Debbie becomes suspicious after everything she's heard about their relationship. She decides to dig further but Darren warns her to stay away stating that all three of them are bad news and she'll just become a magnet for trouble like the rest of them. Never one to be told 'no', Debbie goes in to Graces bedroom and finds the torn up picture with the warning on it.

Grace returns home and finds the picture stuck on the fridge. She immediately freaks out and calls Mercedes but Debbie walks out of her room with a knowing look on her face and tells Grace to hang up. Debbie insists that Grace tell her everything but will she play ball?

Jason is panicking more about his studies and goes to Ross for help telling him that he's the smartest person he knows but Ross has too much of his own work to catch up on and so Jason turns goes to see Esther but Jack tells them that she and Carley have gone away to clear their heads after what happened with Lucy.

Dougie spots Jason looking defeated and starts throwing questions at him about biology, english and physical education leaving Jason confused. Dougie informs Jason that he's currently getting top grades in sports science and done got straight A's at college for pretty much the same topics as Jason telling him to "stop being such a girl" and just ask for his help.

Jason is reluctant to spend so much time with his old friend until Dougie casually offloads about the twins visit and says that he has been getting with a girl named Claire that works in the S.U leaving Jason more relaxed. THe casual conversation soon gets more serious as Dougie asks whether Jason has been looking after himself. Jason answers with a pretty aggressive food burp and smile.

Dodger, Liberty, Holly and Maxine have prepped the house for Dirks arrival and they're experiencing mixed emotions as Maxine ponders whether or not the house will be too crowded for Dirk whilst he's recovering and Dodger refusing to accept the reality of the situation telling them Dirk is fine.

Dirk returns home and puts on a brave face but tells them that he's tired and wants to go to his room. He looks at the stairs in desperation and Maxine quietly tells him that they've swapped bedrooms and he's downstairs now. Later that night Cindy is in the living room by herself sat in the dark as Maxine comes down to get a drink. She sits with her and Cindy breaks down crying as Dirk listens from his room.

FRIDAY JUNE 12

Lotty is making herself at home at The Lomax house much to the boys dismay but Cameron is insistant that they don't ruin the girls holiday by telling them about her being there. Cameron tries to make nice with Lotty but she's only interested in spending time with Peri who takes full advantage of it by getting Lotty to spoiler her rotten. Peri, however, is playing a game and constantly talks about how solid they've been as a family and how she finally feels like she's moving on after her parents death. For a brief moment Lotty considers backing off but when she hears Ste and Cameron having heated words about Lotty being around she digs her heels in good.

Jason and Dougie are studying in S.U Bar and catching up on what they've missed. Jason is impressed by what a stearn tutor Dougie is and is finally able to make jokes about their previous encounters. John Paul approaches Jason and says that Michaela told him Jason was looking for help with his English studies. When John Paul introduces himself to Dougie there's an obvious attraction and Dougie throws his hands up in defeat saying who is he to compete with an English teacher.

The boys get down to work and whilst they try and create games that will help Jason remember what he is studying it is very clear that there's a spark between John Paul and Dougie. Jason quickly becomes irrate when the boys make a small joke at his expense and he storms off. Dougie follows him and ask what's wrong and Jason tells him to forget about it. John Paul follows out as Jason walks off and asks if it's something he said but Dougie tells him to ignore it and asks John Paul if he wants to go for a drink.

When Jason gets home he is becoming increasingly frustrated with himself as he looks in the mirror. Michaela walks out of her room and asks him what's wrong but he insists he's fine.

Dirk is beginning to get used to using his prostethic leg around the house but is reluctant to hold or play with Hilton incase he falls. Cindy is doing her best to encourage him but he's adamant that he doesn't need the pep talks. Not wanting to show her upset in front of him Cindy goes to the shops with Hilton.

Dirk becomes enraged as he tries to get a drink from the kitchen and falls. He is there for a while and is found by Liberty. As she tries to help him up he insists that he is fine and doesn't need her help but she ignores him and keeps grabbing at him causing him to lose his temper and push her away. Liberty falls back and hits her head on the table before falling to the floor.

MONDAY JUNE 15

With Tony in hospital, Diane and Sinead gone and Cameron paying full attention to both Peri and Lotty, Ste is in over his head at 'The Hutch' and is struggling to cope. He asks Nina and Ross to come in for extra shifts but both of them are studying for their exams.

Ste is trying to run a full restaurant with just himself and a very moody Harry who is already late after school commitments. Ste's stress is rubbing off on Harry and he soon walks out.

Chris comes in to help and Ste struggles to calm himself down and almost has a drink. Chris pushes Ste to talk about what is wrong and he reveals that he has a "really nervous feeling" about Lotty and is worried she's going to cause trouble for the family.

There's a tense atmosphere in the Savage house as Dirk is being overl cautious around Liberty who insists that she is fine after her accident despite suffering regular headaches. Dirk tells them that he is a liability and should move in to care but Liberty is having none of it and tells him "Stop feeling sorry for yourself! Me and Dodge are big enough to worry about ourselves but Hilton is just a baby and he needs you to get it together!".

