Oh and a cheeky 6.) Simon Webbe seems so full of himself. Attention seeking and arrogant. Paired with Kristina's ever present desperation to win, it's not a great combo.

1) Get a better dress designer - some of the costumes are just rubbish, they look cheap and are not appropriate. I don't mean skimpy but they just don't go with what is a dance competition. I think when SCD first started they used a proper company to provide the costumes, they should go back to them or get a designer who understands ballroom!
2) Use appropriate music, there is too much 'pop', if this is at the behest of the producers the professionals and probably the judges should have a word.
3) The above apart I am enjoying this series - an excellent mixture of the good, the bad and the disastrous.
4) Claudia and Tess are settling in, give them another couple of weeks and Bruce will be forgotten.
5) Loving Jake and I thought he would be awful, so hope he goes a long way.
5a) Give Natalie a decent partner - she is one of the best ballroom dancers and deserves better.

1. It's a shame but Alison doesn't dance very well in hold, and she needs to do something about those shoes (even if she needs flatties, there must be a way to make her feet look more elegant as she dances).

2. Second excellent week from Jake. I'm pleased he has surprised me (and that salsa would have received much higher marks if performed later on in the series)..

3. Mark and Karen's routine was boring! I expected more, but put this week's down to producer's choice and choreography. (And Mark's outfit, although fitting the part, was awful!).

4. Judy could actually look good dancing if she loosened up. She has the right figure for it and does have rhythm.

5. I thought that Tim's routine was quite sweet and not too bad.

1. Why are wardrobe disguising Caroline's waist whilst making Alison look even broader in the beam?

2. Slacks and sparkly jumpers should never appear again (Mark).

3. Anton has given up already & he & Judy need to go soon.

4. Jeanette's choreography is a revelation.

5. Who did Franke & Pixie bribe to get near the end slots both weeks?

1 Anton and Judy aint gonna gel....

2 Anton gets on my wick big time

3 Anton needs to be pensioned off....perleese

4 Loved Craig's choice of vocabulary as ever

5 Bruno may be irritating at times, but he does give good advice which is kind and helpful to a contestant

1. Judges. Entering by dancing. Still. WHY?!?!?!

2. I want to make it clear that I don't like Jake Wood. Ugghh...creepy. BUT..I love how Janette is totally going for it, and giving him great stuff to do.

3. I didn't think I would like Mark. Reality show rubbish, I thought. Now I'm beginning to warm to him.

4. Oh dear Mr Webbe. Sort out your attitude sir. It stinks.

5. Alison and Aljaz really light up the screen. And she was another I expected to really annoy me.

1. Why did frankie get to go last twice? Seems unfair.

2. Always believed in Jake (see my finishing order prediction!) think he will just be great...

3. Caroline under marked- Thom over marked.

4. I want Bruce back.

5. gregg didn't deserve to go.

1, Gregg's dance-off performance was more improved than Mrs- Mrs Brown's. therefore she should have gone.

2. Having said that, couldn't believe she was there at all rather than Judy Murray.

3. Caroline and MMB had same, awful 'caught in a sideways windstorm' hairstyle. Have a bit of imagination SCD hairdressers.

4. Jake gave me that heart-racing tingle that Kara always gave me. That's what I want from Strictly.

5. Judy can't dance for Edinburgh rock, but that shade of blue looked amazing on her.

1 - it all feels chaotic and Tess doesn't really seem to be in control. Took her far too long to settle the audience after Jake's Salsa for instance

2 - it's getting a bit X-Factor with the judges getting a grand entrance - they aren't more important than the celebrities (whatever they may think)

3 - audience - please let the judges finish. Craig in particular tends to do his negative and then end up with a 'however....' But by that time either the audience (or Tess!) have shouted him down

4 - costumes are a bit odd - whatever was Caroline wearing, that wasn't a Tango dress... - as is the music at times

5 - Claudia is brilliant in the 'pit'

1. Sunetra and Brendan FTW!
2. Alison and Aljaz make me happy.
3. I don't like Mark Wright.
4. A Tango to Stop? What in the world?
5. I will miss Aliona.

1. They were cheating - they danced a FT like an American Smooth with some latin moves thrown in for good measure and she did like a bit like baloon in hold on occasion - BUT I don't care I totally love the two Ali's and their routine made me smile. They are probably my favourite couple this year their sense of fun and the way they seem to get on like a house on fire is infectious.

2. I agree with everyone about Craig and Steve - Steve wasn't brilliant but he was actually moving his hips and giving it a go. I like him long may he stay.

3. Mostly I liked the costumes but Caroline and Mark's were just strange.

4. Again agree about odd tango music - it took away from Caroline's performance and it really didn't help Scott at all and that lad needs all the help he can get. The 50s themed charleston didn't really work either - although through no fault of Frankie's.

5. Who is voting for Judy Murray and could they stop? I mean nice lady but her ccc was embrassing especially at the beginning.

