1) I can feel my brain becoming dumbed down from watching a show that I've always loved - its values/ethos are slipping dramatically.
2) Pixie is my favourite based on the two dances so far but she needs to stop going on about her busy work life.
3) Judy and Scott were abysmal and should of been criticised more harshly than the way Steve was which was undeserved.
4) I'm astounded I'm liking Mark and I don't believe he's putting it on for show as a result of being media trained - seems genuine.
5) Len, Bruno and Anton are becoming infuriating with the same spiel coming from them - time to get rid!

1. The show was far too long. I needed the recap to remember some of the dances.
2. I love Alison & Aljaz together.
3. I really want Tristan to be around for longer.
4. Pixie may be good but she's emotionally cold.

2. I wish Aliona and Natalie had different partners.

5. Have to agree with CloneClown's first thought, most of the music was diabolical and the costuming wasn't much better.

Exactly my thoughts. I thought tonight was chaotic and very unprofessional. They need an anchor for the show and Tess just isn't it.

1. Mark's outfit was a shocker & distracted from the performance.
2. Jake was amazing & Janette very brave.
3. A huge group of very very awful dancers this year
4. Is there a couple more irritating than Pixie & Steve Bescemi's love child
5. It doesn't matter who Natalie dances with she just looks stunning. (Ola take note)

6. I wish Judy had said no. I don't mind some people being humiliated but I just felt sad watching her.

1. Favourite was Caroline, think she should have got a couple more marks than what she did.
2. Loved Alison and Aljaz. Might not have been technically brilliant but made me smile. A lot.
3. I can't see how Scott and Joanne got a 6.
4. Wasn't impressed by the music choices for the Tango's tonight.
5. Should've really seen a tennis theme coming for Judy at some point but it wasn't necessary. Felt quite sorry for her.

1- Amazing Salsa Jake !!! I will give credit where its due but I STILL CANT warm up to Janette
2-My favorites performances were from : Team ALLI which was undermarked IMO , Sunetra, Thom and Pixie.
3-I find Frankie and Kevin boring; Slowly warming up to Pixie.
4-I STILL have HIGH hopes for Thom and Steve
5- The couples I am rooting for are not doing as well and the couples I dont care about are doing well

1. Want to get rid of the faffing about at the beginning of dances
2. Want to see training videos as introductions to dances not silly faffing about
3. Dont want to see the judges faffing about
4. Anton might get a first in Strictly- to be voted out 1st week

1 Nailing my colours to the mast here, really rooting for Jake, and so happy with that dance tonight - even my salsa dancing daughter applauded at the end

1. I absolutely loved Jake and Janette's Salsa. Amazing choreography.

This was my thought too - only Pixies was the one that had traditional music and costuming. I agree with the poster too who said the show was too long - I was clock watching at 7.30 out of boredom.

I'm quite gutted that I'm having these feelings of losing faith in the show.

1. Show not slick tonight, some awful silent pauses. Needs a 'proper' presenter, like Graham Norton.
2. Judy is dreadful.
3. Jake was way overmarked and is sulky and has attitude problems.
4. Gregg is also dreadful.
5. Tim is a lot of fun.

1. Pixie was very over-marked, she needs a VT that's not about how busy she is and to stop sticking her leg in the air. Yes, we get it, you can do the Lucky-poo-poo leg lift no need to show us again......and again

2. Jakes salsa was pretty excellent but it felt like there were more lifts than dancing? The lifts were brilliant though and very brave of Janette

3. In comparison to others marks Frankie deserved at least 4 8's.

4. I didn't think I'd like Mark at all but I find him really quite endearing actually!

5. I think Scott is going to last far longer than he deserves to unfortunately

2) Loved Caroline's Tango.
3) They're all quite bad apart from the top 4.
4) I'm pleased that Simon and Thom didn't too well - they seem a bit cocky.
5) Loved how bloody long the show was. Great stuff. Strictly's back.

2, Some shocking marking tonight,,,Darcey i'm looking at you!

