You're right. Just looked. It is pretty well executed too. Foxtrot is quite difficult and there were real steps in there and so she made a reasonable attempt I think. A bit stompy (flat footed).

I didn't say high. I said good. Not the same thing. But I agree 22 wasn't as high as I thought she got.

I think the judges are viewing her with a kind eye..

I think she does extremely well to bring her feet properly together neatly and turn. She is back weighted probably causing her toes to rise, but that control of weight is a big ask for a beginner. So I think she does well there.

I blame the BBC for including her.

They obviously don't want to appear to discriminate against overweight people.
She's been included purely for "entertainment value" as they know due to her size, she's no chance of winning, no one of that size has ever won.
I consider it poor judgement, as it is obviously going to be extremely hard for her to keep up with the training and could be injurious to her health, as she looks the type to make the effort rather than "go through the motions."

But when there's ratings to be won...

Couldn't they take and scale up the construction Howard Hughes had made for Jane Russell for the film "The Outlaw?"
(Mind you, she said she never used it).

What big girls need is proper structure in the bodice ( I'm a big girl too so I know you need Isambard Kingdom Brunel type engineering) and then she needs darker, subtle colours shaded even darker to the hem and not cut in half at the waist.”

I thought she looked fabulous, unfettered ample girls have a certain natural appeal as I am sure you do.

I think Alison looked great on the night, it isn't easy to dress such a big woman for a dance. Maybe Gok could give a bit of advice? I wonder if he watches and cringes.

Oh trust me, you don't live in everyones head, so have no idea what issues they may have, don't assume from what is outside it is a reflection on what is going on in the inside, that is why I feel the "real" label is dangerous. I think HEALTHY would not offend anyone and does not give the feeling of negativity.

Seems Vicky Gill must have been reading our posts! Did you see her on ITT last night? She announced to Zoe, while discussing this weekend's costumes, that she is trying to 'build some support into Alison's dress, to avoid the bouncing.' AT LAST, a result for the more generously endowed ladies.