1. Peoples - PLEASE stop voting for Tennis Mum/Coach, I had to fast forward after 30 seconds it made me feel so uncomfortable I was cringing. Her & Anton were such a bad pairing - both so unlikable imo. I shall be hitting FF any time they are visible; even on ITT.

2. Producers; stop with the sickly, boring VT's; let's see some proper training not fluff & nonsense. (What's with the dragging out of Big Head's daughter every time he's on some reality show? We saw enough of her on The Big Reunion thanks).

3. Producers; stop dictating to the costume dept, in the past they've designed gorgeous stuff, why has it gone so cheap, tacky & unflattering? (Except for the chosen ones - you KNOW who you are). Vicky Gill is still there so she can't suddenly have lost all her taste; along with the rest of her crew surely?

4. Producers; stop dictating the music for the dances, R&R for a Charleston is just WRONG! So is screeching & wailing for a Tango - euchhhh I had to watch Christina & Big-Head's Tango on mute, it distracted me so much. Can we have more traditional music.

5. Producers; stop casting 'celebrities' that are too busy to train, can't be arsed, so full of themselves they talk to the Professionals like they are their lackeys & are just doing it to promote themselves! Let's have ones that love the show & really want to try their best to dance well. (I know the majority are doing it to enhance their careers but at least get c'lebs that ALSO are genuinely fans of SCD).

1 Jake and Janette! Wow Not sure I've seen a salsa quite like it on Strictly. Where do you go from there?
2 Alison and Aljaz are my favourites - she really performs the dances well and Aljaz looks like he's having so much fun which is so lovely to see. And of course I'm completely in love with him.
3 Judy - really really frustrating to watch! I was shouting at the telly - MOVE WOMAN!! The routine didn't help - half of it was just standing still with a racket in her hand (cringe!) but when she did have the chance to move she barely went for it! So annoying. Thought it was a dead cert she was going.
4 Perhaps I'm going to be unpopular here (haven't had time to read other thoughts yet) but I didn't really like Pixie's dance that much. I didn't hate it but just didn't fall in love with it - too many leg extensions (which looked a bit too good to me haha). I would have found it more moving if more of it had been in hold. They had a beautiful, simple song. That's all the dance needed to be for me. No bridge needed either - grr props!
5 As mentioned, Pixie's song was beautiful for a waltz but overall there were some awful awful songs choices. 'Stop' for a tango?? Any spice girls song for a tango?? Wrong. And 'Sing' for a tango. Didn't feel that it has the feel of a tango. But then I guess I'm a traditionalist - you can't beat proper tango music for a tango. How many times can I say tango?

my 5 thoughts

1) WHY are celebs being given charleston and american smooth in week 2 when they havent even learnt the basic ballroom or latin moves yet or even done a ballroom dance

2) sparkly jumpers should NEVER be worn - esp on a man!

3) props - just NO, its ridiculous, we ALL know Judy is a tennis coach, she doesnt need a tennis racket do dance with!

4) a tango to Stop??!!?! whoever thought that was a good idea needs to be sacked - immeidately!

5) cannot stand Simon

1. Wow, Jake! It's fascinating how someone who appears so wooden off the dancefloor can perform like that. It was an exciting salsa. I am also glad for Janette, she deserves it after last year's partner from glitter hell.
2. I also loved Caroline's performance. She might not have Pixie or Frankie's natural abilities to dance, but I find her a more interesting character, so I hope she ends up beating these two!
3. I can see that Simon is not coming across very well but I am still a bit puzzled by his marks. I think he is a better dancer than his ranking suggests.
4. Phew, Alison is bubbly is a nice way, I was fearing a return of the Lisa fun fun in your face Riley.
5. Scott is rubbish and should have gone home. He is also a bit deluded about his performances.

1. Thought both Alison and Steve were undermarked.
2. Still think this is the worst line-up ever. With the exception of one or two everyone is too bland.
3. Thom has been such a disappointment. Good looking but wooden and boring.
4. Loved Jake's Salsa and Sunetra's cha cha.
5. Joanne's choreography is not improving.

Frankie was second to last, last week.

1. So happy Natalie is back - I adore her & she will get the best out of Tim

2. What were Wardrobe thinking with Mark? It's an AS - have you no soul?

3. Frankie & Pixie are excellent but cannot warm to either yet - that may change.

4. Scott gives me the creeps - hope he is out next.

5. Not a fan of dancing judges & extra montages, cut it out, we're not XF!

1. An amazing performance from Jake.
2. Delighted Tim and Natalie went through
3. Felt a bit sorry for Gregg - he certainly wasn't the worst
4. Thom is just a pretty face and imo was well overmarked.
5. Frankie's wiki page shows she went to a private dance school and Pixie Lott has appeared in musicals. I have no problem with previous experience providing the celeb hasn't actually made a living from dance - but I do wish we were given details of pre competition training etc.

I'll just add a 6th. I expected Alison to get on my nerves in the same way as Lisa Riley - she didn't.

Just hope it lasts.....