Dodger offers to go to physio with Dirk and whilst he is initially reluctant he pushes through when Liberty brings Hilton along.

Darren is becoming irritated by Debbie prying in to Grace and Trevors past and wants to know why she's so interested. Debbie tells him that Grace wants to move Trevor back in to the flat when he gets out of hospital. When Darren asks if Debbie is moving out and she says no they end up in a huge fight over Trevor with Darren hitting Debbie with some real home truths about their dark pasts just as Grace arrives home.

Debbie confronts Grace about what has been said and Grace says that they both done well trying to get better so they could have a kid but Trevor slipped back to the darkside. Grace has sympathy for Grace and talks of her life on the cruise ships revealing that she was actually the one who cheated on her husband - repeatedly and she doesn't want to make the same mistake again because she believes she's changed.

TUESDAY JUNE 16

Another busy day at work sees Ste unable to refuse help from Lotty who is making sure that she is the centre of everyones attention as she sings along to the background music, gossips details of her personal life with customers and has more than a little drink on the job.

When she drops a plate of food in someones lap Ste loses his cool with her after she belittles him in front of the customers he physically throws her out of the restaurant. Once again she tries to tell him he's not family but he hits back telling her he didn't even know she existed until she knocked on that door and informs her that he will be throwing her stuff out.

When Ste gets back to the house he is angry to see Lotty there and loses his temper in front of Peri who pleads with him to let her stay saying the family need to stick together. For Peri's sake Ste tells Lotty she's on her last warning and heads to his room. Peri gives Lotty the coldest of stares that goes completely over her head.

At the hospital Trevor and Tony are sharing a room much to their annoyance. Trevor is still struggling to understand why Tony allowed him to live and Tony says that it sounds like Trevor wanted to die. Tony asks Trevor whether it is exhausting holding on to so much hate and anger as Tony highlights that when he is angry or upset he has people to unleash it on without going overboard and Trevor has nobody.

The conversation comes around to the topic of baby Grace as Tony recalls the pain he felt and how he survived the grief without hurting everyone around him telling Trevor that he's been given a second chance and should let the likes of his Dad and Fraser go. Trevor has a new found respect for Tony.

Darren approaches Ziggy for advice on Debbie and whilst Ziggy suggests it's just easier to take his punishment and apologise but Robbie encourages him to stick to his guns. At a loss Darren turns to Nancy (who is having a drink with Greg) she tells Darren that they may be friends but she's not about to give him dating advice.

Greg tells Darren that Debbie is probably just trying to assert her independence after getting divorced and that he should encourage it whilst letting her know that he's just looking out for her. Darren tells Greg they're not friends and he doesn't need his advice but he actually takes it on board and Debbie is soon back in his arms.

WEDNESDAY JUNE 17

It's the open day at HCC and Holly is particularly nervous. Dodger asks her why she's going to HCC when she gets such high grades but she tells him that she's not ready to leave her family behind after everything that they've been through.

Phoebe attends the open day with Holly but tells her not to threat as she has an entire year to make up her mind about what she wants. Holly is surprised when Jason doesn't meet them but soon begins to focus on the day and starts having fun. Phoebe tells Holly she wishes that she could have attended University and Holly suggests that she re-sit her exams this year.

After a fun day at the college Holly bumps in to Harry who tells her that he checked it out but is thinking of going to Manchester for his course next year unless he can find a reason to stay. An oblivious Holly enourages him to go to Manchester.

John-Paul is over at The Roscoes flat helping Jason study. Jason is clearly not in the mood to discuss the opening day as John Paul reminisces about his first day at University and his run in with Katy Fox. The subject swiftly moves on to romance as John Paul asks whether Jason and Holly are still together. John Paul awkwardly asks Jason how well he knows Dougie and Jason is taken back but soon realises that John Paul is enquiring for himself.

Jason downplays it telling John Paul that Dougie is a bit of a player and jumps from person to person which rattles John Paul who says he's probably better to leave it.

Cameron and Ste are both at work and so Lotty encourages a "girls day in" with Peri and cuts her hair and gives her highlights as they talk about an all manner of things from boys to school. Peri is inititally having fun until she realises what Lotty is doing when she switches the topic to Dannys death. Peri begins feeding Lotty lie after lie after lie in order to throw her in to a whirlwind. When Peri is washing her hair out Lotty goes looking through Tegans room and Peri catches her but keeps her cool.

THURSDAY JUNE 18

As the launch of her single draws closer Liberty decides that she needs to gain focus and that the house is becoming too crowded. She hosts a family dinner at which she reveals to them she is going to be getting her own place with Louis - she's bought Patricks old flat. Dirk and Cindy both worry that it's because of them but she insists that it's not and that "when I come back from tours and shows I want to be able to walk around naked" - nobody is quite sure what to say.

Dirk also has an announcement for the family. He reveals that he finished making payments to buy the emporium from Dennis a couple of months ago which earns him a round of applause until he reveals that he has sold it. Cindy is confused and he tells her that family is his focus - he needs to learn to use his new leg and to be a proper father and husband and that work can wait - he wants them to be together and to go on holidays and to finally have the wedding and the shop can pay for that.

