Give me some new drinks to order at a bar.
Bored of my usual. I'm very safe most times, vodka and coke, vodka and orange, mojito or a magners is about the most variety.
Need some new things to drink. No beers/ale. Prefer sweet and alcohol taste well masked. |

I was going to say Aperol Spritz, but it might be a bit too bitter/alcoholic tasting.. It is delicious though - Aperol, Prosecco, a dash of soda water and a slice of orange with plenty of ice.

Morgan's Spiced and Coke, French martini. Or if you like sweet drinks, maybe Peach Schnapps and lemonade or Malibu and coke? Gin and bitter lemon or G&T with lemon/lime though that might not be sweet enough.

Patron XO Café. It's got an intensely strong ground coffee taste, very sweet, you can hardly taste the tequila but there's a powerful alcoholic kick in the back of your throat followed by a lingering bittersweet coffee aftertaste. Very moreish...if you like coffee.
If you want to live dangerously try Green Chartreuse. It's sweet and seductive but when it goes down it'll blow your socks off! (I know you said at a bar but it'll ignite a furnace inside you added to proper hot chocolate made with milk especially when you've just come in out of the cold on a raw winter's day.) |

Thanks for all the suggestions...although not those who said gin and tonic lol. Tried that last night, god. Was still trying to get the taste out of my mouth 4 hours later.

I like dry Manhattans, but you can order them with sweet Vermouth to help mask the alcohol taste.
