Which makes better tea?

Tetley for me.

Tetley if forced to choose but I'd rather have something else.

PG for me = in the NW

For taste and strength and price.. PG TIPS every time...

They're pretty much interchangeable to my palate. I like them both.

Not much of a tea drinker myself as I prefer coffee but if I do drink tea it has to be Yorkshire Tea.

Neither, both crap. Yorkshire or Ringtons.

Out of those two - Tetley, because I never could stand those adverts with the chimps. Yuck.

I don't buy either though.

Tetley for me, I drink very weak tea without milk, PG is too harsh tasting drunk this way.

They're both like dishwater.

it's got to be Yorkshire, Lancashire or Captain Scott ( proceeds from which go to the upkeep of the explorers camp in the Antarctic, now a museum ) That's the best tea for me, though hard to find.

I prefer PG, and am currently midway through a box of PG pyramid teabags.

When it comes to tea bags I really don't see the point in going for a cheap brand as you are only saving a few pence per cup. A supermarket own brand may be 1p per bag, a Tetley/PG Tips 2-3p per bag or you can get something decent for 4-5p per bag.

Personally, I like a pure Assam which I find to be robust enough without being too strong and over-powering. The likes of Ceylon and Earl Grey are too delicate for me.

I know the purists will say that you should use loose leaf tea but I find that too much of a hassle when I just want a quick cuppa.

if I were forced to pick one of those two, then PG Tips.

However, I usually buy Yorkshire Tea or Sainsbury's Red Label Extra Strong.

Preferably neither but if it were a limited choice between those two I'd have Tetley.