John Paul is over at The Roscoes again much to Michaelas dismay as she tells him "I thought I'd got rid of you lot". Jason is finding the chaos all too much and goes to his room but soon emerges asking for Michaela. Ziggy tells John Paul that he is jealous of how much Jason and Michaela have bonded but John Paul tells him that she just has a way of latching on to people who are having trouble.

Ziggy decides that he and John Paul are going to bond and takes him over to The Loft to get to know him better. John Paul initially finds it quite uncomfortable but soon realises that Ziggy has more to him tham being a "himbo" as Ziggy opens up about the pressures of looking after the family and being the 'normal' one.

John Paul reveals that he sometimes considers himself too normal next to hsi sisters and wishes that he was more spontaneous. Ziggy asks if it's in reference to a man and encourages John Paul to go for it but takes it back when John Paul reveals that it's Dougie, telling him "He reckons he's not but I can tell you flat out our Jase is love with that boy! You'll break his heart".

Jason asks Michaela how she got through her exams and she tells him "When I was at school I had three best mates - one of them was a junky, one of them was a pramface and the other one was...well he was just a bit of a loser so I was like - I can't do any worse than this lot are doing'. This makes Jason laugh and Michaela tells him not to stress so much and instead to think about how much he's achieved this year.

FRIDAY JUNE 19

Holly has a meeting with Marilyn and is worried that she may be failing after all that's gone on this year but it's good news as Marilyn tells her that he grades are advanced enough that should she is able to take her exams a year early if she so wishes.

Holly is elated at the news and soon shares it with Harry who goes on a rant about being left behind. Holly is mad at him for ruining her moment. Later, a guilt ridden Harry decides that it's time for a big romantic gesture and asks for Toms help as they decorate the entire sports hall as a lagoon and create a 'Little Mermaid' themed stage.

Tom messages Holly saying he's being bullied and she storms to the sports hall to defend him only to find the place covered in fairy lights. Harry comes out dressed as Eric and badly mimes to 'Kiss The Girl'. She asks what this is about and he tells that he's sorry and that it's time that they were together. She tries to talk but he kisses her and tells her that he loves her and he knows that she has feelings for him. Holly looks to Tom who gives her a nod. She smiles and kisses him back.

Later Robbie sees them in the village and asks why they look so happy. When Holly tells him, Robbie pulls Harry aside and asks where he got the money to pull that off and tells him he knows he's hiding something about that night.

When Michaela seems to know more about Robbie and Jasons lives than Ziggy does he finds himself feeling left out. Made no better when Michaela, Robbie and Darren have a meeting about 'The Loft' in the flat. Michaela soon realises that she is getting in the way of Ziggy's bonding with his brothers and decides to tell him that she's moving out. Ziggy is offended but she tells him that she used to hate it when Mercedes moved boyfriends in every other month and that they should have the flat to themselve. Michaela walks through the door across the hall and tells Liberty and Louis she's moving in.

Peri comes home from school and finds Lotty drunk again. She tries to do her homework but Lotty keeps distracting her and getting on her nerves so she puts headphones in. Ste comes home from work and is cooking dinner whilst trying to ignore Lotty but she soon starts agrrivating him and trying to push his buttons - they soon begin fighting. Cameron is picking the girls up from the airport.

Ste storms upstairs and Lotty follows him getting in his face and pushing him around. Peri comes out of her room and tells her to calm down but she starts telling Ste she knows he killed Danny. She hits him over the head with her wine bottle and knocks him out cold. Peri is terrified and lashes out at Lotty telling her that she should have died instead. Lotty slaps Peri who reacts by pushing her down the stairs with force just as Ste regains consciousness.

Peri runs down the stairs after Lotty as Ste slowly sits up he sees Peri stand over Lotty with the wine bottle before smashing her across the head with it. Cameron, Tegan and Leela walk through the door to find a stone faced Peri standing over a bloody Lotty as Ste falls unconscious again at the top of the stairs.

MONDAY JUNE 22

The Lomax's are in meltdown as they await news of Lotty's condition having spent two days in a coma. Ste is still in hospital and his memory of the events are fuzzy at best. A freaked out Tegan flips at Peri and labels her a psycho but Cameron comes to her defence quickly and tells Tegan to back off. Peri hasn't spoken a single word since the night of the accident and is causing great concern for her parents.

Cameron asks Tom to visit Peri to see if he can get through to her but she tenses up even more. Tom bumps in to Marilyn in the hall of the hospital as she's accompanied a student who has hurt themselves on the playground and she asks what he's doing there. When Tom tells her she goes to see the family and Leela is instantly cold with her but Peri walks up to Marilyn before hugging her and bursting in to tears.