3, The first time I have ever moaned about the singing but it was dreadful at times tonight

4, Those were NOT Tango songs!

5, Felt sorry for Frankie as Kevin is in charge of the choreography so any criticism shouldn't be aimed at her, but in Kevins defence I don't believe he would've chosen that song so FFS producers, sort it out!

Cheeky 6, I did actually enjoy the show

1. Sunetra is just adorable, isn't she? Definitely one of my favourites, and could be a dark horse. I think she'll be much more popular in the votes than Patrick last year.

2. I thought Frankie was great - I wasn't too sure what the judges were talking about? I loved the rock and roll theme of it! Frankie is much better and much more fun than I thought she'd be.

3. I thought Jake's Salsa was overmarked. The daring lifts in the second half of it covered up a lot of mistakes in the first half. It definitely didn't deserve a 9 at this stage.

4. There was something dodgy about Scott's marks. Craig's comments made me think it would be a 2 or a 3, and Len gave it a 6? NO WAY was it better than Jennifer, or Gregg for that matter.

5. I hope Judy somehow makes it through to next week. I think knowing the public have voted for her would give her a big confidence boost.

1. Tess and Claud presenting is working for me, don't miss Brucie at all!
2. Caroline is my favourite - as talented as Frankie and Pixie, but warmer, and less robotic.
3. JAKE!! I love how reserved he is in interview, and then 100% in character for the dances. Fabulous as the quiet one or the dark horse!
4. Thom loves himself, doesn't he? Quite off putting.
5. Aliona looks like she wants to be put out of her misery, I bet she's hoping to be in the dance off!

1. The show flowed much better this week.
2. Jake's lifts/ head on his leg bit were fantastic.
3. Claudia was funny in the Claud pit.
4. I really don't like Pixie, it's not as if she is an 'A' star, if she is too busy why did you sign up?
5. Please tell the studio audience that they do not need to stand after every dance just the really good ones.

1) Craig ruined any constructive comments he had on other dances by being really unnecessarily cruel to Steve. It's one thing to critique him and offer what he thought of the dance (even though it's wrong, he never "threw" Ola on the floor) but to suggest that he shouldn't bother coming back next week should he survive was really cruel and bitchy. I strongly suspect that he was digging at Ola through Steve due to James' outspoken comments on Strictly. I love Ola and although I'm no fan of the way James constantly puts his foot in it, Craig was just pathetic and unprofessional. I felt really sorry for Steve and I hope this doesn't damage his confidence going forward as whatever the issues between James and the BBC are, they're not his fault.

2) I found myself in the very rare position of applauding Len Goodman, a guy I can't usually stand. It seemed like all the other judges were seriously annoyed with Bruno tonight and I really can't blame them. He's frustrating as he's actually quite knowledgable and usually very fair but the OTT behaviour is too much now and doesn't make me smile anymore. It's fine when he's saying his own piece but as if appearing and mucking about in shot when Tess was introducing the next couple was stupid enough, getting up and dancing during Craig and Darcey's critique and continuing loud conversations with the audience was disrespectful and he has just crossed the line from effeminately fun to just plain obnoxious. Len seriously and firmly told him to calm down and Darcey and Craig were staring thunderously in his direction. He seems to think everything is about him and the producers need to have a chat with him, pronto.

3) Jake Wood's salsa was one of my favourite dances I've seen on Strictly. I've always rated him as an actor and this is translating to his dancing and I think he may be a contender if he doesn't peak too early.

4) Scott Mills posture is really, really distracting. He needs to sort it or he'll be gone soon.

5) Judy Murray needs to be put out of her misery and be the first to go. It's clear she is incredibly uncomfortable out there and it's actually quite hard to watch.

1. I fear Tess is buckling under the pressure of being the lead
2. The show's long enough, no need for time-consuming "Coming up on Strictly" vignettes.
3. Jake has completely surprised me
4. Love Frankie already even though no idea who she is.
5. Music and costumes worse than ever this year.