Liberty and Michaela are already beginning to annoy Louis as they girlify the new flat and Louis is worried that Michaela will take over having already invited herself to live there. John Paul comes over for moving in drinks and is reluctant to leave as he tells Michaela that home isn't the same without her, the girls are never there so he's stuck with "the oldies and a bunch of kids". John Paul asks Louis whether he thinks he's boring and Louis is hesitant to answer telling him 'well you've got that whole teacher thing so don't worry about it'.

As Michaela reminisces about touring the world with Joshs band and Liberty talks about the fact that she is going to be 'This Morning' on Wednesday, John Paul starts to worry that he settled into fatherhood and his career too early. Desperate to blow off some steam John Paul suggests they throw a 'proper' house warming and invite 'a bunch of random people - mingle'. But does he mean Dougie?

Tony is released from hospital and decides that he wants to make some changes to his life, starting with his relationships. Tony calls Mandy, Diane, Sinead and Jacqui and tells each of them that he is truely sorry for any pain he caused them and wants to make amends anyway that he can. When Harry arrives home Tony tells him that he never wants to end up as bitter or as lonely as Trevor and wants to make up for the years he's lost in Harrys life.

Later, Tony heads to the restaurant to find that it is closed as Nina waits outside to start her shift. He calls Ste but get's no answer. Harry tells him that he saw an ambulance pull up on Friday which leads Tony back to the hospital. Ste is aggressively apologetic but Tony just wants to make sure that he is okay and tells Ste to take as long as he needs off work deciding that he will leave the restaurant closed for a week so that Ste can spend time with his family. Ste questions whether Tony has gone mad and Tony tells him he's been mad for years and now he's not.

TUESDAY JUNE 23

The Police want to continue their questioning of The Lomaxes now that the doctors have approved Ste to be interviewed but they're at their wits end trying to get their story straight as Tegan believes they should tell the truth whilst Leela and Cameron believe that they should lie to protect Peri.

Peri tells Marilyn that she is scared her family will get torn apart telling her that Lotty was attacking Ste and fell down the stairs but that Lotty is 'so evil' that she would twist everything. Marilyn tells Leela what Peri told her and is asked to leave the room - she listens in on the conversation afterwards as she overhears Tegan say "Even if she fell down those stairs Peri was stood over her holding a wine bottle covered in blood! She hit her Leela! She needs help!"

Marilyn approaches Cameron in the corridor and asks to speak to him privately.

Harry hears that Trevor is coming home from hospital and is a bag of nerves which confuses Tony. When Tony clocks the fear in Harrys eyes when he sees Trevor he puts it down to the attack and tells Harry not to worry about Trevor anymore. Trevor is back staying at Graces as he isn't able to lift or properly look after himself. He lets her know that this doesn't mean they're back together.

Grace pushes Trevor to talk about the night of the fire and the shooting and he tells her that he doesn't remember much about it just seeing someone in a black hoodie and then hitting the ground. Grace takes his answer but his face says more. Later, Tony drags Harry around as Tony wants to check in and see how Trevor is doing. Whilst Tony is in the bathroom and Grace is on the phone Harry nervously apologises to Trevor who tells him "You're alive because your Dad saved my life and I've had one of those - whatsits - epiphanies! So I'm not even going to ruin your life but you are going to do something for me... No more than five minutes after you left someone else came to my flat and tried to kill me, now - I don't believe that you saw nothing so I want you to think long and hard - " they're cut off as Grace returns. Harry tells them he's got to go.

Harry runs down the steps and makes a call "I am not doing this anymore! I'm not covering for you!".

Michaela and Liberty have their housewarming and it's a big one with Mercedes, Theresa, Myra, John Paul, Phoebe, Robbie, Jason, Ziggy, Darren, Dougie, Ross and Nina in attendance. Liberty can't help but notice that all of the guests were invited by Michaelas to which Michaela replies "Well you've been living in L.A for two years - all your friends and family had got babies now!".

Liberty notices John Paul watching Dougie and tells him to just talk to him but he's nervous and so Liberty tells John Paul "You don't want to be a grown up? Fine!" with that she instigates a game of truth or dare and dares Dougie and JP to switch clothes in under a minute leaving Jason uncomfortable. Mercedes gets a phone call at the party and nods for Theresa to go outside with her.

A drunken game amongst friends soons turns nasty when Ross starts dancing around Louis whilst holding a strobe light. Louis gets claustrophic and triggers his PTSD causing him to lash out and punch Ross in the face bringing the party to a swift end. Nina takes Ross back to halls but is unable to find Ross. Jason helps Michaela clean up the party and thanks her for being there for him. She tells him she's impressed that he didn't drink all night as he tells her he's got to be up early to study. As Jason is leaving he spots Dougie and John Paul kissing at the end of the hall before leaving down the stairs.

WEDNESDAY JUNE 24

Debbie is making her presence fell around Trevor as she tries to get under his skin and into his head. Trevor isn't in the mood for her games and tries to turn it dark by telling her all of the bad things she's done but she plays it cool and tells him she already knows. When he tells her to get out of his face she says "It's not like you can chase me out is it?" before giving him a jab.

Grace is pandering around Trevor and making him feel at home. When the two of them share a tender moment he asks her what this is all about and she says that things got crazy between them and she never thought it would come to the point they hated each other. He tells her he doesn't hate but he's not in love with her anymore - she says that she still loves him and kisses him but he rejects it and tells her he should go but when he tries to walk he finds himself in agony and so she helps him to the bedroom. Grace smiles to herself "Looks like you're not going anywhere".

As the dust settles from the house party Liberty and Louis are barely speaking when he confesses he hasn't been going to his therapy sessions and she tells him that she has enough to deal with right now and if he doesn't start going then she can't support him.

John Paul bumps in to Dougie and pulls him aside to apologise for not calling him but Dougie tells John Paul not to over analyse it "It was just a bit of fun" which leaves John Paul slightly shaken as that's not his style. Determined to prove that he's 'not that guy' John Paul tells Dougie he wants to go on a date and so they go there and then.

On the date it's clear that the chemistry between them may not be all that good outside of the bedroom as they realise they have very little in common. Dougie tells John Paul that he doesn't do boyfriends or girlfriends and that he's just into "having fun with whoever wants fun" and tells John Paul to "stop looking at everyone like they have to be husband material". John Paul is offended but Libertys words echo in his mind and he decides that perhaps fun is just what he needs as he suggests to Dougie that they go home together and "cut out all the conversation".

The Lomaxes have all given near on identical statements and soon discover that Lotty has woken up however she soon begins thrashing about her bed in terror when she sees the family and it's clear to the docotors that she's scared of someone there. She points in the direction of Peri who is stood in front of Cameron and begins to panic so much she goes in to cardiac arrest.

Leela and Ste begin to panic about what might happen to Peri. Cameron tells Peri that he will protect her no matter what. They are interrupted by the Doctor who tells them that Lotty has died. Cameron tells them that this is going to become a murder investigation. As they discuss this Peri goes missing. Cameron immediately calls Marilyn and tells her "Stop Peri! She's going to the police station!".

A confused Ste and Leela watch as Cameron sprints off. Peri arrives at the police station and is stopped outside by Marilyn who tells her not to go inside. Peri sees Cameron through the window and runs inside as the police put hand coughs on him and state "I am arresting you for murder of Charlotte Lomax".

THURSDAY JUNE 25

Peri desperately tries to make a confession at the police station but they're satisfied with Camerons statements and believe him to be the person behind the attack. Tegan is the first to visit Cameron as she makes her peace with him telling him that he's a brave man. Tegan asks him whether they will question them about their statements and with tears in his eyes he tells her that he has confessed to killing Danny and Sam and has told the police that he forced you to lie. He quietly tells her "I'm never getting out of here".

Leela and Peri go in to see him and it's tears all around as Leela gets angry and calls him an idiot before telling him she doesn't want to lose him again. Peri begs him to change his statement and starts shouting at the guards that she done it and that he didn't do anything. He eventually gets her to calm down before telling her "I spent half of my life behind bars and I missed everything. I don't want that for you. I don't want you do go down that road. This last year of my life has been the best ever and I'll never forget it or you! Promise me you'll sort yourself out - you'll do well at school and you'll come and see me!". She promises and kisses him before the guards tell them visiting is over. Cameron whispers to Leela "don't let her mess up her life anymore".

Ross is out taking some photos for his college project and accidentally snaps Louis. Ross tries to scurry away but Louis runs after him and apologises telling him about his PTSD and stating that "is not who I am". Ross sees a sadness in Louis' eyes and without saying a word just takes a photo of him. Ross tells him that he can tell that was the most honest Louis has been in a while and invites him for a drink.

The boys discuss everything from comic book heroes to girls - Louis tries to play the macho cousin when talking about Phoebe but knows Ross loves her. Louis changes when talks about his Dad and Ross takes another photo. Louis tells him to stop until Ross shows him the pictures and Louis tells him how good they are. Louis tries to take a picture of Ross but it's flat. Ross tells him it's all about connecting with emotions and suggests that he teach him.

Mercedes meets up with Grace who tries to make small talk asking how the party was. Mercedes tells her they had to leave because Nana called them when the kids started playing up. Grace asks whether Mercedes has had any more letters and she hands her three more. Grace asks when they were taken and points out that they're from inside the house. Mercedes soon realises that they're all scenes from 'The McQueens of England' and deduces that it must be someone on the production team.

It doesn't take long for Mercedes to nail the culprit as she spots one of the interns out in the village with his laptop listening to head phones. When she approaches him from behind she sees what's on his screen and taps him on the shoulder. He panics and threatens to go to the police but Grace takes the laptop from his lap and throws it in the foundtain. Mercedes calls the producer and tells him that the boy has been taking pictures of her changing. Seconds later the boy is called and is told that he's fired.

Later, the boy meets Grace in the alley and she goes to hand him money but he tells her "I'm not helping you frame her - whatever it is with you two it's between you two! You've ruined my future!". With that he walks away.

FRIDAY JUNE 26

Jasons is anxious after sitting his first exam and when John Paul asks how it went Jason is off with him. During that days tutorial Jason is the one to bring up the topic of Dougie and makes a joke about seeing them together but John Paul tells him it's just a bit of a fun and when Jason continuously emphasises the fact that Dougie doesn't do relationships John Paul takes Michaelas words on board and decides to back off from Dougie - texting him to cancel their planned evening.

Sick of being couped up with Debbie and Grace, Trevor dopes himself up on painkillers and heads out in to the village to get some air. He quickly bumps into Theresa and Mercedes who make a point of expressing their concern for him. He tells them to drop the act and says that he knows they want rid of him as muh as he wants rid of them but tells them neither of them would have the balls to do it after already going to prison.

Still reeling from recent events Leela calls a family meeting and tells them that this was the last straw and from now on things need to get better. Peri tells her sisters that she is glad Lotty is dead before stating "I'd do it again if it wasn't all for nothing". Ste and Tegan struggle to hide the fear on their face. Unable to compute what's happening Leela sends Peri to her room but instead Peri walks out of the front door. A defeated Leela collapses to the floor in silence.

Peri walks straight over to Marilyns. Marilyn tells her that she can't come in but she's glad she's okay and that Cameron done the right thing. Peri realises that Marilyn knew what Cameron was going to do and Marilyn tells Peri "You're a bright girl, you have a future! I would give anything for my Maya to have a future. Don't throw yours away! Make all of this mess worth something... I don't want to lose you as well. We've all made mistakes and believe me you'll live with this for the rest of your life". Marilyn is unaware that Alan is watching from the kitchen.

Trevor has to take a seat in the village, he's exhausted. A cautious Harry asks if he's okay at which point Trevor tells him 'I'm getting to old for this - this looking over my shoulder, this threatening everyone. I'm getting too old'. Harry asks why he does it and Trevor looks at him for a long time before saying that he doesn't know anymore. Trevor tells Harry "You took about £5,000 from my flat that night - I don't know why and I don't really care. Tell your Dad you won it on a scratch card or whatever - do something with him. He's a good man. Don't mess him about, don't turn into a little thug robbing people!".

A guilty Harry sits down with Trevor and tells him "I wasn't in your flat to get the money that night - it kind of - it just happened! Someone paid me to trash the place and wait in there until you got back to distract you - I was so angry after what you did to me I said yes but I swear I didn't know they were going to do what they did". Trevors eyes fill with rage as he asks who it was.

Later, at home Trevor returns and Grace rushes over to him as he almost collapses at the door. She tells him he was stupid for going out so soon after leaving hospital and offers to make him food. Trevor tells her that it's strange how he's taking so long to get better but she ignores it and puts food in the microwave. Trevor purposely knocks Graces handbag off the side as pill bottles fall out. His medication is loose in her bag whilst an empty packet of asprin is also there. "I've got to admit Grace - you are determined".

Story teasers

NEW HOMELESS STORY FOR PHOEBE MCQUEEN

As Phoebe surrounds herself with people who are actively studying the mechanic decides she wants to do more with her life and begins volunteering for a youth outreach programme.

The storyline will see Phoebe take a shining to a homeless teen much like Jacqui did with her three years ago though Phoebe will learn the hard way that not everybody wants to be rescued.

JACK OSBORNE TO 'RUFFLE FEATHERS' WITH INVESTIGATION

Jack Osbornes return to crime fighting is set to ruffle some feathers amongst those in and out of the village as he re-opens a missing persons case from almost thirty years ago.

The long running story will see Jack use Toms recent research to delve in to the dark history of Hollyoaks village and uncover secrets that residents have long left buried and as he gets closer to the truth one panicked resident will do anything to stop their secrets being dug up.

'WORK PLACE' DRAMA OVER COMING MONTHS

Hollyoaks will be taking a shift in tone over the coming months as the drama shifts from friendship groups and families to work places for some storylines.

Producers of the show say "With Uni and School and with families you have built in sets of characters that are going to have stories together but we want to tell stories with people who perhaps wouldn't always be together otherwise"

'The Hutch' and 'The Loft' in particular have great rosters with 'The Hutch' hosting Tony, Harry, Ste, Chris and students Ross and Nina'. 'The Loft' hosts Michaela, Darren, Robbie, Ross and Debbie whilst several other villagers have jobs in and around the village including Alan Daniels law practice where he will soon take on Holly as a part-time intern much to her Aunt Judes dismay.

Debbie confronts Trevor who tells her that she has another sister and to mind her own business.

Debbie decides to go through Graces things as she doesn't believe Trevor but when he catches her he throws her out and tells her to stop interfering before insisting that Grace is fine and telling her that they're back together.

Whilst Peri is at school Tegan, Ste and Leela meet to discuss her future and what to do about her. Ste and Leela are in denial about her behaviour as Leela thinks she is is just going through a rough patch after everything she's been through whilst Ste says she will grow out of it but Tegan is having none of it and tells Leela that this entire chain of events started with Leela wanting to be Peri's Mum so now it's time to start acting like it and stop wrapping her up in cotton wool.

When Peri returns home from school her siblings are waiting for her as Leela tries to get her to talk about what she's feeling it errupts in to an argument at which point Tegan tells Peri she should go to brat camp. Peri slaps Tegan who slaps her back. Leela is stunned by the events but Tegan has some truths for Peri and warns her 'If you want to act like an adult you'll get treated like one - I'm going to the police'.

Ziggy is having a nightmare at work when Phoebe and Jason both call in sick and he has to work through his lunch date with Michaela. Louis comes in to help out during his lunch break and sees how backed up Ziggy is. Ziggy confesses to Louis that he no longer wants to run the garage telling him that it was a family business he got dragged in to and now Joe and Freddie aren't there he feels burdened with it.

TUESDAY JUNE 30
As Tegan threatens to go to the police and moves her stuff into Amy's a desperate Leela feels completely alone and finds herself turning to Marilyn for guidance. Needless to say Kaya is not too happy to see Leela at their door and listens in on her conversations with Marilyn.

Marilyn tells Leela that Peri is acting out over her guilt of what happened with Maya and needs to face those feelings in order to stop channeling them in to aggression. Kaya enters the kitchen and begins making passive aggressive comments to which Leela is shocked when Marilyn all but ignores her outbursts causing Kaya to storm out of the house.

In the village Kaya spots Peri and begins taunting her. She follows her and calls her names and eventually Peri retaliates with a streak of particularly nasty words. Kaya hits Peri and the two begin scrapping as Tegan and Ste pull them apart Peri tells Kaya she's glad she did what she did and tells her if she goes near her again she'll kill her.
As Alan begins looking over the missing girl case from 1985 it becomes clear that his work and home life is weighing him down as his work loads increases drastically. Jude suggests to him that he hire an intern to help on weekends, offering up Hollys services as she wants to study law.

Alan brings an extremely excited Holly in for a chat and tells her that he'll consider it much to her delight. As Holly leaves she realises that she's forgotten her phone and heads back to get it. She is surprised to see that nobody is there and when she calls out to Alan he emerges from his office looking flustered. Holly thinks nothing of it until she leaves and sees Marilyn in the village collecting Kaya.

WEDNESDAY JULY 1
Frustrated with her home life and sick of all of her friends being too busy with exams, a frustrated Kaya goes drinking by herself and ends up in 'The Loft'. Robbie calls her out for being under age she gives him a mouthful before Jason offers to escort her home. When Kaya begins pushing his buttons about Dougie and giving him attitude he gives up and leaves her in the village.

Clearly upset and lost, Kaya is spotted by Ste who asks whether she's okay. The two of them get to talking and end up having a laugh but Kaya is good at people and she knows how to get under his skin. Ste walks Kaya home and she tells him that her parents are out. Kaya opens up about Mayas death and when Ste begins talking about his parents deaths she takes advantage of his weakness and offers him some vodka. It's not long until he is equally as drunk as her and she is leading him up to her bedroom.

Darren is becoming frustrated in Debbies involvement with Grace and Trevor and tells her that she needs to choose between him or them, however, when their arguments occurs as they pass the coffee shop they see frustrated punters who are waiting outside. Dodger tells Darren that it's not been open since Saturday causing Debbie to believe the worst.

Knowing that Darren isn't going to get his hands dirty Debbie turns to Mercedes for help and tells her that she thinks something has happened to Grace. Mercedes acts like she's uninterested but when Debbie tells her that she knows they planned to get rid of Trevor and warns 'Do you really think you're not next?'. Mercedes agrees to help her find Grace.

Marilyn arrives at The Lomax house and is greeted by a guilt ridden Peri who is full of apologies about what she said. Marilyn is almost catatonic in her approach. She tells Peri that she will be attending therapy sessions starting today, with herself and Leela. Marilyn tells her that she will not be tolerating any nonsense or fits or rage and that Peri will be down in the car in five minutes. Peri seems to respond leaving Leela feeling even more useless.

At the session things are slow to start as Leela tries to coax Peri in to talking about her feelings, Leela ends up pouring her heart out about how hard it was to live the lie she did being Peris sister and Peri reacts with laughter. Marilyn encourages this as it seems to bring Peri's feelings to the surface. Peri lashes out at Leela and blames her for everything causing Leela to leave. Marilyn follows and tells her to go back in and stand her ground saying 'Peri's behaviour has been the consequences of your actions - now go in and remind her that there will be consequences for hers. Stop being her sister'

THURSDAY JULY 2
Ste awakens with the hangover of his lifetime as he finds himself still in Kaya's bedroom. He apologises to her telling her that it was a huge mistake and she tells him not to worry about it but she feels genuinely guilty when she sees the horror on his face as he breaks down about drinking.

Later, Kaya goes to lunch with Greg at 'The Dog' and sees Ste in there looking particularly shakey before leaving. She asks Nancy what the deal is and Nancy informs her of his issues with drink and drugs. Kaya immediately follows Ste and asks for his forgiveness stating she had no idea. She promises not tell anyone what happened. Is she being sincere?

Debbie is making life difficult for Trevor by appearing wherever he is, whenever he is there and he calls her out on it. Mercedes soon joins in the game though he more open with his congfrontation of Mercedes and warns her away. Not one to back down Mercedes ups the ante and decides she wants to buy a fish - she doesn't know what kind she wants and has a billion question for Trevor as Debbie roots around the flat.

Debbie begins going through Graces room and can't find anything suspicious so she goes trough Trevors room. Just as she does she gets a message from Grace 'Sunning it up in Spain! Back soon. G x' the message comes through at the exact moment that Debbie finds Graces passport in Trevors drawer.
Debbie meets with Mercedes and tells her what she's found. Debbie asks whether Trevor could've killed Grace.

Leela takes Peri out for the day after a turbulent week and for the first time in a long time they are getting on better, but that's going to change as they get home. Leela immediately notices something is up with Ste but has more pressing things to attend to as Tegan arrives.

Leela sits the family down and tells them that things have gone too far. She tells Peri that she loves her and she always will but her behaviour has reached a critical point and it can't be ignored anymore. A knock at the door sees a stearn looking woman arrive as Leela tells Peri that she is sending her to a correctional facility. Ste and Tegan are both shocked and suprisingly Tegan protests and says they make these decisions together to which Leela tells her 'No. You are her brother and sister. I am her mother, I make these decisions'. She apologises to Peri and tells her she was left with no choice.

FRIDAY JULY 3
Mercedes tries to bait Trevor by leaving an abundance of voicemails about him on Graces answer machine but she doesn't seem to be getting very far as Trevor keeps his cool around the village. Debbie is shocked when she goes past The Magic Bean and finds it open with an 'Under New Management' sign - she goes inside where she finds Cindy behind the counter. Cindy tells her that Grace put an ad out on Friday for a new manager and offered her the job straight away.

Holly and Jason go for lunch in The Magic Bean and Cindy overhears them talking about her visit to Alan. Cindy asks what she's talking about and Holly says she thinks Alan might be having an affair. A furious Cindy throws her apron at Holly and tells her to look after the place. Cindy heads straight to the office and is banging on the window calling out Alans name. Greg comes up behind her and asks what she's doing. A panicked Cindy says that Alan is dealing with legal proceedings in Dirks accident and he's been hard to get hold of. Greg reminds Cindy that she's never been able to lie to him and Greg outright asks her if she's looking for Jude.
John Paul asks Jason how his revision is going and Jason tells him that he needs a break from it all as it's doing his head in. John Paul tells him that he is going to the cinema to get a break from the insanity that is his family and tells Jason he can join him. After the cinema the two of them get to talking about their crazy siblings and Jason thanks John Paul for the distraction.

There's an awkward moment of tension between them and Jason relieves it by kissing John Paul before immediately pulling away and leaving. John Paul catches up with Jason who apologises and re-iterates again that he's not gay. John Paul asks why he kissed him and Jason tells him that he wanted to know because he can't stop thinking about Dougie. John Paul tells him that having feelings for Dougie doesn't make him gay and tells him about Craig. John Paul suggests that once his exams are over Jason gets his friendship with Dougie back on track and works out what it is that he wants.

Ziggy is having another bad day at the garage and is shocked when he gets a phone call from Joe informing him that Freddie was released from prison three weeks ago. Ziggy is puzzled as to why he didn't get in touch and Joe tells him that he's gone to start over. When Ziggy tries to mention that the garage to Joe he brushes off the subject causing Ziggy to make a decision - it's time to sell the garage.

Ziggy asks Jason and Robbie for their support and they offer it to him. He tells his brothers it's time for them to stop worrying about everything to begin enjoying life again, starting with a family trip to Ibiza.

NEW CHARACTERS
Chris Cole, Dougie Daniels, Greg Daniels, Kaya Daniels, Alan Daniels, Marilyn Daniels, Nina Dee, Carley Bloom, Ross Simpson, Lucy Carpenter (gone)

As stated when I started this I honoured any changes that had been announced before this began (Dennis, Blessing, Carmel etc) but have kept Dodger and Phoebe. Have returned seven characters and introduced ten.

The cast is currently at 42 members which is about ten less than it would normally be and it's making storytelling a bit of a struggle at times. If you could see any further exits, returns or introductions who would they be? Feedback muchly needed ahead of 20th anniversary stories as to whether I continue beyond that.

SORRY for the lack of updates anyone who still checks this. I've been pullin 60 hour weeks at the minute so just haven't had the time/motivation.

I'll post the rest of July's episodes on Tuesday and try and smash out all of August the following week as I'm away in September.

I will leave you with this tidbit

ANNUAL HOLLYOAKS DISASTER REVEALED

The yearly Hollyoaks disaster will take place during the shows 20th anniversary celebrations in October that will also mark a year since I began story lining.

This year the tragic events will unfold at Hollyoaks High as Holly Cunningham - who was granted entry to University a year early - will return to give a speech to the new sixth formers and other students.

Her speech will take place at a charity fundraiser which will see the highest number of villagers ever to be present at one of the disasters as a high school shooting unfolds leading to an even bigger disaster.
